  1. It was awesome tomorrow's episode should be good as well.

  2. I LOVED IT. Every little bit of it. I KNEW the big reveal would have to do with Oliver's baby momma. So she's in Central City, huh? That's not gonna disappear forever now. Barry was an asshole but he gets a free pass for this one. Diggle was hilarious. Love that both Felicity and Oliver felt that something was off about Wells. Also, how the hell did he know Arrow was Oliver??? That deserves a damn good explanation and we got nothin'. Poor Barry, Iris will get over it. I keep going back and forth about how I feel about Eddie, it's never consistent. Not so good right now. My gushy self really enjoyed Oliver's romance non-pep talk with Barry near the end. Ah, well, they'll both get the girls eventually. Felicity isn't going far and Iris will get over Eddie in time. Psyched for tomorrow's episode. Still grinning right now. :D

  3. This was the best! And it was funny!! I laughed a lot!! Diggle's reaction was hilarious, and so was Iris's!! Haha! She was DROOLING over Oliver, "I made you a fresh pot so..." hahahah Sorry Iris that's Felicity's boo! And I loved my Olicity moment having coffee. "You're gonna hawk me until I say yes aren't you?" "I'm a hawker." Squeee so cute!!!

I absolutely loved Barry being bad!! I love Grant I do, he's a chameleon. Much better than playing Sebastian, imo. (Ftr I loved to hate Sebastian on Glee). When he was going off on OLIVER (I hate Ollie) and on his Captain! That was great. And OUCH!! To Caitlian. But it needed to be sad, b/c she's being sooo obvious. When she said to Felicity, "You're not here for Barry are you?" I rolled my eyes, like really? Glad, Felicity said, "Eww no. We realized that's not happening. Like ever." And Barry's, "I get it." Hahahaha

Oliver training Barry was so much fun!!! "You're gonna run over there come back at me and you're gonna get hit with an arrow." "Hahaha no I'm not." "Hahaha, yes you are." Lmaooo. Oliver's hilarious!! I love when he jokes, and Felicity it may be "Practically impossible." But it does happen. We all see it. And I love when he smiles....sighhh oh Oliver, I love you so. Lol Andddd guys like you DO get the girl!! Don't say that, you'll break my heart!!!

Wells is pissing me off!! When he asked Felicity about Oliver's identity I was pissed, but when he SAID IT OUT LOUD to the ENTIRE ROOM! I said wtf???? How did he find out so quickly?? And he let the whole room know?? That was F**ked up!!! We need to know what his deal is, b/c it's giving me a headache!! And I'm glad Oliver saw that something was off about him.

The Arrow/Flash moment was great, I smiled from ear to ear!! Ahhh my feels!!! "Still got some juice left?" "Maybe, but if I don't there's two of us right?" "Right." I LOVE IT!!!

Honorable mention to Diggle and Cisco argument of Who would win and the "fanfiction" line by Joe, or was it Eddie? Either way it was great, nice nod to the fans. And Cisco's reaction after the fight..."So...it was a tie." Hahahaha I LOL'D...that fight was awesome!! I know the writer's had a laugh about that.

Heatwave!!! This episode was so much fun. I'm so ready for tomorrow night!!

  4. Oh my god!! I cant vote awesome becuase that was beyond awesome, so I will settle for awesome but Awesome :)

Firestorm!!! Barry and Oliver were so cool. Felicty and Caitlin working together was great. Diggle was hilarious in his reaction to Barry's powers.

  5. Love it Oliver and Barry fight was best sequence I seen in awhile on tv we got a glimpse of Ronnie as Firestorm still can't read Wells is he good or bad or in gray area Diggle was funny but my opinion Oliver won the fight it wasn't a tie can't wait for Arrow tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  6. WOOOOOOOOOOOOW
I loved it! I loved it so much!
At first I thought I would be underwhelmed because I always am when the expectation is this high, but seriously the last fifteen minutes slayed.
Freaking Firestorm! I was not expecting that (kind of was because Robbie Amell spoiled on instagram, but whatever) sooo cool.
I felt an Avengers vibe to this episode, everyone had a minute to shine but there's no clear winner.
Felicity being friends with both Caitlin and Iris is really refreshing, this shows lack of female bonding.
Two things actually bothered me. First is Wells revealing the Arrow's identity (no one is going to ask how did he found out?) Second is Eddie organizing a task force. I get why the cops were after Oliver in Starling, he was a killer, but Barry's been pretty much harmless. They wanted to create some kind of animosity between him and Eddie and that was a lazy way to do it. But I'm probably nitpicking, I loved the episode and hopefully tomorrow will be even better!

  7. I have a feeling that olivers son will one day be kid flash.

  8. one word to describe this episode: EPIC.
    Diggle had me laughing.
Dr Wells for ever being shady and figuring out Oliver's secret.
    Felicity and Caitlin: TeamSmartWomen!
The Fight: my money was on Arrow winning. Arrow always wins!
Oliver's baby mama in Central City?! WHAT?!!! that was a surprise.
Ronnie showing up at the end of episode. Welcome to the show Firestorm.
This episode had everything. Action, Comedy, Drama, and Romance.
This episode gets an A++++ a cross the board. I cant wait until Arrow tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  9. Barry was an asshole because he was brainwashed so yeah he gets a pass lol

    ReplyDelete
  10. Loved it! It was so so good!

    ReplyDelete
  11. That was Ronnie Catilins fiancé that we saw in episode 3.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh, I don't know... Because i had to go get my sister from the university when Barry got to Eddie and Iris's car!

We were supose to see it together... Karma is a b**ch!

    ReplyDelete
  13. My only gripe is that we didn't get to see Barry and Oliver team up to get the bad guy but I guess we''ll see that in the next episode!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeah i just saw. I didn't get a good look. I had to go back and rewind it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. That was Firestorm not Heatwave

    ReplyDelete
  16. I sawww! Which hyped up my excitment even more!

