The Terminator series has constantly played with different timelines and alternate universes. That's what happens with timetravel. The old saga was based on a Terminator sent to assassinate an adult Sara Connor, now the Terminator went further back thus creating a new timeline.
I haven't heard much about it but so far I'm not too hot on the show. Schwarzenegger made the franchise and the only way I enjoyed Salvation was by viewing it as a seperate movie. SCC only got my approval after it turned out to be good.
If you haven't you should totally check out "Terminator - Salvation: The Machinima Series", it's a pretty good series for what it is.
Well the last one was a new attempt at the franchise, turning it from "machine hunts people in present day" to a flat out war flick about man vs. machine.
Personally I had to take my time with Salvation but I eventually grew to like it for what it was.
This one should be better. It has Arnold, Matt Smith and a director that actually knows the franchise.
And since most reboots these days suck (Amazing Spiderman being the sucky-est) I'm glad that this one is sticking true to form.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I just want a trailer...is that too much to ask for ? :(
ReplyDeleteThe updated theme sounds badass tho :D
So this is a remake then? Not sure I'm too interested in it then. Enough with these remakes already, as I've not seen a decent one yet.
ReplyDeleteit's not a remake.

I suppose I'll give it a shot at Bluray then, as the last terminator film does not inspire anything good.
ReplyDeleteI want to see the trailer...

ReplyDeleteDekker? Badass? He was a pretty damn whiny John Connor. Loved the show and all but thanks to Dekkers grungy behaviour the show won't age well
