This was the first time I got to watch Scorpion live and man was that exciting. It's going to be hard to top this episode in terms of intensity and the amount of times I found myself holding my breath. Awesome!
AMAZING EPISODE!!!, this episode was intense, it always scares me when kids are danger in shows and this was no different, wanted so much more Walter and Paige but her not wanting him to go down the cave was great and that last look between them was showing their feelings growing i think or at least hope, i didn't expect Happy's dad to have known who she was all along and i'm glad she invited him to the team's dinner and loved Megan in this episode, also loved that the team gave Ralph snow for Christmas, overall amazing episode and hopefully in the second half of the season we get a lot more Walter and Paige scenes and moments because at this point i think we deserve it
OMG! THAT EPISODE! O_O I thought it was the best one so far! OMG Still reeling and spinning from it!!!! I loved every second of it and decided to watch it live. I'm telling you, if every episode made me shudder in angst and suspense before every commercial break, I will be going insane! OMG! Scorpion is definitely my second favorite show! :D
I was just going to say that "Dominoes" is the best Scorpion episode to date. The thought of being trapped in a small space that's filling up with water, knowing a cave-in could happen at any moment made me hyperventilate. Sylvester understandably has yet to completely overcome his traumatic experience. It's a good thing Megan gave him the kick in the rear Sylvester needed to get him back on the right track. I was glad to see Happy reunited with her father even if it seemed to gloss over the abandonment issues she has with him. How great was Toby as he supported Happy while she worked through her issues with her dad. Speaking of family issues ... the universe is trying to tell Paige something if only she would listen. Drew left her and Ralph once again to chase his dream of playing baseball. If Paige would take a moment to look around the room when everyone was gathered for the Christmas celebration, she would realize that Ralph was with his family. Sometimes family isn't necessarily what you are born into. Sometimes family are the people who chose to be with you. Paige and Ralph have a new family in Team Scorpion.
I think the issues Happy has with her dad will probably be revisited. Those kinds of things are usually glossed over when making an effort to reunite. Kind of like a honeymoon period. I think Paige is in a bit of denial about Drew. She always tries to be so positive about things for Ralph that she wants Drew to be a changed man and she wants to believe him when he says he wants to put Ralph first. I am severely claustrophobic, so this episode is the epitome of my worst nightmare. I wonder how Walter will react to the budding romance between his sister and Sylvester? He is so protective of her, he will probably not take it well. I loved to see Cabe reading to Ralph, just like a grandfather would.
I think given Sylvester;s lack of social experience and skills and his emotional maturity level, it will develop into a crush for him and a friendship for her. He's shown her a vulnerability and trust that he hasn't shown the others.
I thought the episode was great, but no one got Paige a Christmas present and I thought that was a glaring insult. I mean she got something for everyone and everyone else gave presents to each other so to leave her out really bugged me.
I think the gift was the snow for Ralph. She wanted to offer him everything he wanted, but she couldn't offer him snow, so the team did. Maybe that was her gift?
Best show and series ever! This episode was so emotional, intense, tear-jerking - everything all rolled up into one! Paige and Walter are adorable! So happy Paige's ex was no where to be scene!
I was going to say, this drew gut punch after another, I actually thought they would let the kid die for a second, that Walter would bring his body up but he would be dead, or in coma, which is a feeling I lost with most procedural shows, to be scared of the worst resolution. And the Happy scene, this actress doesn't get the credit she deserves, that scene was so powerful, the way her face showed all those different emotions, she's good!!!
I think all of the actors in this show are so talented and play the subtleties of each character. the various defenses they have developed over the years to protect their genius hearts, so perfectly. It is a joy to watch. This show is so good, it will either take off and be a darling for seasons, so long as the writers don't mess with a good formula, or it will be cursed like a lot of great shows and be abandoned. So far, the first option looks good.
This was, by faaaaar, my favorite episode of the series so far. Amazing hour, from start to finish. I adored Walter (and the entire team really) on this. Amazing.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was amazing love it
ReplyDeleteWas hoping for a Paige/Walter mistletoe kiss but I'll have to settle for a longing look instead. Boo
ReplyDeleteyeah same here LOL, i guess they're definitely slow-burn right but that look WAS something at least

ReplyDeleteThey may have and we just didn't see it. I don't think Cabe would have forgotten her.
ReplyDeleteor especially Walter
