  1. Barrowman is a great actor, he can make me hate his character Malcolm but in real life he comes off as really likeable.

  2. Transcript anyone?

    What's the spoiler?

  3. I just watched the video and I dont see any major spoilers... I dont really get it.

  4. cold and wet

  5. He's said he's about to film 3.10 at midnight and it's on a mountain top so I guess Malcolm will rescue Oliver or be the one to declare he's "dead"?

  6. SPOILERS:

Malcolm Merlyn filmed scenes where it was 'cold', 'wet' and 'high up'. He also mentions that he was on 'a mountain'. So most likely Malcolm was either watching or will be the one who saves Oliver.

  7. that's wrong. He said they're still shooting episode 3.09 and he was in the mountain (I guess the scene was cut?) and that he hasn't even read 3.10 yet.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Its possible that the scene was cut in 3.09 in favor for 3.10 bc MM was nowhere during the fight.

  9. Malcolm saves you know who.

  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od5dBodc_90#t=15

  11. They would have filmed the rescue scene for 3x10 at that time as they already had the set in use..

    ReplyDelete
  12. So Merlyn saves Ollie...didn't see that coming

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yep, it could be just a matter of logistic... They had the whole set ready.

    ReplyDelete
  14. No, what makes me wonder... What's Merlyn's end goal?

He could not posibly believe for a second that Oliver would kill Ra's... I'm still thinking Ra's isn't the big bad but Malcolm is.

Could this all be for the sake of reviving Tommy? Idk, i'm pretty damn lost...

    ReplyDelete
  15. maybe he want access to the Pit......

    ReplyDelete
  16. Or Ra's is a title that originally belonged to Merlyn but lost it after being defeated by the "new" Ra's and it's all a means to an end to get his title and position back?

  17. on-location shoots are often shot back to back, at times you'll see scenes that were shot months ago alongside other scenes that happened earlier on simply because it's cheaper and easier to do so.

    ReplyDelete
  18. i was thinking something like it, Malcom might possibly be aiming at the leadership of the league using Ollie to obtain it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. He was filming 3x09 though. The scene might be deleted

    ReplyDelete
  20. not deleted, they wrapped all their location scenes in a row. Who knows, we may get to see more scenes from there in the next few episodes

    ReplyDelete
  21. again: usually you wrap your on location shots up quicker and back to back.

You won't come back to a hard location to shoot at, you'll wrap all of it in one go

    ReplyDelete
  22. But I think merlyn is inStatling city. There was a spoilers about Roy having a confrontation with him. (Don't know which episode though)

    ReplyDelete
  23. to further elaborate: if I write a feature I first split it up into locations. That way I know where to shoot what and can wrap my feature quicker than usual.

For example: Saw 2 only took a few weeks to film. Why? Because there were only two main locations

    ReplyDelete
  24. Episode 11.....still have time to go rescue or spy on where Oliver went

    ReplyDelete
  25. Where was that spoiler? He might just be there, if Barrowman already says that it's cold and wet and on a mountain it clearly suggests where he is.

Doubt they'd cut him out of the scene entirely

    ReplyDelete
  26. or save him, take him to someone to heal him up and go back to Starling

    ReplyDelete
  27. Malcolm somehow survive an arrow to the heart? so I sure Oliver can survive his injuries.....somehow

    ReplyDelete
  28. well...Oliver was stabbed into his liver, his lungs and thrown off a mountain. The crash might at least have shattered most of his bones

    ReplyDelete
  29. If Malcolm saves Oliver, I must say that the writers did a good job then because he would be the last person I would think of saving Oliver. Or maybe he DOES care about Thea and doesn't want her to lose her brother also ??? Just an idea ....

    ReplyDelete
  30. that would be reverse batman begins scene.......villain save hero......

    ReplyDelete
  31. That's a good theory ! Although it sound unreal because Ra's said that it has been 68?? years since he was challenged to a fight...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Going by context Oliver won't be back to Star City until episode 14. So if Merlyn is the one that he doesn't immediately bring him back to Star City.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It could be a technicality. Ra's wasn't challenged, Ra's challenged Merlyn and took his place.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Stephen posted a photo on facebook where all of them with a crew member together in jackets and Nyssa is holding a starbuck coffee lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. Malcom wasn't stabbed in the heart lol only way for that was if oliver stabbed himself in the heart too lol. Ollie stabbed himself in the shoulder and then slightly adjusted it making him believe he killed him when in his mind he wounded him and knew he would die bleeding out.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think the spoiler is his description of where he will be: very cold and wet on a mountain. Guess how Oliver survives being kicked off the cliff? Malcolm comes and saves him. Major spoiler indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  37. From the promo the chinese guy says Oliver Queen is dead like he is standing over his body and announcing it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. i doubt thta if you care about your daughter you drug her and make her kill someone, but it's Malcolms mind so he could definetlly go fr that kind of twisted reasoning xD

    ReplyDelete
  39. So they leave Oliver apart from team Arrow for 5 episodes? seems unlikely.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oliver is back at the end of episode 12....I think in the dying minutes of the episodes he turns up. He's definitely not gone for 5

    ReplyDelete
  41. I doubt Malcolm will save Oliver........I don't think John would spoiler a major plot element

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yeah, they could make him go for that kind of twisted reasoning, specially if they want to ruin the show... Malcolm finally showed what a heartless monster he is, so it would be REALLY dumb if they shift it AGAIN and make him save Oliver, even if he doesn't bring him back to Star City.

It was already one of the biggest and unrealistic things of the entire show that Oliver SO easily believed Malcolm and let him stay around, further manipulating and mind-controlling Thea if he wanted. So yeah, I'll be really pissed off if they make Malcolm be that semi-good guy which they annoyingly keep making him out to be and svaes him. I'd even rather hav3e Oliver just being completely dead than Malcolm doing something like that again... Just let that guy come out as the villain and nemesis that he's supposed to be, not that twisted logic in your heads of: 'Our villains are the heroes of their own stories.' That DOES NOT count for Malcolm anymore! Not after you made him ruin Thea this much already, so just fuck off with Malcolm, or give him his own show or something, he's been ruining this one long enough already.

Even without her knowing it, I still can't remember Speedy being a killer, so I still don't know how they're planning on doinb that, or when they plan on FINALLY letting Thea realize what Malcolm is NOT her father but that Robert Queen was her father, with how he raised her and actually took care of her instead of mind-controlling her like a freaking pet or something.

    ReplyDelete
  43. oh i agree, half-good half-bad doesn't work, i am convinced Malcolm has a bigger plan, even if he's the one that saves Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's going to be interesting to see how the characters are going to adapt to Ollie absence, and im also curious to see how Oliver is going to be used.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes . That could be true !
