  1. IT WAT EPIC! I never enjoyed Daniel's storyline, bu the way his charecter died was simply majestic, loved the episode!

  2. Why Daniel? He was making such progress. He finally admitted to his own crap and the crap of his family. Why couldn't it have been Charlotte?

  3. I don't know what to say....i can't express my feelings right now
    R.I.P Dude
    Shocking episode for sure

  4. Why not Margauxxx ugh im so pissed!

  5. This was great! I knew it was going to be Daniel- they had just redeemed him and I've heard rumors that the actor wanted to leave. I'm sad because I'll miss him, but it was a good episode.

  6. Not surprised Daniel died. I knew it was coming. The actor wanted out for a long time. The real surprise is that that was Revenge's mid season finale and its coming back in freakin January against all the award shows.

  7. I knew it! All those Daniel flashbacks with Conrad..and he died protecting Emily. It all came full circle. p.s: great suspense in the last five munutes. Revenge always has epic death scenes!

  8. It was a nice farewell episode for Daniel.

  9. And it's airing at 10 behind a probably even lower Resurrection cause it won't have Once as the lead-in. I was so annoyed when I saw 10/9c at the end of the promo.

  10. Wow! Daniel died r.i.p great episode

  11. Not surprised, cause Joshua bowman has wanted off the show for a while now

  12. I hope revrnge gets lucky again like last year when it managed to get a 1.8 out of a 0.9 lead in.

  13. Seems like this whole Malcolm storyline should of been at the start of the season and ditch the Graysons, as it seems they served no purpose this season. It might of been different if the David/Victoria arcs were handled better.

  14. If it aired at 9 that would be possible. Shows that air at 10 don't usually rise from their lead-in (maybe by a tenth or two).

  15. I guess this shows only hope on January, is the hype from this episode

  16. Those last 10 minutes though! I don't remember the last time Revenge had so much action. Really good ep overall, with the flashbacks obviously leading into Daniel's death. RIP.

  17. I really really wish the show aired at 9. F*ck ABC...

  18. I really wish it hadn't been Daniel. However, Daniel was such a poorly written and inconsistent character, that I'm not surprised the actor wanted out. He started out as a decent person who seemed to really love Emily, but ended up as collateral damage in Emily's revenge scheme. And instead of addressing that and making viewers feel more empathy towards him, the writers instead went overboard and ruined his character (probably to make Jack look like the best option for Emily). My guess is that the only reason they improved the writing for his character was because they were going to kill him off, which sucks. I would much rather they kept Daniel and Aiden over Jack, Margaux, Charlotte or Ben .At this point, Nolan and Emily are the only people I care about.

  19. If anyone here watched Resurrection, did they air a promo for the next ep?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I know right, if it was gonna be in January, I would've at least had it a 9/8c with Resurrection at 10/9c since that's certain to be cancelled. Goodness I should be head of the ABC scheduling department.

    ReplyDelete
  21. But it does not seem like Revenge is getting another season either at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Let's not say that and see what happens. Even though Revenge should end, I do think ABC will give it at least a 12 ep final season.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I tend to agree with most of this, especially with how poorly written Daniel's character was. I read an interview to Emily Van Camp last year, around the time season 3 started, and she discussed how the writers had to define where Emily's love interest really was. It was with either Aiden or Jack, but not Daniel, she said. Consistently, the writers started to portray Daniel as outright evil, when his character was initially good and later more tridimensional.

  24. Will Revenge only have 3 episodes in January them come back in March like last year or are they doing something different?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I knew it... Daniel was going to die, I knew, and I was still incredibly heartbroken. He was by far the most interesting character this season and now he is gone... at least he went out with a blaze of glory.

I love that Revenge had so much action and so much development: as a whole it was a really good episode, great even, but I can't shake the feeling that the writers are still throwing every into the wall and seeing what sticks, I feel there's a lack of a plan. And yet, this episode is quite outstanding.

Why am I so conflicted with the show when I'm enjoying it so much? It is really puzzling

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm heartbroken, but its hard to be pissed when Daniel went out with such an amazing dead... still, I'm really, really heartbroken. Like seriously, you can't believe how bummed I am... what is this, an episode of GoT?
Well, that is what made it all the more awesome... though it hurts like hell

    ReplyDelete
  27. With any luck, Charlotte will be on rehab for the rest of her life and won't come back to haunt the show with her presence

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm sure you, or anyone, would do a better job than ABC scheduling department. This is why they sometimes are refered as "the dumb network"

    ReplyDelete
  29. Still has more of a shot than Resurrection, so at least they could give it its best shot for a final season

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think it'll be the same as last year. 3 episodes on January and then back on March following Secrets & Lies

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think a 1.5 would be its 10PM equivalent, but if it does that I'll be over the moon!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I can't get my head around why they didn't swap them! It's better for them; It's not like they would do it for the show and that it would hurt them.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think they might air four eps of Revenge since Galavant will air for 4 weeks and Resurrection has 4 episodes left.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wow, I never thought I would feel for Daniel after season 3 but his death really got to me.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Great episode. But hate what the writers did to Daniel these past 4 years. Redeem him to a certain extent this season only for him to go out like that.

