for me i thought they were siblings, i thought dulaque was going to say "travel well, brother" and yeah the chemistry between Stone and Cassandra is making it very hard for me not to ship them LOL
i keep thinking i can't love this show more and more but this show is quickly becoming my favorite, loved having Flynn back and his quirkiness and the Evil versions of The Librarians were hilarious and yeah wow Cassandra is definitely a force to be reckoned with, love that Stone pays attention to what Cassandra does and he can still make her not lose control, should've known Ezekiel would be immune to the Apple LOL, okay i need to know what in the world are Jenkins and dulaque right now!!!
A "Eric B. and Rakim" quote (I get paid in full) from John Larroquette..........how do you not love this series (No Spoilers)! 4 THE LIBRARIANS CARD, I am Nobody!!!
Loved that Stones evil side apparently just couldn't stand the wrong paintings being next to each other. And LOL at Ezekials non affect by the apple because he already was his worst self. Loved getting a little bit of story development and character development of Jenkins beyond his normal sarcastic personality.
Is it weird that I am actually starting to enjoy the show more without Flynn around? I like his character don't get me wrong but I find him a bit to much at times. I enjoy the new librarians growing as a group and individuals without Flynn around to help them or be all wacky. I like that he does drop by time from time though just to catch up. But I would love to see more character development before he comes back again. Dying for more Stone's story I think it has good potential and lets be honest I think a lot of us like Christian Kane lol.
My only weakness I found in this episode was Cassie's being bad felt really forced or cheesy (on an already silly cheesy show). I like the actress she is adorable and I have seen her on a lot but please don't make her be "bad" again. Please writers it was a little clunky. And of course it involved her taking half her clothes off. Beautiful girl but come one now really. At least lets get Stones shirt off then because I am ready for it.
I think it has potential to stand on it's own if Flynn still plays a background part and comes back for every couple episodes to check up on the gang and be fun. But overall I do think it's nice to see the group outside of him grow a bit because he can be a little over powering sometimes with his wacky hijinks on top of the already crazy hijinks. But then again I didn't watch the original movies the series is based on either so maybe I just don't get the huge deal of Flynn like some of the movie fans do.
Loved the episode, Jake Stone's character evil self was so great, and then back to helping Cassandra focus. Really enjoyed the story developement between Jenkins/Dulaque. My son actually guessed Ezekial would not be affected by apple because he was already his worst self. Can't wait to see more about Jake Stone's story, well I'm sure it is because I love his acting!
Looking forward to each and every episode! It is fun learning more and more about these characters and/or seeing them in the different parts such as Evil- Cassandra.. Lindy Booth was awesome.. but there wasnt near enough of Evil- Stone.. Christian Kane was great in his short Evil Stone storyline.. hoping for many seasons.. and seeing more the characters play changing roles... good .. bad... evil.. etc.. Thanks!
LOTS of surprises in this week's #TheLibrarians and every week it gets better and better!! All interwoven like a giant puzzle and you have to keep watching to get the next piece!! I love all the facial expressions and the body language...adds sooooo much to the lines and the scene(s) ;) Get that boy some pizza!! LOL
Evil Cassandra really impressed me! Christian Kane as Jacob Stone is still my favorite character of The Librarians. I absolutely loved his delivery of the line about appreciating art. Something I can watch over and over.
It could end up being a lot of things, but a former couple would be interesting. I've been thinking they had to have been working together in the past, but the last episode made it clear that it was more than that... in one way or another ;-)
i took the "whatever is we were" as in they're supernatural creatures actually because in the Santa episode when Baird told Jenkins dulaque fell of the plane and thought he died and Jenkins slipped and said something along the lines that they're tougher than that and then in this one he said that they've been around 1,000 years so i didn't take it as a relationship quote but more mythology
Yeah, that was my understanding too. I'm assuming they're the same as Judson, who was hinted to be over 2000 years old in the movies. Dulaque is running around with a name that's a spelling variant on Lancelot's last name, and claims to be the son of Ban, Lancelot's father, but Jenkins' comment about "Dulaque" being "what he's calling himself now" implies that might be more dramatic symbolism on his part than anything.
I really want to know why the apple was in there to begin with. It didn't seem to be part of the Serpent Brotherhood's plan, since both Lamia and Dulaque looked really confused when they saw the "evil" Librarians. Did Drake know? Or was it just a bizarre coincidence?
I loved seeing the worst of themselves come out with the apple, and thought it was hilarious that Ezekiel was already the worst of himself so the apple had no affect on him! As usual love Christian Kane and can't wait to hear Stone's story. But Cassandra kicking Lamia's butt was a highlight too! Great episode! Can't wait for Sunday's new episode!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Jenkins/Dulaque was totally a thing, y/y? I am intrigued and wish to know more.
ReplyDeleteLOL, the evil versions of the Librarians were hilarious and I think Evil!Cassandra was my favorite. And aww at Jake helping her.
for me i thought they were siblings, i thought dulaque was going to say "travel well, brother" and yeah the chemistry between Stone and Cassandra is making it very hard for me not to ship them LOL
ReplyDeletewatched first 2 eps and i was intrigued.but i m gonna wait till tnt renews it mainly cuz of the genre change the channel is going through right now.

ReplyDeleteTumblr seems torn between brothers or former couple but we're mostly leaning towards couple right now.
ReplyDeleteI really DON'T need another ship damnit. Right now I have about a dozen of them! I'm shipped out! Stone and Cassandra need to stop being so shippy.
ReplyDeleteA "Eric B. and Rakim" quote (I get paid in full) from John Larroquette..........how do you not love this series (No Spoilers)! 4 THE LIBRARIANS CARD, I am Nobody!!!

ReplyDeletehey nobody long time no see, quick question how did Carlos end the season no spoilers though is he good and okay?
ReplyDeleteLOL and i think you feel like the show can stand on its own two feet right?
ReplyDeleteI think it has potential to stand on it's own if Flynn still plays a background part and comes back for every couple episodes to check up on the gang and be fun. ReplyDeleteyeah i think Flynn being on the show is sort of like having Fury or Lady Sif on SHIELD
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, Casandra surprised me.

ReplyDeleteWell, Jenkins said "whatever is we were" and that doesn't sound like something a brother says to another does it? So yeah, former couple for sure.

ReplyDeleteBy far the best episode yet, with a lot of unexpected twists. Christian Kane by far makes the show.
ReplyDeleteEvil Cassandra really impressed me! Christian Kane as Jacob Stone is still my favorite character of The Librarians. I absolutely loved his delivery of the line about appreciating art. Something I can watch over and over.
ReplyDeleteEvil Cassandra was a hoot! I loved how Jake knew her off button.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was the best episode yet.
ReplyDeleteEvil!Cassandra seemed very... cartoonish to me.
ReplyDeleteIt could end up being a lot of things, but a former couple would be interesting. I've been thinking they had to have been working together in the past, but the last episode made it clear that it was more than that... in one way or another ;-)
ReplyDeleteEvil versions were so funny. I hated the Christmas episode but this was really great.

ReplyDeleteWELL! Piron Alec turned into a psychopath and the future's still screwed up because of kellog right?
