Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey have been cast in the pilot for The Walking Dead companion series at AMC, created by Robert Kirkman, on whose graphic novel The Walking Dead was based, and Dave Erickson. Adam Davidson will direct.
The untitled Walking Dead spinoff, aka Cobalt, takes place during the same zombie apocalypse depicted on The Walking Dead but in a different location. It revolves around a male divorced teacher and a female guidance counselor. WME-repped Dillane (Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince) plays the woman’s son, who has battled a drug problem. Aussie Debnam Carey, repped by UTA, plays the woman’s ambitious daughter.

Voldemort!
ReplyDeleteWhen is this set to air ?
ReplyDeleteThey haven't even shot the pilot.
ReplyDeleteSo Voldemort had one more horcrux that allowed him to return as a zombie?
ReplyDeleteI'm in!
They begin filming in Pennsylvania sometime this next week or two, I believe.
ReplyDeleteThat almost definitely places the show during winter time on the world of TWD. That'd place us no earlier than a few months after the ZA began.
Depending on when AMC finally gives a full series order beyond just a pilot, I reckon this'll air during the summer between the seasonal hiatus for the main show.
