The mid-season finale appeared to indicate that Red had The Fulcrum, but he we learn during the course of the episode that he may not have it. However, he does know someone who knows where it is - Liz. The episode tells us a lot more about The Fulcrum: what it is, why it's so important and where it was last seen, and the answers to these questions may surprise you.
The latest Blacklister, Robert Grady, doesn't start off the episode with very much power. However, that changes very quickly and he becomes a threat, one that Red isn't happy about.
Speaking of Red, though there are various times where it seems as if he is the Red we've known since the Pilot, we see him in a very different light in one particular scene.
The dynamic between Red and Liz is very interesting during the episode, and it changes quite a bit throughout.
Here are some other teasers:
- We'll see the worst wedding toast ever.
- Someone gets arrested, while two characters are taken hostage.
- Two other characters work together as a team in a very interesting situation.
- We will get to see crime scene photos from the night Red vanished all those years ago on Christmas Eve, 1990.
- We'll find out the importance of the fire from Lizzie's childhood

This sounds good!
ReplyDeleteWe finally get some answers. Miss the show already and can't wait for it to return.
ReplyDeleteis february yet? lol btw i hope the two characters who work in an "interesting situation" are Navabi and Aram... there were some sparks between them in the previous episodes.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait. Feb 1st is way too far away!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of puzzle pieces will be added to the board!
ReplyDeleteI miss the show, I can't wait to finally get some answers! :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really good! My guess is the Blacklister goes after Liz, and that is what makes Red so unhappy
ReplyDeleteIt better be a great episode.
ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost: What is The Fulcrum?
ReplyDeleteinteresting scenario.....
ReplyDeleteI am most interested about this very different light we are going to see Red in. One thing I hope they keep consistent about him is his affection for Lizzie. Whether he is her father or not, or whether she has information he needs or not, I hope they keep his feelings for her as genuine. It gives him the human, fallible quality that is necessary to avoid him being a charming, but ultimately one note character.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the fulcrum is hidden in that blasted, half burned rabbit. ;) I like your theory!
ReplyDeleteOh gadz I hope not! XD
ReplyDeleteI thought about the rabbit too, but dismissed it...
I seriously hope the Fulcrum is not the rabbit or inside the rabbit!
Haha... That would be very bad writing.
ReplyDeleteThe Fulcrum, is a thing but what exactly is wand how Iz can find it?, is it related to her childhood? and that's why we got this?
ReplyDelete"We'll find out the importance of the fire from Lizzie's childhood" YES, YES!.. for me sounds like it.
Are they gonna slap a wig on JS in the fire flashbacks?
ReplyDeleteIs Red going to start getting angry at Liz or is he going to help her more
ReplyDeleteI really hope Tom and Ressler are the people working together in a very interesting situation. I remember reading those two characters haven't seen the last of each other and basically my number 1 wish is that Tom will be back in the Superbowl episode. I really don't want to be left hanging after that 2x08 bombshell. Super excited for this episode, it looks like it's going to give us a ton of mythology stuff! Is it February yet?!
