The third one was absolutely incredible, I don't want a fourth one to sully the affect that the third one has. The Halloween/other random specials have been pushing it as it is.
Right? I had to bite my lip hard to stop from losing it in the Thayer when he gave Woody away. Mostly because I would have looked like a wimp amongst the 3-year-olds who seemingly didn't get it.
In fine with the specials except the fact that they air them instead of The Middle
I thought 3 was the perfect, bittersweet ending to a beloved movie series and it's been cool to watch the 20-minute specials for Halloween and the upcoming Christmas one, which I think is fine as it really just builds small stories that show us what the guys are up to, but to have a 4th film after the way 3 ended, I dunno. I love the series and I don't want them to ruin it, but I guess if it's as spectacular as the first 3, I can't complain, but I think the 3rd one drained all of the emotion from me so it would be hard to carry that on and then end that on a high note.
The 3rd one was perfect and I watched it at a time when we were all finishing off college so it was really symbolic and I could relate to the whole growing up thing. Now it's just a move to make money and that sucks! Similar to splitting movies into two ... when the greed starts showing, the quality goes down!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
No...a trilogy was perfect

I really liked the ending of the third one. So a fourth is not a good idea.

ReplyDeleteMoney, money and money - why it always have to be money?
ReplyDeleteIt ended perfectly, but I wouldn't mind one FINAL one.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I wanted for the fourth one. And Sid being in an insane asylum.