    ReplyDelete
  17. BTW loved ur review

    ReplyDelete
  18. Iris fangirling Oliver Queen was priceless, my favorite scene in the entire episode! And that Olicity coffee date Shannon?????????? SO. FREAKING. MARRIED! They are trying to mess with our heads. I need this two stupids puppies to get together already!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Roy G Bivolow? XD
Visible color light spectrum anyone? ROY G BIV! XD
    R(ed) O(range) Y(ellow) G(reen) B(lue) I(ndigo) V(iolet)
    Apropos I guess! XD

    - The lessons Ollie attempted to teach Barry were spot on and I hope Barry listens and learns.
    - A task force to hunt the hero? How original! Such a superhero trope!
    - Even Ollie and Felicity can tell there is something off about Wells!
    - It is hard to tell when Ollie is joking.. Wait! Has he ever joked? XD

Other than the fight scenes between Arrow and Flash I thought this was an fairly awesome episode.. The usual awesome Arrow stunts lacked something in slow-mo to show Flash's super-speed... Still fun, but not as awe inspiring!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ikr??? As soon as it came back from commerical i said HUH??? Did i miss something??? Next thing we saw was Cisco saying, "Blah blah blah no prison can hold me, heard it all before pal." Hahahaha which was hilarious btw, but STILL i wanted to see that team up on capturing him.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Loved it! So excited for tomorrow night!! I was wondering about how Wells knew too but I had a feeling he'd ask Gideon (or whatever his computer's name is) when he told Felicity he'd find out. Also was excited to see the arc with Oliver's kid come into play (well, sort of). Hope they don't wait too long for that reveal because I'm so curious to see Oliver's reaction. As far as people not knowing she was in Central City, maybe I've just re-watched the old episodes too many times but Oliver DOES mention to his Mom that she went back to Central city to live with a cousin or something...(ok maybe I haven't seen them THAT many times since I'm not sure exactly what he said). Diggle's comic relief was great this episode and loved Oliver's patience with Barry (clearly having to train rage-y Roy prepared him lol). Should mention that am really psyched about the Caitlyn-Felicity friendship and hope we see more of that. And last but not least, Cisco's lines were once again, awesome :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Omg, i laughed sooo hard!! She could NOT stop smiling. Her face must've hurt. When she talked about her three people list, that was too funny!....And Olicity!!! I'm dyin for episode 9 of Arrow. It's gonna be soo good. Total coffee date. lol I think Oliver took a memo on how she likes her coffee. which is a plus.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I guess they didn't have time to show it in the episode but I don't think he would be a match for both Arrow and Flash lol. We'll probably see a team up in the next episode but yeah I was disappointed.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think the Stunt guys like doing Arrow far more than Flash. Flash would get a little too green screen after a while, whereas the more grounded nature of the Flash would mean a lot more props and complex stunts.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Awww, thank you! = ) Idk what i'll say tomorrow, but should be good. haha = p

    ReplyDelete
  26. I bet you're right!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Every single minute of this episode was awesome!

Barry and Oliver's interactions throughout the episode was so much fun. Loved that whole bit with Oliver training Barry! "What, you shot me?!" "I heard you heal fast." HA! And holy hell that final fight scene between them was absolutely INSANE. Team Arrow FTW!

Awww, Felicity and Caitlin bonding with one another. Loved that little moment between the two women :) And yay to Caitlin helping Felicity break down the DNA from Sara's murder! Also, "There's something off about that guy" Come on, even Oliver is becoming suspicious of Wells! And how in the hell did he find out that Oliver is the Arrow so fast?!

Diggle being absolutely amazed by Barry's powers were so great. "I have a cousin who got hit by lightning once. He just developed a stutter." Ohhh, Diggle. Never change you perfect human being XD Also, Oliver's baby momma returns! And her name is totally Sandra Hawke. Hopefully this means that the writers are building an arc that will contain Oliver finding out about his son, Connor, soon. I would love to see how they handle it.

And we have our first look at Firestorm!! Welcome back, Ronnie! Those special effects were so cool. Caitlin finding out that her husband is alive is going to be so emotionally heartbreaking.

Can't freaking wait for The Brave and the Bold tomorrow! Absolutely loving this crossover so damn much.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Its also one of the many reasons I like the Arrow show over the Flash. I prefer my 'comic book' shows less.. super powered. They have their place but I prefer it more Dark Knight less Superman.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh yeah definitely! He would go down! LOL I believe we'll definitely get a team up tomorrow. I'm going to be watching this over and over til 8pm tomorrow. lol Well after i'm done watching SPN now, and then New Girl. = p

    ReplyDelete
  30. I...didn't like it. I don't know why. Something about it just felt so forced to me. Like, they tried way too hard to pack it full of fanservice. Kind of bummed. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  31. one hour of pure entertainment. Flash vs Arrow showdown and Firestorm at the end were standouts. Cant wait for tomorrow's episode!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Exactly what I was insinuating. He's one my faves. I love his humor and nerd-adorable persona. But rage-fest Barry was most definitely not the Barry I've come to appreciate.

    ReplyDelete
  33. So how long untill they killed the mom and we have the second crossover event?

    ReplyDelete
  34. OMIGOD I'm so glad someone else noticed that!!! I didn't mention Roy G. Biv just in case I sounded insane, but that was crazy clever. :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Caitlin did say "Rainbow Raider" that grabbed my attention!

    ReplyDelete
  36. It was amazing!! When i first heard about the crossover i knew it was going to be good, and boy, it did exceeded my expectation! I love how the whole cast has a great chemistry and everything just fits perfectly..i can't wait for tomorrow!

Obs 1: I LOVED the flarrow fight scene! I will for sure watch again because it was all the levels of awesome

Obs 2: Wells was shady as usual...i think it was great how Oliver and Felicity felt that something was off about him

    Can't wait for tomorrow!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Cisco is my new favorite!! He gets all the good lines and as an actor his timing in delivering the funny one-liners is spot on!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. One complaint... Just one... Okay, maybe two: In the fight between them, Oliver should have connected more hits. When he punched Barry with his "cross bow-fist attack", Flash stumbled and Oliver had the chance to conect a few swings. Oliver is fast too.
The same on the moments before he chocked Barry. He should have hitted him a bit more. I get that the point was "Oliver hits were less quantity but more efective overall", but i would have love more stunts.

