Hands down that final scene with Skye, Raina, and Triplett in the chambers of the tunnel and we Skye transforming and resulting with having immense power. I have been waiting for this moment since they teased the Inhumans arc and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Also, I kinda teared up a bit I'm not gonna lie :')
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to lie, that whole episode was incredibly satisfying. Esp. when Skye shot Ward. I could be greedy and want for more FitzSimmons, but I have a feeling we will see lots of them second half of the season, great set up, so I'm cool. Loved the whole thing! But that ending, WOW. I am a bit heartbroken for Tripp. It won't be the same without his smile. Can't wait until March, but super excited for Agent Carter, the time is going to fly by! I'm so glad they split the season like this.
ReplyDeleteThat music was amazing. Bear McCreary is the best.
ReplyDeleteScene with Skye, Raina and Trip - that was so beautiful, the music, the sadness in Skye's eyes when she saw Trip is dying, and the moment when she exploded... epic
ReplyDeleteThe terrigenesis was so beautiful even though trip died he had the most heroic death ever on the show even though his character didn't have much to do this season this onew scene will be glued in our minds for ever!
ReplyDeleteAmen on not enough Fitzsimmons but this probably wasn't the episode for that although the little we got was beautiful the looks trip was giving them when they were talking aww now I miss him even more :'(
ReplyDeleteWell it has to be the temple scene, utterly beautiful, terribly sad. A wonderful moment for our girl Skye but such terrible loss. Still its kind of makes her a proper superhero in many ways, so often their origin stories are combined with tragedy.
ReplyDeleteSkye learning her true name abilities and most importantly her transformation.
ReplyDeleteHoly s**t!!!! That was one heck of a winter finale!!!! I'm gonna miss Trip so much. I didn't expect it, made peace with Mac being gone but Trip - can't find words for it. Can't wait we'll have to wait 3 months to see what will happen next!!!!
ReplyDeleteSkye meeting her father. Kyle McLachlan's performance in that scene was wonderful and very touching, I nearly got misty-eyed. I honestly don't think "Cal" is a bad person, just crazy and unstable after what's happened to him.
ReplyDeleteHonorable mentions:
- May's maneuvers, looked very cool.
- Everything Hunter/Bobbi, NB and AP simply sizzle on screen together.
- Skye and Raina's transformation, for the effects and music - but it loses points for how Trip was killed, he deserved better.
- Skye's two daddies do battle, too awesome. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!!!" "... you're welcome?"
So many I can't choose! :)
ReplyDeletewait.... Trips is really dead?
ReplyDeleteNOOOO
