  1. I'm glad we're getting Aurora backstory! Please make Sarah a regular.

  5. Great casting choice. Now just cast Aurora mother and we will be set for The Sleeping Beauty flashback

  6. Clyde why are you everywhere? I still haven't forgotten you took Emily away from us to work for you in London...

  9. I hope they won't kill Mikael in the Originals.. but if it's a special guest appearance, it's okay.

  10. This is only a guest role so I wouldn't get too paranoid about Mikael biting it yet

  11. I'm gonna have a wait-and-see attitude about this as I do most things (lol I kid I criticize everything ahead of time) and I never even finished watching "Maleficent" - I saw ten minutes and turned it off cos it looked awful. That being said, isn't the whole movie about how she was in love with Aurora's dad or something? They're saying Stefan has a history with Maleficent, but I was kinda hoping Aurora's mother (Leah? Right?) did, not him. They promised us they wouldn't do the movie but their own thing. But to be fair, they always do their own thing, if we're being technical. Ariel was their own thing. But she was also a carbon copy of the cartoon character. I hope whatever backstory we get isn't contrived AND that it is actually told from Aurora's perspective - at least partially. I want her to get at least a shared centric episode. But it'll probably be all from Maleficent's point of view. Regardless, I'm excited for the sleeping beauty story, it's long overdue.

Aurora's mother hasn't been named in the show, but she was indeed named Leah in the original Disney movie. In "Maleficent", she was named Leila. "Once Upon a Time" has established that Maleficent went after Aurora's mother before targeting Aurora herself, so it might have been because of romantic rivalry.

  14. BALTHAZAR!!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!! I love Sebastian Roche! I flipped when I saw him in Fringe, he's the reason I'm debating on watching The Originals, the fact that's he's going to be in Once Upon a Time makes me super excited for the next half of Once!!!

  15. I think they may actually kill him off - again.

  16. I am a very positive person but the writers can barely handle every regular they have so l doubt they can handle one more plus Sarah Bolger was cast as a regular in AMC's new show Badlands so l doubt she can be a regular in both unless shes Daniel Gillies. Since its AMC and they don't do 22 episode season at least we know Sarah can definitely come back l love her , but Will Scarlett is also a regular and Red was one and those characters hardly had anything to do when they were regulars just like Belle sometimes. Red in many ways felt more underused in season 2 than in 1 when she was recurring and everyone loved her , l still do and love Aurora too but the show has too many characters and they keep adding more . I hope the shows ratings bounce back next year l don't want this show cancelled.

  17. Clearly since you stopped watching after ten minutes you missed the most important part which happens after 25 minutes and validates why Maleficent hated Stefan, she didnt love him after that.

wouldn't it be something if it was Anna Torv? a mini Fringe reunion?

  19. I've seen him on Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Grimm, Fringe, The Mentalist, Burn Notice, and now he'll be on OUAT. He may hit all my favorite shows eventually at this rate. It's fun. He's a great actor.

  20. He'll have two of my top three once he's on once. I just need him on Arrow and The Flash and then he'd actually be in all my top 5 favorite shows (Supernatural, Arrow, Once, Flash, and Fringe)!

  21. Ohmygod, now I really want that to happen. Anna back on my screen would be amazing.

  22. come on how long can Mikael be on the show? eventually they're going to need a new Big Bad that's not family you know

  23. is Aurora's father evil in the stories? she doesn't deserve an evil father she's too nice and awesome SHE should be a regular not dumb Belle, i love her and Mary Margaret's relationship i hope we get it back like in season 2

  24. Ah cool another Bad Robot alum! He was also good in Odyssey 5!

    ReplyDelete
  25. that would be amazing!!!, although she's too young, unless she was cursed to not age, Aurora's not in a Fringe situation like Etta LOL

  26. you mean White Oak Stake

  27. As long as Philip makes ad appearance or two I'm fine. I love Julian Morris.

    ReplyDelete
  28. oh yeah Philip i actually forgot about him LOL, yeah i hope we see him in Storybrooke

  29. Same agree. I won't accept a cancellation unless it has no cliffhanger. I hope A&E channel picks it up if it gets cancelled by ABC. I love to see Aurora's backstory anyway.

  30. Hmm, I guess Mikeal will be dieing soon then on the Originals, lol.

  31. In the movie, "Sleeping Beauty" loved Maleficent and she healed what was left of Maleficents heart and it was Maleficents kiss that cures the sleeping curse. It actually reminded me of Once Upon a Time in that respect.
On the show, Aurora seems to fear Maleficent very much an Maleficent seemingly left her to rot in the curse and cursed her "prince" into that demon dog thing so that he couldn't even attempt to rescue her, so I doubt they are going the same route as the movie which is fine because its not like that's the only version of Sleeping Beauty in existence, lol.

  32. Angelina did very good in the movie, unfortunately all of the other characters seemed so dull in comparison which hurt the movie for me. I don't regret watching it, I just think it could have been better.

  33. I stopped watching cos it looked so cheesy with all the special effects AND because the character's name was Maleficent to begin with. That honestly killed it for me, if I were writing an origin story for her in which she starts out as good I wouldn't call her Maleficent from the get-go. The name is supposed to mean "evil", it derives from evil, yet she was a good creature with that name. Really poor decision, I think. Could not be arsed to watch it. I know it's probably a dumb beef I have with the movie, but I have it, so moo. :P