Then... A tie? Were was the tie? Oliver owned Barry... Experience won. He was more tactical and neutralized him. There was no freaking tie there. xD

    ReplyDelete
  39. Cisco is like the Felicity of Flash... Just like Caitlin is to Barry what Diggle is to Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Dude it's really hard to hit a pissed off guy with super speed.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That was fucking awesome. The fight (which Oliver won). The Felicity bra scene (sorry). The team-up. The Firestorm reveal. Connor Hawke teasing (worth any unknown child plot). Diggle's reaction to the Flash. Everything was so great. See Smallville that's how you combine superheroes. Sorry just had to say that. Can't wait for part 2.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I feel kinda bad for you. Sorry, it's just that was awesome for me.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oliver's son in the comics named Connor Hawke becomes the new green arrow not kid flash.

    ReplyDelete
  44. No. That's Wally West. He's the second Green Arrow (which I hope they flash forward to one day).

    ReplyDelete
  45. Future device probably. Plus honestly, it's really not that hard to figure out if you look hard enough.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I like him (even though he could be Zoom).

    ReplyDelete
  47. It was an awesome episode.
    - The use of "feels" and "fanfiction" in this episode. Barry and Iris definitely have Tumblr.
    - Iris fangirling over Oliver was hilarious. He's on her free pass list. Same, girl. *giggles*
-Oliver not even trying to argue with Felicity about helping Barry. Man knows when to pick his battles.
    - Captain Singh casually mentioning his boyfriend. Love the LGBT rep.
    - Diggle's reaction to Barry was everything.
    - Felicity shirt catching on fire. "Glad I didn't decide to go braless." I'm disappointed. :D
    - Whammed Barry was a dick but I kind of like dark Barry.
    - Called the Baby Mama reveal. I really don't want a kid on Arrow.
    - Also called Iris hating the Flash tho I didn't think this quickly. How long before Eddie sees Iris kissing the Flash and turns darkside? I call by the end of the season.
    - The fight was awesome. Oliver really held his own. It was a great sequence.
    - Felicity and Oliver sensing Wells creep factor. If Oliver sees it, why can't everyone else, he's usually so oblivious. Might have come in hand with Isabel, just saying.
    - Firestorm looks EPIC! I can't wait for Robbie to be reg on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Oliver contained him long enough to cure him and end the fight. If there was no cure it would have gone longer. None of them seriously hurt each other so I would say it's a tie.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well possibly never. Connor will train at the abbey. But we're getting our second crossover tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Really dumb question, is the three an actual thing?

    ReplyDelete
  51. This was awesome episode... Really great..
    - Iris fangirling over Oliver.. I feel you girl.. Those arms.
    - Diggle... I love you. You are precious.
    - It was great to see Oliver, Diggle and Felicity on a mission together being light and funny. Oliver/Felicity light scenes. Diggle being awesome. I miss them so bad.
    - It was different to see Arrow/Flash fight scene. It was not a tie. Oliver was in control all the time.
    - Douche bag Barry is really douchey.. GG is great.
    - Iris/Barry/Eddie thing is moving at such a predictable route it's annoying.
    - Three cheers to Caitlin for asking Barry to not ruin Iris's love life.
    - Harrison Wells outing Oliver to everyone on Flash. Not cool.. Felicity and Oliver both are suspicious of him now.
    - Felicity/Caitlin and Felicity/Iris friendship. How cool was that?
    - Captain Singh is gay. I like you more now.
    - Barry still needs to learn humility and know his limits. I don't think he has learned his lesson yet.
    - Firestorm looked great. Awesome special effects. But Amell tradition of awful wigs continues.
    - Baby Mama.. It was so obvious from the producers interview I don't think it shocked any one. Now I hope we don't see her for next two seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think he needs to learn anymore. Iris hates the Flash it's enough. I don't think humility is a problem anymore. And if it is Zoom in episode 9 gonna fix that.

    ReplyDelete
  53. That. Was. The S**T!🙋🙌😘
Tomorrow we get to do it again!

    ReplyDelete
  54. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
I may need a few hours to regain the ability to form sentences
    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

    ReplyDelete
  55. I had this issue too... I was expecting them both surprising the dude and taking him down together but got the jail scene. bummed about that.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I liked it too when Barry went off of on Caitlin. Her possessiveness over him is getting so obvious. I am glad Barry is noticing it. It needed to be said. But I also liked her telling Barry not to wreck Iris's love life.

Oliver's baby momma is Sandra Hawke from comics. His son is Connor Hawke.

    ReplyDelete
  57. BTW it was revealed last episode's GIDEON the computer program of Wells was voiced by the ever fabulous Morena Baccarin. How cool is that. I hope she plays Well's dead wife.

    ReplyDelete
  58. i can't believe Barry didn't apologize to Caitlin AAARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!, this episode was freaking awesomely insane WHOOO!!!!!!, Diggle was hilarious

    ReplyDelete
  59. I already knew everything else. I just forgot her name. Looked it up after my post. Thanks anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I don't have a problem with him having fun with his powers and even sassing and making fun of bad guys. But I feel there needs to be a more connection between him and STAR lab crew. Oliver and his relationships with Diggle and Felicity is what makes him human. Even though Barry has said multiple times Star lab guys helps him I don't feel that connection here. I think it is the case with all super powered heroes. They don't need much help from others. Also they need to make episodes where not only his growing powers are explored but he learns new life lessons. Give him an opportunity to make a tough choice. That's why I liked Going Rogue the best for Barry. Losing that guy made Barry question himself.

    ReplyDelete
  61. First of all, that was not a tie. One, because Flash dropped Arrow off a building and Arrow never went for a kill shot, and two, because Arrow had him injured and incapacitated at the end; if that hold had been a chokehold, Flash would've gone down. That was an Arrow win, no question.

