It would have been nice if Klaus would have warned Camille about him already. Just a few sentences probably would have been enough to put the pieces together.
That's really not enough to go on. With that little info they could be virtually anyone. All Klaus would have to do is describe the guy. Hell, if he or his brother were thinking straight at that "family dinner" they could have just snapped a pic with their phones. Unfortunately, that's not the case and people are still in the dark.
Klaus doesn't know that Finn is Cami therapist. Hell , he doesn't know that Finn and Esther are even aware of Cami. Especially since she's not his girlfriend .
It doesn't matter that Klaus doesn't know he's playing a therapist. All he'd have to do is say "if you see a..." or "look out for a..." and give a physical description of the guy. It's that simple.
It's not a big leap to think that they'd be going after people close to Klaus and Elijah so giving certain people a heads-up is just common sense.
camille knows klaus would never hurt her AWESOMESAUCE!!! and finn needs to stay away from cami and when klaus sees that finn been talking to cami he'll do what elijah almost did before he got captured and rip his throat out, god it's weird seeing the name finn belong to someone evil because on the 100 it's the name of someone good
See I'd agree if it weren't for the fact that such physical descriptions would sound like a lot of people. Even the accent bit wouldn't work because Finn uses an American one with Cami. Just stop finding unnecessary faults with Klaus' actions.
Yeah, I'm still stuck on the first sneak peek. Are there any scoops on Elijah? What's supposed to be going on with the guy after Esther used what Narducci called "his kryptonite" on him (weak kryptonite, but whatever)? He's still being played by Daniel Gillies, so it's not like Esther succeeded in convincing him to be "purified" yet.
Or maybe she did convince him, but she's planning on keeping him as a vamp just for the time being to use him as a double agent of sorts?
A physical description + a therapist who willingly and eagerly asks pointed questions about your personal life when off the clock would make a pretty great candidate for a Mikaelson under the circumstances.
Yeah, there was an awkward little bit that had Klaus using a smart phone (Samsung Galaxy, I think) with a stylus app. TVD has a cringeworthy amount of product placement that pops up throughout the series.
Right. Let's take that line of thinking to it's logical conclusion and just hand Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah over to their mother so they can be "purified" and we can just end the series now.
Jesus christ. Yes because Finn wouldn't have noticed their attempt. He's incredibly smart, very powerful and doesn't trust them. One move near him and he attacked them with magic. They're fast but they're not that fast. You're conclusion that I apparently went to (not even close) is ridiculous. You want to criticize Klaus? Fine the guys done awful things but not taking a selfie so he could show Cami or update his Facebook, twitter or instagram account is not one of them.
He's her advisor for her thesis. Have you never encountered a University Professor in your life? They're always willing to help you with your problems provided you have time. So many Professors and students form bonds in University of friendship.
He did. What is he supposed to make the not logically supported assumption that his brother Finn has formed a bond with Cami to learn more about him. Oh yeah wait there's nothing saying that that would happen. And no Davina and Kol's thing doesn't count because she's not close to Klaus and is a powerful witch. You're basically mad that Klaus isn't omnipotent.
No there are cases of that. Like my friend for example has done that with both high school teachers and uni profs. Not saying it's standard but again it's not unusual. Particularly if you're trying to sell yourself as the supportive psych advisor. Again you're basically saying that fictional characters should be aware of dramatic irony and plot developments as through they've seen the show.
Oh please. They're in witch bodies. All they'd have to do is go to Marcel and ask which French Quarter witches fit those descriptions and go from there. It's not rocket science. It's not even difficult. They could have nailed this down and got the info out to everyone in no time.
"Again you're basically saying that fictional characters should be aware of dramatic irony and plot developments as through they've seen the show."
Now you're jumping to conclusions. Cami knows that Klaus' family jumped into other bodies and that they're making their move. She also has a professor who hasn't been around long that has not just taken a personal interest in her but a specific interest in her relationship with Klaus and is doing so of his own accord off the clock. Any character who has been clued into Mikaelson history would have to be an idiot for this not to at least raise a red flag or two.
Just a digress to say this : i re watch the first episode of the season and i don't understand why people blame cami of being the reason why klaus is getting soft . I mean , haven't you see that since ep 2x01 , klaus is a change man. He realise his mistake , want to be more wise and noble because he want his daughter get back to him so much. His change of behaviour have nothing to do with her,he just growing as a person , that's all. And He can't be a vilain all the time because the tv show would have no point.
I think Ester and Fin should be dropped in the middle of the new "Mystic Falls" so they cannot do magic at least until Mystic Falls is no longer magic no zone, which is hopefully soon.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteKlaus did tell her that his mother wanted to put them in New bodies. I'm not sure why she can't put it together on her own.

ReplyDeleteand that song awesome
ReplyDeleteI wishhhhh Klaus knew what Finn was up to!!! He will soon enough or at least he better.
ReplyDeleteLOL Wasn't there a product placement ad a few seasons ago where Klaus learned how to use a smart phone?
ReplyDeleteI don't think Klaus and Elijah are tech savvy enough for selfies with their new "brothers."
"His family is here and they don't get along" Quite an euphemism! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah because Finn wouldn't get suspicious or take his phone through magic at all. Really?
ReplyDeleteSee I'd agree if it weren't for the fact that such physical descriptions would sound like a lot of people. Even the accent bit wouldn't work because Finn uses an American one with Cami. Just stop finding unnecessary faults with Klaus' actions.

ReplyDeleteOh for God's sake no matter what they wouldn't have gotten away with it.
ReplyDeleteYeah because there isn't a large potion of New Orleans' population that wouldn't meet that description of basically tallish black guy.
ReplyDeleteOne that takes his free time to discuss her personal life. That narrows the suspect pool down to one.
ReplyDeleteRight that or it's like he's a psychologist. Whoa didn't see that coming at all.
ReplyDeleteRight. Let's take that line of thinking to it's logical conclusion and just hand Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah over to their mother so they can be "purified" and we can just end the series now.
ReplyDeleteThey don't work for free and they certainly don't do it off the clock for someone they just met.

ReplyDeleteSure good ones do that but what they don't do is initiate an unsolicited discussion of your personal problems at a bar.
ReplyDeleteI criticize not making a logical attempt to adequately warn those around them about the threat they're all dealing with which is absolutely justified.
ReplyDeleteHe did. What is he supposed to make the not logically supported assumption that his brother Finn has formed a bond with Cami to learn more about him. Well actually the synopsis of the episode said that she will.....

ReplyDeleteUnless they could get Cami to put them there, that'd be hard to do. Good idea though.
