Nick took away Adalind's powers. Couldn't he do the same for Juliet, when he finds out? Which I'm predicting will be at least a couple of episodes out.
DAMN IT WHY IS JULIETTE A HEXENBIEST!!!! she was supposed to be pregnant with a normal Grimm baby, it was finally time for them to have something good happen to them NOT THIS AAAAAARRRGHHHHH!!!!! whoa Wu is definitely not taking this easily, damn it why is this happening to Monroe and Rosalee they don't deserve this happening to them
What's the bid deal? Just drink some of Nick's blood and boom: back to normal. Seriously its either that simple and the show remains consistent with what its already positioned in which case this is trumped up drama for shock value or it makes up some reason to discard its previously established rules: in which case its still trumped up drama for shock value but this times hypocritical trumped up drama for shock value.
Wu: I don't think I can express how upset I am of how Nick and Hank are handling that situation. I realize that Nick is the one Hank looks up to but Hank needed to shake Nick about this, Hank wanted to tell Wu episodes ago and Nick prevented it. I hate how this is has blown so far out of proportion.
Nick: Nothing happened with him in this episode to have an opinion about. However, him quitting the force finally realizing that can be in the way was refreshing (that is not in this episode, I am referring to the trailer for the upcoming episode)
Hank: He needs to man up and blame Nick for allow Wu to become questioning his sanity. When is he going to grow some balls? He just follows Nick around like a whipped little puppy.
Monroe & Rosalie: Of course they can't have their happiness, I hate that all this is happening to them but they are finally getting a significant portion of the story lines.
Juliette: Looks like she is finally getting a storyline that doesn't include being the annoying girlfriend. I thought her getting Hexenbeast powers were a nice twist. I wonder if Adalinds mother knew that was going to happen... I have a feeling it's all part of a plan. Haha Juliette is so easy to get at.
I think a simple solution for this is not possible. It's a side effect of spell and Adalind is not even a natural-born Wesen, so this is more than just having to drink Nick's blood.
Adalind's powers and ability to woge may have gone away at the time because of his blood, but that doesn't make her any less of a Hexenbiest.
Awesome episode, why can't the good guys catch a break, I'm referring to Monroe and Rosealee, and Wu is not taking the news well it's to be expected he thought he was losing his mind for over a year, he had every right to be pissed at Nick and Hank, at least they're now trying to be fully commited to easing him in, and Juliette didn't see that coming, imagine the Grimm is now married to an Hexenbeast very interesting, Renard has his hands full, the Royals are coming!!!
I'm beginning to think that being Nick's girlfriend is not good for Juliette's health. For a normal person, this would probably be the last straw.....although I guess she isn't normal anymore.
How can Juliette's grandma knows about the Chupacabra? It is a latin american legend, not a spanish legend.
The twist on Juliette is cool, however I hope they fix this, I really like her the way she is. I can't wait to see Monroe kicks those bigot asses. Poor Wu :S
There I was dreading the obligatory 'pregnant' storyline for Juliette and the Grimm writers instead give us this truly wonderful surprise: Juliette is a Hexenbiest! Did not see that coming & boy am I jumping up with joy.
We can assume Juliet's Spanish side of the family have mingled with the Latino community long enough to be familiarized with legends in the Americas. That and the fact there were apparently reports 20 years ago of supposed "chupacabra" attacks on animal farms in Puerto Rico that was supposedly in the news.
My only problem with this episode is that NO ONE mentioned that giant red welt on that man's neck. Everyone I know, friends, co-workers, family...would be asking about it. Loved the doctor sacrificing himself for his wife. I did NOT expect that last scene with Juliette. Wu....I suppose a night in the drunk tank is better than a ride to the mental ward again. How is he going to file this situation. Will he be able to forgive Nick and Hank? Be able to work with them again? I am mightily curious to know.
My personal hope is that they keep Wu separate from the investigative circle. I don't want the Scooby Gang to just keep growing and growing and growing. I'd like to see Wu get his own place in this universe..a cop in the know but not looking at books; working the street.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Holy....I did not see that Juliette twist coming.
ReplyDeletewhat the twist and does wu know the truth
ReplyDeleteWu doesn't really know as he hasn't been given the whole what is a wessen and what grimms are. Juliette has become a hexenbiest.
ReplyDeleteNick took away Adalind's powers. Couldn't he do the same for Juliet, when he finds out? Which I'm predicting will be at least a couple of episodes out.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it'll be that easy though. Since I'm guessing the spell that gave Nick back his powers turned her.
ReplyDeleteI knew it, I knew she wasn't pregnant that she would get some hexenbiest powers.

ReplyDeleteWell... that was interesting.

La chubacabra...La chubacabra. ALALALALAAAAGH!

ReplyDeletecorrected.

ReplyDeleteWhat I thought was going to happen at the end of the last episode ended up happening at the end of this episode, Juliette is now Wesen.

Poor Wu :S
Juliette has never been annoying as girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!! OMG Juliette, what now. I love Monroe and Rosalee, best couple in the show
ReplyDeleteI don't mind this development as long as there's a good explanation for it. Spell or no spell, people can't just "become" Wesen.
ReplyDeleteIKR? I was thinking she was pregnant and I was SO happy for Nick and Juliette.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea. But it's a good twist and it makes sense. Kudos to the writers.
ReplyDeleteThere I was dreading the obligatory 'pregnant' storyline for Juliette and the Grimm writers instead give us this truly wonderful surprise: Juliette is a Hexenbiest! Did not see that coming & boy am I jumping up with joy.
ReplyDeleteThat would spoil the program.

ReplyDeleteJuliette can't go back till we have the ultimate Hexbenbiest showdown! the writers owe it to us lol