Anyway, geekiness aside, so much to love. Dig's reaction was hilarious - I guess there has to be a breaking point for everybody, and Dig just found his. "My cousin got hit by lightening. He just developed a stutter," is just the best line, especially with Dig's facial expression. I always love seeing all the geniuses in the same room, so more of that in the second episode, please. I also like the Oliver's methods kinda got the thumb's up here, since the next episode will be examining those more in depth. So many little twists, from Oliver's baby momma to Robbie showing up again that'll pay off later, were just so great to see. Although the baby momma plot makes me nervous. I mean, people think Oliver getting together with Felicity or Laurel will be distracting, wait until there's a kid around. And, indulging my inner shipper, I loved that Felicity was the one who pushed Oliver into helping, because cute. But Oliver's advice to Barry made me all kinds of mad. I don't even like Iris with Barry all that much - they've got a good dynamic, but it's too brother/sister for me to ship them, really - but Oliver putting his issues on other people is frustrating. The only reason you don't have Felicity is because you're an idiot, Oliver. Don't give Barry your issues, okay? He spent a whole episode in an induced rage, but you gave him real pain and anger that a light show can't fix; and while I think Barry needs to get more serious eventually, we really don't need another broody, angry hero. We have Oliver for that, and great as he is, one of him is enough. I did like seeing Barry show off a darker side, though, since he needs to balance that boy scout personality occasionally. Still a little mad he called Oliver "Ollie," though.

Eddie's story might get more interesting now that he's heading the anti-Flash task force. Remains to be seen, but it has promise, especially if he becomes actual friends with Barry in the meantime. Of course, Lance was more fun once he started working with the Arrow instead of against him, and we already have Joe for that. So.

And finally, it's great that both Felicity and Oliver realized how hinky Wells is, but somebody on Flash needs to as well, and not in the passing way Joe did. I need a full-on realization that Wells is off by somebody on Flash by mid-season, because with a lab full of geniuses, somebody should notice this guy is suspicious. This isn't Ward doing deep cover here; Wells is not exactly subtle. I don't want the characters to start seeming stupid or oblivious, especially as two of team Arrow spotted the signs after a very short time with him.

Can't wait until tomorrow night. I love how good this was, and seeing the Flash team in the darker Starling should be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  62. It was a fun episode but it all just felt so pointless. All the hype about the crossover and nothing important happened. It was fluff and I guess that is what bothers me the most.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Cool Episode. Loved the interactions, though it was a bit jarring at times to see Arrow interacting with super-powered Flash. Also, thank GOD someone told Barry to get over Iris. Dude, you're friend zoned for LIFE. The fact that she didn't get remotely jealous during Felicity's first appearance should have been a sign that she's just not that into him. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Character wise it was big for Barry and his relationships. And the Firestorm bit was huge. But it's a crossover episode right before two mid-season finales, nothing big really was supposed to happen to either show's plot. It was meant to be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  65. well Wells is from the future

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well they are his first friends in a while. So he has an emotional connection. But I gotta say you're jumping the gun a lot on The Flash, it's eight episodes in, it took Arrow around 16 at least to form the Team's bonds at all. Of course, he's a superhero beyond lab work and occasionally saving him from villains (Captain Cold) they can't do much.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Plus he's bonded both with Caitlin and Cisco emotionally. And again they have helped quite a bit so far.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'd help you regain something, but i'm actually about to collapse. Have a very bad cold, it's a quarter to 3, and i have to be at work tomorrow. Ugh! Do you know how hard it is for an insomniac, who can't breathe, to fall asleep??? = ( Form words tomorrow. lol Or just put it in one word for now as a "preview" to your comment. Ok, that's all the advice i have. Shannon out!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I thought a good deal happened honestly.
    - Wells figured out Arrow's identity and told Cisco/ Caitlin.
    - Ollie saw his ex/ baby momma.
    - There is now a task force hunting The Flash.
    - Iris is no longer Flash fan #1.

Nothing necessarily momentous at first glance I agree, but each of those smaller events can lead to important things down the road.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm not sure the dynamic between Barry and Star Labs will ever be like the one between Ollie and his team. Ollie lost his humanity on the island and in Hong Kong (and wherever else he was), Diggle and Felicity helped him regain his humanity.

Barry never had that type of crucible event... or lost his humanity. His team can certainly help him in a lot of ways, but I don't think it will ever be the same dynamic as Team Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  71. AWWW I'm sorry to hear that, take better care of yourself (I'm the one to talk I get sick all the time lol)

"Do you know how hard it is for an insomniac, who can't breathe, to fall asleep???" Oh boy you really are sick if you're asking ME that question lol I slept for 3 hours last night, trust me I know how hard it is to fall asleep with and without the ability to breathe haha

Since I'm up anyways I'll try to write my comment.

    ReplyDelete
  72. This episode was awesome as expected. What Oliver said about speed preparation is true, he has the time! The fight was nice too.

As expected from Cops they will eventually form a "task force". Again led by a man close to the girl the hero likes lol. But as its expected, and with many outcomes know, I'm not too worried at all.
    - for a second when Wells and Joe were talking about the Arrow in the beginning, I thought he said "what Batman does is carry out a dark reckoning for his city..." I was like wtf did they just? but then in context it was "that man" aka Arrow. sad.

Iris losing hope so easily damn you only believe in the good? who does the good face each time he is saving people, the bad, can't the bad effect the good once in a while.

But I guess this too is a set up to keep Barry away from her for a while, and better embrace his destiny.

It's all beginning. I liked the how Sandra surprised Oliver. Oh! Connor Hawke!

    And Oh! Firestorm!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thoughts what I said to myself, when he said he will find out on his own. Strolls to future looking room, cheats and ask the computer lol.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have 3 trees on my property.
I once saw 3 trees plus more on a mountain.
I wish I could carry 3 trees on my back
    Those trees?

    ReplyDelete
  75. loved it. I enjoyed the dialog moments the funny ones but especially the quiet once.

