William and Mara were lovers who evidently crossed the void together to make 'mischief' on the 'other' (our) Earth. I bet William Shatner will play Mara/Audrey's father.
My questions are: if Charlotte (Mom) created the 'Bar(n) who/what was Agent Howard, where did they toss William into in the S4 finale (the void?). Why were 'Dave' and Jennifer brought 'here' by 'Agent Howard' as a babies? Where did 'Sarah's' (and Nathan's) dying/dead son disappear go when Nathan shot Agent Howard in the S3 finale and the Barn began to break apart?
More questions than answers at the moment. I sometimes feel like the show started with a several season plan and then had to expand the story as it renewed for more seasons.
Well, the actor who plays the son is scheduled to return in the second half of the season so at least that'll finally be answered (I've been waiting). And ooh, good guess on William Shatner playing Mara/Audrey's father.
Amazing episode. I'm gonna miss mara tho, she was a great character and played everyone so well. Haven was troubld before, now it's gonna be hell. Can you guys imagine everyone in the town with a deadly trouble?
Thanks, I didn't catch that spoiler about 'James' returning. The only spoilers I deliberately track are Supernatural which I repost on my home forum. Sometimes I catch other spoilers while scrolling for SPN ones. I wonder if Dave really killed James (the first time) and if so, why, and what purpose did Dave really serves. Dave honestly doesn't know, nor why the 'void' (or whatever 'it' was) in the S4 finale that William got tossed into and 'it' tried to pull Dave back several times. "It" looked 'hellish'.
Great theory! I don't go on any Haven fanboards but is there any 'theories' about how William (S4) got in 'Lexie's Bar(n)' in the first place? I always thought William was imprisoned in the 'hellish place' - that's what Mara implied in S4.
Yeah....I'm not sure they actually had a real answer in the beginning because a lot of things don't add up. But there are so many things that don't add up!
The 'hellish place' Mara referred to is probably the Barn. William was probably imprisoned there permanently, unlike Mara. William managed to get out from his prison when the Barn started to disintegrate. So William didn't really enter the Barn but was always there. Kind of like solitary confinement, while Mara was doing community service. That's my theory anyway.
That's a very reasonable theory. I got the impression they were in totally different places. I think my problem is regarding William's two henchmen - they were present in the Bar(n) but Nathan (or someone else) discovered they were made of 'void material' and 'Nathan' thought William 'made' them 'here' and therefore neither could be the 'fourth person' they needed in the S4 finale. This was before Dave came clean that he was from the 'other side'.
I'm not sure of several things. Agent Howard pocketed Audrey's book "Unstake my heart" in the series premiere, then it turned up (I think) in Howard's room and had the coordinates to the Barn. The original Audrey entered the Barn and had her memory erased and the Barn disappeared. Did the Barn goof? Or was Agent Howard prescient and knew that the book might be needed at some point if the real Audrey showed up? And then the book turned up again in Jennifer's 'biological parent's home - were Jennifer's parents part of the group tracking 1500's Mara and William down? Did the writers tweak the storyline and add Jennifer when they were assured at some point of an S4 renewal?
I'm pretty satisfied with how the show resolved the Mara character's storyline. She was a good, interesting character. I'm intrigued with Charlotte and the potential for storyline involving Mara/Audrey's other-wordly family. I hope she sticks around for a while. I wonder how long this hiatus will be, until the later half of this season. Kinda cheap of Syfy to do this super-long season, when it basically is another season in the later half. Still, I'm looking forward to Haven's return.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
They did more than kiss lol
ReplyDeleteLOL, so that does rule out my weird theory and I'm glad. I just couldn't remember because it's been so long.

Was it winter finale or series finale?
ReplyDeleteThanks! wasn't sure, have 2 or 3 episodes to watch, I decided to bundle half of this season - which isn't a smart idea.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the episode yet so if it's obvious this speculation is wrong sorry.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible that Audrey and Mara are sisters? Like they were separate people but got smushed into one?
i loved it..

ReplyDeleteI loved how Charlotte did not take in consideration Mara's fail safe plan for Duke.

ReplyDeleteI'm actually surprise that so many people are still alive in that town!

Dave's her dad lmao.
