  1. Well Matt seems particularly miserable here. Then again, he's been that way the entire season.

I get that he's not fond of his life but no one is forcing him to stick around or accept his life as is. I don't buy into the argument that he's "stuck" in Mystic Falls either. Many people have built a life from a lot less than what Matt has.

Matt is like Dante from the movie Clerks. He's unhappy with his life but seemingly unwilling to do anything about it.

  2. Looks good! First time this season Enzo has a real purpose. Glad he doesn't hold something against Stefan.

  3. same as Stefan. the writers seem determined to keep Stefan in perpetual self pity apologizing for being who he is and every decision he makes. Stefan and Matt are two character that are never allowed to evolve, they're just around for the sake of Damon Elena and Caroline.

  4. The difference between Matt and Stefan is that they give Stefan actual reason's for his state of mind. He's miserable because his brother died or he's miserable because he lost the girl he loves. Matt, on the other hand, is just miserable.

  5. probably right about Matt. but Stefan is always miserable, the only times he didn't seem miserable is when he was the Reaper, when he was human, and when he had his mind wiped.
if anyone deserves a turn back into a human card its Stefan not Alaric.

  6. Stefan had his chance at a return to humanity and decided against it. I guess that kind of reinforces your point.

  7. Love Enzo, I am very curious to see how this bromance thing is going to develop. There are so many possibilities with Damon, Stefan, Enzo and Alaric around. Jeremy and Matt don't really have a purpose other than being supporting characters which is sad, because I like Matt at least but this season the male cast is really strong. Jeremy beefed up and whiny is getting bering. But so far I am really enjoying this season, cannot wait for Thursday! I still hope it is Damon who gets/helps Bonnie back!

  8. I love Enzo. It's interesting seeing this trio together.I think Tripp is going to die in this episode because he doesn't have a purpose anymore.

  9. Matt needs new friends. Stefan, Enzo & Damon are not his friends and it's terrible he thinks that they are.

  10. Enzo's death is about half a season overdue. He is essentially Damon with an accent

  11. wow...that was really boring.(especially compared to the first sneak peek) Thanks Enzo. Think i'll go back to sleep now. (have to wake up in 3 hrs).

  12. At least he has Jeremy, but that poor boy is always dealing with his own sucky life, so it's hard for him to be there for Matt. But I agree with you.

  13. Lmao. The only reason I don't want Enzo dead is because I'd feel sorry for the actor. And I'm also waiting to see if my love for him (or lack thereof) will grow. I hope so, so I don't have to worry about him stealing more screen time from the characters I do like.