    ReplyDelete
  76. my friends used to "play" that game only with 5. I remember a panel video, a fan mentiones to SA heewas on the list of three, but there are actually only two on it the other one beeing Chaning Tatum and SA is higher on the list than Chaning. Maybe this was a nod to that....

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ha I think I catched a nod to Marvel: When Barry goes off to catch Bivolo on his own, the address is 168 Jarvis - is Jarvis not Iron Mans computer?

    ReplyDelete
  78. I am not the only one. I heard Batman too. Had to rewind 3 times to make sure what Wells said.

    ReplyDelete
  79. While I was writing the comment I realized I am jumping the gun. Lol. Flash is a very young show. There is a lot of time for relationships to develop. Also being super powered he does not need a get away car or some one to watch his back. I realized I am more of a fan of non powered heroes :)

I just rewatched past few episodes and I realized my issue with Barry is a mix of his cocky nature and how he is dealing with Iris. This is the exact same shit they did with Oliver and Laurel in season 1. Laurel was enamored with Arrow until she saw him trying to kill the guy in prison. Now almost same thing with Iris. At least Oliver had an excuse for being in an island for 5 years. Barry knowingly coming between Eddie and Iris was just urgh... They should have kept Iris single.. I like Iris and want her with Barry but not this way..

    ReplyDelete
  80. Also Barry does not need much help. Except to get locations of the bad guys.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I don't get romantic vibes from Caitlin for Barry. I get more of a controlling vibe. She worries and she is scared he will die. Like Barry said she is transferring her feelings for Ronnie to him. It's weird.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oliver and Felicity through out this episode acted Married. Coffee date, good bye scene at Star labs, coffee at Jitters.... They were adorable and I don't even like Olicity much.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Haha Koky you pointed things out I also noticed. Of course I saw the step Oliver did towards Felicity when Iris aproaches him. My favorite scene was when Felicity "convinces" Oliver to help Barry and her "translating" Olivers speech.

Caitlin probably knows about Canary from 104.

For me it was no surprise that Wells could figure out who the Arrow is. First he has that super computer in his back yard and he is super intelligent. As soon as you know Felicity is involved with the Arrow for someone like Wells it is a given to find out. He just has to trace her career and public appeareance with Oliver and the changed tactics of the Arrow and connect that the Arrow at some point starts to get help from an IT specialist. Quentin just does not want to see the connection.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Hopefully that angst is going to end this season. I love those light scenes!

    ReplyDelete
  85. So adorable! It was nice to get away from all the angst from previous episodes, but apparently 3x09 is going to be painful.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Felicitys top comes off, scene of the week + 1

  87. Kid Flash = Wally West, Iris's Nephew.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Great episode. From Barry's smile when Oliver showed up and arrowed the guy, to coffee shop goodbyes, just fun from start to finish. I love these guys all together. Sometimes I worry that the Arrow Cave is getting crowded, but this crossover reminds me that it isn't that Team Arrow can't take on new members, it's that some of the new members they've added just suck. Barry is awesome, Roy is lame. Which brings me to my first joy:

    * Cisco finally feels like a real character. He was geeky and quippy and he had a nice tech-y role on the team. But they did employ the magic bonding-time-with-Felicity formula and then throw on some Diggle time for good measure. I am dying for Caitlin to feels less stilted. I am actually gonna have to blame the acting at some point, because she is really high school drama club--still.
    * Lots of good one liners
    * Team Arrow as a well-oiled archery machine (and even if it didn't make sense timeline-wise, Oliver and Felicity working well together)
    * The training scenes and the discussion of methods and all the hidden anger stuff was great. I really like Wells as a complex villain and at the end when Oliver was saying why people shouldn't know and they totally focused on Wells, I'm hoping for a big tie together down the line
    But...
    * I liked the fight, but Oliver really should have connected more. Like 2 episodes ago, Barry was getting beat up by the stuttering robot Cisco built. But whatever, it played better. (I agree with lots of other posters, not sure Cisco was appropriately using the word "tie.")
    * I am absolutely fed up with the writers explicitly telling us every episode that Barry loves Iris. Really? You don't SAY. Please stop doing this. I will say Oliver was wrong to say Barry can't get the girl (heck Ollie could have had the girl, he chose to close himself off). But regardless, I'm completely uninvested in Barry getting Iris. The girl is lame. And the list of 3? Wasn't there something at Comic Con where someone asked Stephen about it, and he was like "there are kids here" totally not amused (can't blame him). Poor Barry.
    * If Felicity being carried loses her shirt (nonsense), how is it that Oliver gets dragged along the street and nothing bad happens to his clothes?

Ready and waiting for part 2. I still would like to have this every week though. The casts go so well together. Like don't you kinda want Lance and Joe to have a chat about vigilantes and protecting headstrong daughters?

    ReplyDelete
  89. I don't know how Arrow can top that episode, but I have faith they can.
Great all around episode. Team Flash all played their parts perfectly, the set up to making iris not want The Flash to see her anymore worked so naturally, it was perfect.
Seeing Harrison shock Felicity when he tells her he knows the Arrow is Oliver Queen in his own way was fun. All the pieces fell into place well from their side.
From Team Arrow, only downfall of the great episode was, they just went with the "big 3". No Quentin or Roy or Laurel moments mixed in. Felt a bit like a pre-season hockey game where a team only brings part of their roster. I suspect The Flash guest spots on Arrow will be similar, but still a tad disappointing.
Lastly, clever of the writing to introduce Olivers ex into The Flash storyline, but not show us any sign of Connor yet. I thought we wouldn't hear or see a reference to him for at least another season... didn't take into account Olivers foray into Central City could see him cross paths.
Already watched the episode twice. Resisting the urge to see it a 3rd time.

