TNT Have renewed legends for a 2nd Season.
TNT Orders Second Season of Hit Drama Series Legends
TNT has ordered a second season of its exciting drama series Legends, starring Screen Actors Guild Award® winner Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings). The show is a key part of TNT's ongoing expansion into high-quality genre fare, which also includes the summer blockbuster series The Last Ship and the upcoming series The Librarians. Legends is produced by Fox 21, with Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24) serving as executive producer. TNT has ordered 10 episodes for season 2, with plans to launch next year.
Legends is based on the award-winning book by master spy novelist Robert Littell. In the series, Bean plays Martin Odum, an undercover agent working for the FBI's Deep Cover Operations (DCO) division. Martin has the uncanny ability to transform himself into a completely different person for each job. But he begins to question his own identity when a mysterious stranger suggests that Martin isn’t the man he believes himself to be.
The first season of Legends averaged 3.2 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery. When viewing across TNT's multiple platforms is factored in, the show's reach jumps to 6.5 million viewers through linear telecasts, DVR viewing, set-top VOD and digital on-demand.

Yesss!! I really wanted to see this show but I thought it would get cancelled cause of the rating.. Gonna catch up on my winter break.
ReplyDeleteSEAN BEAN LIVES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDid not expect this one.
ReplyDeletenow THAT is a surprise
ReplyDeletefor once, wait until it's revealed in the series finale that he's been dead all along
ReplyDeleteDefinitely surprised by this. I wanted one more season to finish all the story lines and we got it.
ReplyDeleteI'm very surprised. I won't be tuning in for season two though. I stuck it out for the entire first season but I just can't go another round with this show.
ReplyDeleteHow when TNT literally cancelled 2 shows making some room lol
ReplyDeleteBecause it's TNT's lowest rated show.
ReplyDeleteWow but wasn't Perception also not doing well?
ReplyDeleteIt really wasn't doing that badly. Of the three shows TNT cancelled, it's the highest rated.
ReplyDeleteWhy they cancelled their highest rated show?
ReplyDeleteNo idea. It was doing better than Murder in the First and Legends, too, which were renewed.
ReplyDeleteEver since Kevin Reilly joined. TNT started cleaning house
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised by this. I ended up stop watching it because I missed a couple of episodes and with this show, you miss one and you're lost. Hopefully TNT will air a Marathon of it at some point and I can catch up on the missing episodes.
ReplyDeleteI've seen some people mention that TNT is trying to rebrand themselves as 'dark and edgy' so they're clearing out the shows that don't fit that mold. Don't know how true that is though, I don't follow the network at all.
ReplyDeleteHuge surprise! Thought it would get canceled for sure. Very happy and I'll be tuning in for season 2!
ReplyDeleteVery glad to hear this. The show without doubt had issues, but they're correctable, and I looked forward to watching Bean in the role of Odum.
