First episode all season that I've really enjoyed. This was funny, and interesting and a good use of all characters. I liked Truble so I'm going to miss her. When Jeff started talking, I worried he would betray the gang. Im glad the resolution kept him good and Truble alive.
I'm getting really tied of the Wu stuff...Nick needs to tell him ASAP.
Well rounded episode. Loved Rosalee and Juliette staunchly defending Munroe's train- so funny. Will miss Trubel and hope she comes back soon -- probably coming back for a big story arc the second half of the season. Was pleasantly surprised at how well she fit in with the group and storylines. Not expecting Munroe and Juliette's honeymoon to go as planned - that vigilante group is nasty. Super entertaining episode. Love this show.
Cute episode. I think Wu will have to be told in the next episode; he's already been putting the pieces together since the Aswang attack. I think Renard supports Wu's being brought into the loop before Wu does something dangerous, but he (Renard) wants to be left out of the reveal at least for now.
The Aswang or the child wesen drawing? Aswangs are super creepy in Philippine mythology. One of the Supernatural tie-in books had an Aswang as the 'monster' - this one was after revenge though, although the 'Winchesters; and 'Bobby' found very similar lore as was used on Grimm (both Grimm show and SPN book roughly based on the Philippine lore.)
Excellent episode. Lots of fun with those little rascals. Kids will be kids, but when they get hormonal, watch out! Love when Juliette and Rosalee are together. Such great friends. So Juliette is pregnant! Hope she and Nick get married now. I'm a Juliette fan. I'll miss Theresa. I'm sure she and Josh will pop up in a later episode. What if they get serious?
really enjoyed the ep as it forwarded a lot of the stories with the Monroe/rosalee situation, as well as the Wu, and the future meeting of the mothers discussion, as well as the Juliette pregnancy.. It also added in some seasonal holiday fun with the cotw and gave us a new path and a temporary goodbye for Trubel who has become a fave. Loved the heartwarming thanks to Nick and the bunch for giving her a life again as well as a purpose, but I'm sure she'll be back soon...
Great episode, i think the best part for me was the end when trubel basically thanks him for showing her she is not alone anymore. Also I love does scenes in the episode when they make kinda jokes like when trubel smacks josh in the head, when Monroe says that now they know why the fruitcake exists and when Monroe makes the hansel and gretel reference in the church.
Great episode. LOL at the Wesen kids. I cracked up when they all scurried after Monroe voegled. They really looked so peaceful after turning back. And that fruitcake looked pretty gross. I will truly miss Trubel. I was really hoping she would become a regular, but I'm just grateful that she was not killed off. However, I liked that she left to help Josh,...so at least she won't be alone again. her scene at the end with Nick was touching. Hoping Juliette is not pregnant.
I'm sad Theresa is leaving but it is a good cause to protect her friend Josh. I loved how Juliet is pregnant. I loved how the council was forming to deal with Rosalee's and Monroe's marriage.
You are so right about Juliette and Rosalee's friendship. And the other great friendships and semi-friendships on the show also make it special. Nick and Munroe's terrific connection was such a wonderful creative concoction.
It was an awesome Christmas episode, although I'm still crying that Trubel is gone, I'm glad she went with Josh and not the FBI Wesen, didn't see that coming, are we getting ready to have a baby Grimm, Thank goodness Wu is on the way to finding out the truth about the crazy Grimm world., I thought the case of the week was very good,it was cute when Rosalee said the little gremlin guys would destroy Monroe's train over her dead body:)
Again an excellent episode...that's 2 on the trot. Season 4 is on fire! - First of all love the dynamic between Nick & Truble. It's more of a Grimm-Grimm dynamic than Master-Apprentice (afterall non can understand each others situation better than each other...cause nobody else is a grimm!). So it was sad to see Truble leave but it's not for ever cause I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing her soon what with the "key" business still being largely unresolves. - It was a weird yet satisfying case. Best moment was Nick & Hank buying the whole Fruit Cake truck! - Is Juliet pregnant? If so am I sufficiently invested enough to worry? - Wu is seriously gonna punch Nick or Hank soon... - It was hilarious to see Rosalee getting Juliet on board in defending Monroe's german train set with nutcrackers!
I was so scared they were going to hurt Monroe's train. Isn't it an antique? (I hope all that stuff is insured) Loved Juliette and Rosalee fighting to protect the train.
I liked that the COTW was solved with Fruitcake! (though I did get an ear full from my best friend who is first generation German American, about the fact that Stollen is NOT fruit cake. LOL (she doesn't read this board so I can LOL in safety.) Anyway, for the record stollen is more of a bread than a cake. Anyone know if the fruitcake seller was a real Portland business?
I think Trubel's investigative skills could do with a bit of training. She shouldn't have been stuck up on. I love the idea of her striking out on her own. She can continue to help clean up the Grimm reputation. I liked this exit much better than what I'd thought they were going to do (I'm referring to that FBI agent's group)
I'm dubious about the whole Juliette is pregnant thing. I might be okay if it has NOTHING to do with that darned spell...but ....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was a good episode OMG! Is Juliette pregnant sad Trubel leaving hope she come back love her character please already let Wu know

ReplyDeleteyeah LOL
ReplyDeleteyou mean serious as in "serious" or...? and yeah i just hope the baby is Juliette's genetically and Nick's
ReplyDeleteI agree. It was one of my favorites and one of the few worth rereading (I haven't gotten around to it yet).
ReplyDeletereally enjoyed the ep as it forwarded a lot of the stories with the Monroe/rosalee situation, as well as the Wu, and the future meeting of the mothers discussion, as well as the Juliette pregnancy.. ReplyDeletei mean i don't know isn't he a little too old for her and yeah i hope Nick and Juliette's child IS their child
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about Juliette and Rosalee's friendship. And the other great friendships and semi-friendships on the show also make it special. Nick and Munroe's terrific connection was such a wonderful creative concoction.

ReplyDeleteNo I loved how they were informed on by Trubel and Joe to Nick so he can do something about them.
ReplyDeleteAgain an excellent episode...that's 2 on the trot. Season 4 is on fire!

ReplyDeleteoh ok that was confusing LOL