  90. Did Singh really said his boyfriend? I'm not an English Native speaker so I might have misunderstood that.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I totally forgot to mention how much fun it was to see Team Arrow out in the daylight.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Have to agree with Cailtin there, I think I am having trouble with her acting but it still is the beginning. Cisco has been my favorite character on the Flasch since 104. That has nothing to do with Felicity but with the fact they showed some depth to him. Also they showed how Cisco feels about lokcing down Ronnie. TBH I enjoyed the Arrow and the Corssover scenes the most, but I am more on team Arrow so I am biasd.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Can I just say how happy I am that you read the whole comment and actually liked it? Thank you :D

All the Olicity scenes were like a gift from the writers to the fans to apologize for what they are doing to us lol

I don't think Felicity would mention the Canary to anyone let alone mentioning that she was murdered. I don't know, something was off about that scene, it needed more background,

Yeah We know about the future computer but they don't, so why didn't anyone ask how he found out? It's obvious if anyone paid attention that Oliver is the Arrow since he is associated with Felicity a lot but still just like the Canary thing it kind of came out of nowhere and no one questioned it.

    ReplyDelete
  94. there is that theory going around he could be one of the time travelers from the comics. I like that one.

    ReplyDelete
  95. No he said That man.. not Batman. I heard it Batman first I had to rewind and listen again.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Sounds like Batman but I think he says is "what that man does".

    ReplyDelete
  97. it was a pleasure, I don't always have time but when I do I love to share my excitment with you guys ;-) And that's when I grudgingly have to admit to myself beeing an Olicity shipper...
Well I just leave it at that with Wells, everybody as awed at his intelligence and they did not have time to get into more questions. If beeing nit picky, yep Caitlin understanding about Canarys murder was the biggest "huh? where did that come from?" for me too.

    ReplyDelete
  98. High school drama club is exactly right when it comes to Caitlin. She needs a little bit more range. Felicity's shirt being on fire even though a nonsense maybe it happens only when Flash runs long distance. Like in episode 1 his shirt burned when he ran to Starling City. Iris's clothes are fine when Barry carries her to the roof and back. I think it is a distance thing.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Yeah, I was hoping for a while that she just didn't have enough character to know how to be "Caitlin" but there's got to be enough by now (or she should have made it up). I really hope she figures it out soon.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I think it's an absurd comic book thing. :-) They wanted the joke with Felicity. Trying to make sense of it beyond that is impossible, it doesn't make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I am laughing so hard at comments if Oliver is always so depressing.
Oh honey what you saw on Flash is an upbeat & happy Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I read it ... I read the whole thing. It was fun.. I didn't mind Eddie's journey. Yes it was fast but at least he got something else to do than being the cute boyfriend and tailing Joe. I was surprised by the casual name drop of canary. Felicity should have said our friend died in mysterious circumstances recently which we cannot discuss. How horrible was Robbie's wig though. Amell tradition at its best. Oliver and Felicity scenes were gold this episode. I felt happy and sad seeing the trio together this episode. Happy I got to see that, sad it is going to be over next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I hate it when Felicity cries. :(

    ReplyDelete
  104. This was Olicity at its best. They became fan favorites because they were the least complicated and angst free relationship. Their chemistry is through the roof. Like you said they should have shown some light scenes like this first for 2 or 3 episodes at the beginning of the season and then the disastrous date. But what's done is done.. I am just glad they are more on the friendly terms even after episode 7. I hope by the end of this season the angst will end and they will return to their playful self.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I hate when both of them cry! Ugh at Oliver watching Felicity kissing Ray... I wanted to throw something in my fern after that. I'm enjoying this season a lot, but is really heavy with the angst.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm excited about 3x09, not so excited about the hiatus and probably Oliver being gone for some episodes when we return. =(

    ReplyDelete
  107. The Arrow fandom are the best, aren't they? :D

Joe suspected him but he quickly changed his mind and so did Barry, they need to explore this more.

Right??? It was so random. But I'll give the writers a pass because I loved the episode so much lol

    ReplyDelete
  108. I don't even want Olicity scenes. I miss team Arrow scenes where it looked like they are enjoying fighting crime and figuring out stuff. This Flash episode showed how much I miss that dynamic and how much Roy is still an outsider on the team. Barry has more of a raport with Diggle than Roy.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I do. She's projecting way too much. I didn't see it til last week. When it was smack dab in my face.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Agreed, but to be fair, no one's ever excited about a hiatus.

    ReplyDelete
  111. AWWW thanks baby :D

Yeah Eddie finally has something to do besides being "Pretty Boy" and girls admiring him and boys getting jealous of him and being Joe's oblivious partner but still it needed to happen gradually not in one episode, baam the Flash is real, Iris likes him, I'm jealous, he is dangerous, I have to arrest him, Barry attacks them, Eddie is proven right, Iris agrees with Eddie and "breaks up" with the Flash, it was all just a little too much.

Exactly! and how does she even know the Canary? is Sara known to the public as the Canary? she was referred to as the Canary once and she left town afterwards!

The wig was terrible, those Amell boys are cursed apparently hahaha

The whole Team Arrow scenes were precious, I miss them a lot this season, they don't have enough scenes (hardly any) and when they do it's not the same :( and if Oliver is "missing" for a few episodes then it's going to get worse, so I'm going to savor those scenes to sustain me lol

    ReplyDelete
  112. It would've been cool. I know Wally west is kid flash

    ReplyDelete
  113. I know but it would be cool for Oliver's son to be kid flash because he lives in central city not starling city

    ReplyDelete
  114. When Joe thanks the Arrow my first that, so when are you going to be a pro baseball player ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  115. I know his son will probably be the second arrow

    ReplyDelete
  116. Sometimes I feel like that too, they made me wish that they never went to that date if it meant we can keep getting those cute scenes. But then I feel Olicity guilt and I remember that it will be worth it I just have to power through the pain because it's TV and it can't be all lovey dovey lol and I would never wish for the scenes from 301 to go away :D

    ReplyDelete
  117. I love you, but that was too much. Too much of your "goodness"" seeped through, i got turned off and since I'm sick, I just don't have the patience. (Seriously I'm croacking here your evil twin is about to dispense) Luv ya though. And I'm truly happy that you loved the episode. I'm guessing b/c I couldn't get passed your first paragraph with Barry and Oliver. Lol xoxoxoxo

    ReplyDelete
  118. It was long, but it felt short.