    ReplyDelete
  36. It wasn't the episode that I was waiting for but that fighting scene... jesus.
And Victoria saying that she betrayed David because she was mad with him? I hated that.
But, I feel sad for Daniel, I knew he was going to die, poor Margaux, maybe she will lose the baby just to make us feel even worse

  37. ermagod last Sunday was already heart-breaking with The Walking Dead and now.....
    I need a break seriously.

  38. From last week,i was dead sure it would be no one other than
daniel. Now that almost every main character who were remotely
    interesting has died,i don't know i can see emily & jack's boring
star-crossed union & victoria-david's cat and mouse game.To top it
off, nolan is also getting weirdly close with that loony chick louise! When
aiden died,i was sad but i accepted it coz it moved the storyline
forward in some way, then they killed conrad and brought in that dumb
david in his place-i still tolerated it.But now,it's just
irritating. They will kill off all the characters for every mid-season
finale/season finale to create a shock value until no one is left
besides emily and writer's precious male mary sue jack!Urgh!
From this one till the end,i may have to binge watch coz every week watching is not an option for me anymore.

  39. "Nobody does death like Revenge"
I was expecting so much more. Not that I was expecting to be surprised of the victim, but the way of how they killed him. Two shots and he's dead. I guess the shocking thing was that he died protecting Emily. Blah.

  40. I totally agree, ever since Mike Kelley left the show has seemed to have no planning whatsoever. I mean just using Kate's character as an example, so she came in around episode 4/5 or something like that, did nothing for 4 episodes then got together with Jack in episode nine. Just this episode, it was confirmed that she's a dirty cop, revealed that she was actually Malcolm Blacks daughter, then killed 4 minutes later. I mean her character has obviously had no freaking planning whatsoever, which is lame because if the writers had planned out her character her storyline could've been so much better. I mean really no one even cared about her until last episode. What they should've done, is introduced her from the start, had her flirt with Jack for a few episodes, you know do all that Conrad's death crime solving stuff etc. Then she should've gotten together with Jack about episode 5, and they should've actually built upon their relationship so when Jack was forced to shoot her to save Emily and Daniel it could've actually had some impact. He didn't even have time actually start caring about her. It just seems like a waste. And that's only one example in like a swarm since season three started.

  41. I thought the episode was really good, but Daniel´s death was useless, they didn´t know how to end the episode so that we would want to see right away the next episode and they did that. Besides, I was liking him again this season :(

    ReplyDelete
  42. What a awesome episode, I'm still heartbroken over Daniel with all the flashbacks of him and Conrad, it showed he really wasn't a bad guy even back then, he just folded under the pressure of being a Grayson, and just when he was tired of running from his past he died, he truly redeemed himself, he died selfless, David was trying to let his mother join him, didn't see that coming we know no he wasn't completely blinded by Victoria, I'm glad that FBI fraud is gone, Emily and David are going to join forces to take out the remainder of those cruel Grayson's which is fine by me!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Why David tried to kill Victoria anyway? It seemed to me totally out of the blue, or did I miss something? I mean, if he discovered that Victoria put a target on Emilys back that would be understable, but I don't think that he knew that.

    ReplyDelete
  44. That's not true anymore IMO. ABC has been the better network to schedule this year. They had an almost perfect schedule for the fall and their treatment of most midseason breaks has been impeccable. They've horrible things in the past but so far this year i think that's very unfair.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Kate showed up in episode 9, or 8 from what I recall. Check your facts before you start ranting.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Was I the only one that for a sec there thought that Kate may actually be working for David? I mean, after he put this thing into Victoria's wine I was under the impression that he saw right through her and only used Kate as bait, to check what would Victoria do, test her loyalty (or lack of it)...I mean, her being Black's daughter was kinda too-obvious.

  47. I just want everyone dead, apart from Emily and Nolan whom shall both ride off into the sunset(but only as bffs of course).

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm glad they killed off Daniel but I'm not sure if it's enough to save the spiraling ratings or poor writing this season. Oh and WTF! Why would Amanda get so sentimental over Daniel's death? Has she forgotten that he shot her and blew her ovaries all to hell so she can't have kids? Really! Who can forgive that?

    ReplyDelete
  49. #RIPDaniel
Best moment of the season. This episode was everything.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I wondered why they making out like Daniel and Emily would get back together. Then BOOM he's dead. :'( So so sad.

    ReplyDelete
  51. That doesn't change anything I stated? Whatever episode she came in, which I did state loosely btw, in my eyes they still should have introduced her from the too?
