This episode was the best so far. Bruce Campbell was amazing as Santa and had me laughing so hard. Christian Kane even had a small barroom brawl. John Kim was funny as the Christmas spirit overtook him when he wore Santas hat. Dean Devlin and John Rogers have really done a great job with The Librarians and I hope to be able to watch it for years to come.
When we watch some shows we are expected to accept certain premises. You would think that expecting us to believe in Santa would be beyond our adult senses. This was so well written that I was drawn right in and was pulling for Santa to succeed (with the help of the Librarians). I took part in the Twitter live chat and if that was any indication, everyone else felt the same way. Bruce Campbell was perfect for the part and added to the believe that a type of Santa does exist. The whole team has created a new holiday tradition and I hope that Santa may be in need next year. Not that I wish him ill will, but I want to see him call on the Librarians to help. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah to all!
I guffawed throughout the episode. Ezekiel spreading cheer was hysterical. And the sequence where Eve was spreading good will was unexpectedly touching. Very awesome episode. I also managed to bring a new viewer to the fold. I hope this one is around for a while.
Really like this show, was pleasantly surprise to see Bruce Campbell as Santa, that was hilarious. All the characters are starting to find their rhythm including Rebecca Romjin, who, for some reason doesn't quite fit in, and yet, perhaps that because it's written that way. She the anti-nerd. So, in a room full of nerds, she has to be the 'odd' one.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