I tought the episode was cut earlier. Not showing them getting Prism was kinda "meh" and both episode are gonna feel disconected to some extent. I still think they should have done a 2 hour episode and have episode 8 being the same for both shows on the dvds.

Eddie wanting a Task Force from the begining was unnecesary and a bad use of screen-time. They should have put that scene after the car incident. It felt out of nowhere.

Team Flash: I like them. Cisco is the comic relief in the comedy show(if that makes sense), he's like a version of Felicity on The Flash. I still think the fight wasn't a tie, Oliver won.
I have my problems with Caitlin and the fandom. She is for Barry what Diggle is for Oliver, but because she is a woman, the fandom turns everything she says into non-existant romantic tension: The thing about Iris wasn't a jealous comment but a good advice, one if given by a male would be taken diferently. People seems to forget about "context" when it comes to SnowBarry: she lost the love of her life(who is actually alive) ten months ago, still wears her wedding ring, still has photos of him everywhere... everything she says to Barry is because of Ronnie(like he said to her) because when he "died", he was also trying to be a hero. She gives him the type of advice Dig gives to Oliver.
Wells, i have problems with Cisco and Caitlin and Barry and Joe for not realizing how shady that guy is. It way to obvious! I guess he finds out Oliver's identity with his future digital wifey? Don't remember her name... I think he will die on the Finale and Season 2 will be about Barry, Cisco and Caitlin trying to figure it out how to do their thing on their own. Felicity and Caitlin seems to be really good friends. They seem to talk about everything: That's why she knew who The Canary was and why she reprehends Felicity when she thinks she's there for Barry.

Team Arrow: Dig... What can one say about him? He was absolutely amazing! The reaction was hilarious. David Ramsey knows how to do comedy and play with expresions. The Olicity scenes... They were married and while people may argue that came out of nowhere(they weren't flirting on Arrow, given what transpire there) remember one of the points of that was to draw audience for The Flash to Arrow. You don't do that by showing the main couple at odds, you do that by showing they at their best so that people go "they're adorable!". Oliver's statement at the end to Barry "We don't get the girl" was a clear tip to The Flash audience that said "this is the main couple of Arrow". You and i, because we watch Arrow, we have the context of episode 3x07, but for those who doesn't, it was pretty much a stand-alone episode to showcase the characters.

Iris' comments about Oliver were pure gold! And Felicity hiding her smile behind the mug Jajajaaja I hope Iris finds out the secret soon, tbh.

It's gonna be funny to see if they managed to translate some audience from The Flash to Arrow when 3x09 airs.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Hahahaha, it's happened before. Not a lot but it's happened. That's nothing new.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Juliana and I were talking about Arrow not Flash, but ok.

    ReplyDelete
  121. My "goodness"? Seriously? I didn't know that I had a "goodness"! AND it turned you off and made you stop reading? WOW! You know what? When you feel better you and I are gonna have some words lol and by the way my "goodness" is a part of my charm :P so you know you love it lol but just out of curiosity what turned you off?

Yeah I loved the episode and if you read the comment you would've confirmed that :P
Love you too my evil twin lol... Feel better

    ReplyDelete
  122. Of course, Wells could have simply put it together..... it's not like Oliver was keeping his presence in Central City a secret and was seen in public with Felicity and Barry... no future knowledge really needed, just had to put 2 and 2 together.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I don't think Wells is Zoom... there's a few other time travelers he could be (bad or good... with a strong "ends justify the means" mentality) or he could be a new character.

I think it's more likely Eddie will become Zoom given his growing dislike/hatred and jealousy of the Flash - given his surname it fits. And he (or at least his future self) would be in a position to know that Joe was looking into the death of Barry's mother.

    ReplyDelete
  124. "It was long, but it felt short." I'm hoping that's because it was so entertaining you and were enjoying it so much so it felt short, if not don't tell me lol

I agree about Eddie, it felt rushed and unnessecry, Barry never harmed anyone so why treat him like a criminal? Oliver sure he was a killer but what did Barry do? even Oliver is treated as hero now, so yeah, not a fan of that storyline but maybe they did it since Eddie is supposed to be a villain!

Team Flash: I understand what you mean about Cisco, he IS the comic relief of the show. I don't understand Snowbarry really, I don't see the chemistry and it's weird that people started shipping them even before the show aired!! I wouldn't say she is Diggle, she doesn't bring the wisdom and the backup that Dig brings to the team BUT she is important in her own way and I agree when she calls out Barry on his obsession with Iris it's not because of jealousy and she has a point every time! Plus I don't think she treats him like Ronnie, just because she worries about him and takes care of him, that just means that she is a caring person and she doesn't want to lose someone else she cares about, and I don't mean care in a romantic way, I'm sure that she'd worry just the same if it was Cisco or Wells or even Felicity.

The more annoying thing about Wells is that they see his shadiness but after just a few words from him they shrug it off and go back to thinking that he is a hero!

Caitlin and Felicity are friends but I'm sure they didn't have time to talk with everything that was happening with Captain Cold and Team Flash and I doubt that they kept in touch. Anyway I'll try not to focus too much on this because I don't want to spoil the episode and since I think it's the reason they will go to Starling today, so let's just go with it lol

Team Arrow: I'll say it again DR is a treasure, did you see the way he was looking at the direction Barry left with Felicity while his body was moving? priceless lol all his scenes were pure gold :D
I agree that Oliver and Felicity shouldn't be that adorable after 307 and that they were drawing Flash viewers to Arrow using Arrow's best weapons, Team Arrow awesomeness and Olicity cuteness and Oliver kicking a** and I think that will be the case tonight as well but I don't care I enjoyed it so much lol and maybe Oliver realized that he doesn't want to lose Felicity so he is not pushing her as much anymore?

Iris's interaction with Oliver and Felicity was super cute and I'm glad that she and Felicity are friends too. I want her to find out the secret soon too but I don't see that happening before at least the finale.

