Viola davis!!!!!!!!! Yaaaay well deserved
ReplyDeleteMads Mikkelson and Hugh Dancy should be here.
ReplyDeleteAnd Sons of Anarchy continues to get ignored.
ReplyDeleteYay for Viola Davis- (I think she will take it)
ReplyDeleteOnly one nom for Fargo and no love for Allison Janney? This list is crap.
ReplyDeletePretty happy at these. Great for Tatiana. Delighted Mark Ruffalo got two noms.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you on Allison Janney (I personally thought she should have had Eddie Falco's spot)
ReplyDeleteViola Davis Better Win!!!
ReplyDeletewhattttt No Jessica Lange nor Kathy Bates? No love for Eva gGreen and her performance of Penny Dreadfull?. Yeah. I dont like this.
ReplyDeleteViola go for that SAG woman!
Not a bad list of nominations at all. Would of liked some Hannibal or Bates Motel nominations, but I am very grateful that Boardwalk Empire was properly nominated. It's also great for miss Maslany!
ReplyDeleteBecause it's not on HBO. These award shows don't nominate violent graphic shows unless they are on HBO. I'm tired of the network bias.
ReplyDeleteEva Green should have been nominated. Vera and Mads too.
ReplyDeleteTeam Fargo, The Good Wife and Boardwalk Empire :)
ReplyDeleteNo nominations for Eden Sher, Allison Janney, Mads Mikkelson, Hugh Dancy, Katy Segal, Charlie Hunnam, the list could go on. It is always the same shows/people that get nominated for every single award
ReplyDeleteVery happy for Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Veep, but where is Jessica Lange and Vera Farmiga?
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh...
ReplyDelete"TATIANA MASLANY / Sarah/Coxima/Alison/Rachel/ – “ORPHAN BLACK” (BBC America)
Helena/Tony/Jennifer and VARIOUS OTHERS"
I mean, if she doesn't win...
Great noms ecstatic for Viola and the OITNB cast.
ReplyDeleteI expected an indication for Nina Dobrev :(
ReplyDeleteIts pretty much the same as every year
ReplyDeleteTatiana Maslany, finally! OTOH: has ANYBODY watched OItNB to nominte it as a comedy? I mean yeah, it had a lot of funny moments, but based upon this Person of Interest is a comedy too.
ReplyDeleteEdie Falco killed it this year in Nurse Jackie..
ReplyDeleteWell it's more compelling as a Dark Comedy rather than a mere drama, much like how Desperate Housewives was in it's early seasons when it still got nominations.
ReplyDeleteThen why does American Horror Story get a ton of nominations every year? They have violent scenes as well .
ReplyDeleteWell Shameless had it's most dramatic season yet but they switched to the comedy categories for award shows this year .
ReplyDeleteFinally, Tatiana Maslany is nominated by a major award. I hope she wins for her outstanding work on Orphan Black.
ReplyDeletedoesn't deserve.
ReplyDeleteHow can you say that? In the last 4 episodes alone this season Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Jimmy Smits, Kim Coates, Theo Rossi, Tommy Flanagan and Walton Goggins were all phenomenal in various scenes especially Charlie, Katey and Jimmy. There's no way that Downtown Abbey or Boardwalk Empire deserved that outstanding ensemble nomination over the cast of Sons of Anarchy.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Charlie, Jimmy and Katey, amazing. but Sons of Anarchy is running against Game of Thrones and Homeland.
