Happy Endings. :c It'll always have a special place in my heart.
ReplyDeleteOut of the ones that are still airing, probably Parks & Rec.
The Mindy Project
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing
2 Broke Girls comes close second
Just one? That is just cruel.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite comedy. There was a time a few years ago in which it was probably big bang theory and there was also a time in which it was Community; last year it was probably Suburgatory, but nowadays I have a bunch of comedies at the top.
About a Boy, B99, Mom (newest addiction), Mindy Project, Modern Family, Big Bang and New Girl are all shows I adore (Community and Cougar Town are on hiatus, otherwise would have been included). I've voted for About a Boy because of how criminally underrated that show is.
Thinking about this makes me sad about the gemns that were taken away from us way too soon. Forever RIP Suburgatory (one of my favorite comedies ever), Happy Endings, Apartment 23, Enlisted and The Crazy Ones.
I guess judging by the options its comedies which are currently airing.
ReplyDeleteIn that case its Brooklyn 99 followed by Bob's Burgers and The Middle.
Of shows which are still around but off air right now well Parks and Recreation is always my number one.
The Nanny
ReplyDelete<3
Fran Drescher is love
Fran Drescher is life
In more recent times though...probably The Big Bang Theory
Modern Family. 5 years later it is still a lovely and funny show.
ReplyDeleteThe question should have had the word "current" in it.
ReplyDeleteCurrent: TBBT.
All time: Friends.
VEEP is my favorite and IMHO, it's the best comedy out there. Strong cast, strong performances, hilarious story lines and Jonad. ;) :)
ReplyDeleteI watch many comedies and there are a lot of other good ones too that I like.
In no order of preference:
Parks & Recreation - Leslie, Ann, Ben, Ron, Andy, April, Tom, the whole cast. Need I say more.
You're the Worst - best cynical/scathing comedy of 2014. Jimmy & Gretchen - favorite new couple.
Happy Endings - I will remember this one. Brad and Jane were my favorites. :(
The Mindy Project - it's quirky and fun. Mindy Kaling & Chris Messina have amazing chemistry.
New Girl - it's back on track. S4 has been very good and the latest episode was excellent.
Brooklyn 99 - like Parks & Res, the whole cast of this show is amazing. Never fails to make me laugh.
Mom - A lot of heart in this one. I liked S1 and I am loving S2. Allison Janney & Anna Faris FTW!!
Big Bang Theory - this is definitely in the last place. Watching it out of habit nowadays.
Community, hands down.
ReplyDeleteOf the ones on the list, the only one i'm watching is About a Boy... The Big Bang Theory already bored me, since it's always the same...
The Middle.
ReplyDeleteI've got plenty current ones, but here are my Top 5:
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn Nine-Nine (voted)
The Mindy Project
Selfie (don't talk to me, still upset)
Cougar Town
Parks And Rec
I only watch TBBT used to watch Community.
ReplyDeleteVeep is one of the few shows that makes me LOL literally.
ReplyDeleteCommunity! #sixseasonsandamovie
ReplyDeleteOther - Parks and Recreation
ReplyDeleteFor me, my absolute favorites are The Middle and Community which are tightly tied.
ReplyDeleteOther favorites include Parks & Rec, Marry Me, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Big Bang Theory, among many others I really enjoy.
Truly great and underrated comedy. A true gem
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy only being able to have
ReplyDeleteOne option with that it's the Middle, honorable mentions Marry Me, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, and gone but not forgotten Neighbors!!!

Huh. I don't even remember making this poll
ReplyDeleteI hear Suburgatory was good. Any place I could watch an episode or two?
ReplyDeleteSorry! Wish there was a way I could edit it
ReplyDeleteHey guys: I know it's clunky but if you want to vote for more than one than just press "return to poll" after voting, and then just pick another one :)
ReplyDeleteIf i have to pick 1 show which i am not happy about doing, It would have to be Parks and Recreation.
ReplyDeleteYou can only vote one time on our polls. If you do that you simply get the following message at the top of the polls "Thank you, we have already counted your vote"
ReplyDeleteOn broadcast, Bob's Burgers.
ReplyDeleteOn cable, Veep.
Easily Community and then Louie, Parks and Recreation, Veep and The Thick of It.
ReplyDeleteReally? I just voted for Middle and Goldbergs to test it out
ReplyDeleteYep, what message do you see at the top of the poll when you try to vote again?
ReplyDeleteB99 :)
ReplyDeleteMy bad! When I voted it brought me to the same poll results as before. And I was too far down to not see the message you talked about when I pressed "return to poll"
ReplyDeleteManhattan Love Story
ReplyDeleteHa no worries :) Many people make that mistake
ReplyDeleteBy far and away, Community! One of the best shows to ever grace TV with its presence, and definitely my favorite show of any genre.
ReplyDeleteA strong contender at second is Parks & Rec.
Among the list-Modern Family.Others-FRIENDS.
ReplyDeletered band society, the mccartheys, a to z, about a boy, selfie
ReplyDeleteAll Warner produced comedies!
ReplyDeleteThere's a site called cucirca.com that I think has them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you haven't watch Trophy Wife and Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, I totally recommend them.
At the moment it's Raising Hope. Its bound to change though….
ReplyDeleteFRIENDS forever, :')
ReplyDeleteCouchtuner is a really great site to watch tv shows.
ReplyDeleteMike & Molly, of course! why is it not in the list?
ReplyDeleteProbably The Middle for me.
ReplyDeleteDitto "Community".
ReplyDeleteAs for comedies that wrapped up their run long ago, "Frasier" will always remain one of my personal favorite TV shows ever. I don't care how many times I see episodes of that series, I laugh every time. I also love "Strangers with Candy".
I've loved Big Bang Theory and I still watch every episode but I don't find it as hilarious as I used to.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand I started watching Brooklyn 99 after they won at the Globes and I'm crazy about it. I love absolutely every character from Jake's crazy genius to the Captain's incredibly dry repartee to Boyle's numerous humiliations. And there's also Rosa's violent tendencies, Santiago's the teacher's pet and Gina's crazy dance routines. And let's not forget Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum: Hitchcock and Scully!
I didn't get why The Crazy Ones was cancelled, it was so funny and it had big stars in it.
ReplyDeleteYep, same for Big Bang Theory, I tune in out of habit but I'm not as invested in the characters as I used to be.
ReplyDeleteTrophy Wife was the best! I miss that show so much! Wish they treated it like they should have
ReplyDeletePSYCH!!!!!!! Although, it is a "dramedy."
ReplyDeleteFran Drescher and that laugh, it was like nails down a chalk board.
ReplyDeletestill upset about Selfie too.... where can i watch online for the rest episodes...
ReplyDeleteAll-time: Scrubs.
ReplyDeleteCurrently airing: Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Big stars means big paychecks, and unfortunately enough it didn't get enough viewers to warrant those big paychecks. Too bad, because it was a fun show. A lot funnier than The Millers that was renewed (but now cancelled early in season 2.)
ReplyDeleteBig Bang