I hope so, that episode is going to destroy us with awesomeness lol

Another long comment! what's wrong with me today? The ironic part is that I'm sooooooo quiet in real life lol

    ReplyDelete
  125. Best episode yet...and best hero-team/up ever. Marvel Agent's of Shield should take note...THIS is how it is done!!!

    ReplyDelete
  126. I still think Wells is a future version of Barry...and Zoom is Eddie...look at Reverse Flash comic-book info and they pretty much have the same secret ID.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Really? People are complaining that Oliver was depressing? hahahahahaha
They ave no idea that that's the happiest he's been in a very long time lol we are celebrating and making collages of gifs of smiling Oliver, which is both funny and sad tnh
Do you even remember the last time Oliver was happy? Yeah me neither lol

    ReplyDelete
  128. Oh wow I've would've never figured out he was gay. He said so casually too.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Haha yeah. It was the you not liking what Barry said part.

I skipped to the end and saw that you did. Lol see....I care. Lol. Thanks. ; )

    ReplyDelete
  130. I've wondered if Wells is future-Barry too...
The name is an obvious indication of being a time traveler, but the disappearance of The Flash might be a clue as well. Maybe in the future one of The Flash's villains sent him back in time?

He could have taken on the Harrison Wells identity to be close to the Flash. Maybe he needs Barry's powers to go forward in time. I know Superman can go back in time by flying around the Earth like in one of the movies.... Can Barry run that fast in the comics?

Not sure if any villains or plots are similar to stories in the comics.... Maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  131. Awesome episode as always! I hope Part 2 to be a perfect Arrow episode! Professor Zoom is probably my favorite villain in the DC universe so I hope it's him next week!

    ReplyDelete
  132. I loved it. The Flash is a little lighter than Arrow and it was nice to see Oliver, Diggle and Felicity in that environment. Felicity fits in so well on this show, I hope she crosses over more often.
Barry was even more fun across from Oliver.
Can anybody tell me something about the girl in the cafe in the end (talking to Oliver)? Should I remember her from the past seasons?

    ReplyDelete
  133. She was the girl Oliver impregnated before he went missing on the island. His mother offered her money for an abortion which she did not do apparently... So we will meet Oliver's child eventually - in the comics he has a son....

    ReplyDelete
  134. She is Oliver's ex-girlfriend who was pregnant. Moira paid her off to leave Starling City and never return. Now Ollie saw her in Central City and it appears she has a young child....

    Short answer: Oliver's baby's mom.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I forgot her face, too ...just the story about Oliver's son was one of the big things for this season ... If I remember the spoilers correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Well of course I didn't like it he hurt mt baby's feelings :\ and if it was Oliver saying those things to Barry I would be upset too, mmmm that's what you eant by goodness right? I'm way too nice lol I see it now, whatever, I REGRET NOTHING lol

    Sure you do lol

    ReplyDelete
  137. Sandra Hawke and her son is Connor Hawke AKA the next Green Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Sandra Hawke doesn't die and she is pretty important in Connors life.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Actually no she didn't. His mother offered her money to have the child and raise him away from Oliver. I was a bit surprised about that but above all else Moira loved her family and that child is part of her.

    ReplyDelete
  140. And her son is Connor Hawke AKA the future Green Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  141. thank yu. I read the wiki after your comment. What a sad story tbh. at the end they never have a good father/son relationship D:

    ReplyDelete
  142. I loved it! There was just so much to enjoy.
Surprised by the addition of Oliver's ex in central city! Didn't see that coming and thought it was really well played

    ReplyDelete
  143. loved it. enjoyed the way Oliver chose to make his point about Barry dashing in without thinking first (a behavior that is very much in line with Barry's youth and experience.). i had been worried by comments to one of the sneak peeks -was unable to watch- but found the reason for Barry being out of controlled well handled. Tickled me that Barry himself was listed as a reason for Iris to stay away from the Flash. heartbreaking way for Oliver's point to be made. what future point did the Doc have to check to find out about Oliver. "Something's off about that guy."

    ReplyDelete
  144. two more thing I noticed:
they did not explain how Bivolo got his powers, I was very looking forward to the "scientific" explenation and: face recognition works on Barrys mask!?!

    ReplyDelete
  145. that is a very flashy explenation ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  146. yeah cause she seems one of the most promising characters with exception of Wells.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Awesome episode, with so many great and funny moments. Kudos to the writers! I'm not a huge fan of crossover episodes, but this is definitely one instance in which it worked perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Hahahahaha too cute. = p

    ReplyDelete
  149. Didn't say it was "new." He isn't Angel. Said I enjoyed it. Smiling Oliver in the sunshine is a rare occurrence and it was fun.

    ReplyDelete
  150. And I didn't say he was an "Angel." Nor did i say, that you said it was new. I just said that it's happened before, again, NOT a lot, but it's happened. As for you thinking it was "fun" yeah it was.

    ReplyDelete
  151. No, I said he isn't Angel. To make the point that it wasn't some big major plot point that they went out into the sunshine. You said "that's nothing new" and have an entire comment to make the point that this isn't something that was rare enough to warrant commenting. I thought it was, I thought it was a nice change of pace, 'cause yeah, I thought it was "fun."

    ReplyDelete
  152. W/e your making it a lot more than it was. I laughed about your excitment said it's nothing new (which it wasn't) I wasn't trying to say anything else more than that. But you seemed to have taken it that way, why, idk. Again, him in "sunlight" is rare. and it does happen. If you enjoyed it, then again, i agreed with you that it was "fun". BUT imo, I wouldn't call it a "change of pace." B/c it's happened like 5 times since this season started.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I'm not arguing about this anymore. I'm not sure why you are being so aggressive about a comment on being happy people were in the sunlight with snarky comments like "that's not new" and putting quotes around words like "fun." I'm not sure what you want me to back off of. They were in the sun. I liked it. I've not said it meant anything more than that, so the only reversal I can make would be to say they weren't in the sun, which isn't factually true, so I'm not going to do that.

They were in the daylight. I liked it. We're done here.
