    If you read and watched all castle related news from ep 11 and 12 you know he wont be gone from the 12th and solving crimes with beckett, take a chill pill.

    I don't and I'm not. This has been a disappointing season. First with the mythology now this. Thank goodness it's a short arc. Hopefully after it ends my favorite show will return.

    5 & 6 were pretty good until 6x23. Wasn't thrilled with Pi or the DC thing in 6. I'm happy they got married in S7 finally, but that doesn't change the other stuff I mentioned. Best episode this season was 7x3, then 7x7. I'm looking forward to episodes 7x14-15 & the focus being on Castle & Beckett together dealing with Dr. Nieman. Castle P.I. I'm dreading.

    He will be gone from the 12th - they will be working on the same cases - but separately and in competition. It won't be "with Beckett."

    Castle was smart guy before, in season 6&5&4 he had nothing to do and in season 7 they made him too much of a child. Kate had feelings for sorenson and had gotten together with her when the so called wall was still there. She took Castle for granted for like a year after she knew he loves her. She was supposed to be a strong character but she was so easily vulnerable that she got kissed by loan in the squal and quaib and didn’t push him back until he was kissing her already! Castle was supposed to be a full lady guy but didn’t give attention to Beckett in the same ep for game. Kate was a lot open to loan about her relationship when he was just a stranger but hide things from Castle just after that. How was she in any way strong character? She was choosing job over love hide things from Castle until he himself found out. The show makes it as Castle fault when he was the one who took the relationship forward all the time. Those things never got cleared. Beckett had a wall with castle but not wish sorenson or even loan in the quaib episode. the show leaves things like loan kissing beckett, hiding things taking him for granted and never resolve those. Want the new story of castle to come back so we can see the serious castle.

    The focus was never just Castle. It was always on Castle and Beckett. The first episode set the premise that it was about them. If you remove Castle or Beckett there's no show. The trick is to keep the balance. When it skews too much towards one character there tends to be problems.

    It's not just about how I feel. Marlowe said from the beginning that it was a love story, which immediately involves two people. The setup of the first episode introduces us to to Castle and Beckett separately, and then has them meet. That structure makes the story about two different people and what occurs when they meet. If it were just about Castle, we wouldn't have met Beckett before she meets Castle. You may watch because of Nathan/Castle, others may watch because of Stana/Beckett, but the actual story is about Castle and Beckett.

    Marlowe says a lot of things but who seriously listens to anything he has to say because its always the same stuff and mostly isnt true, i watch the show through my eyes and for me the show was leaning towards castle in the first 3 seasons and it changed slightly after that the only thing i can slightly agree on is that it was about a writer and his muse and now its about a ... does he even write these days and his wife which is a cop he works with.
