I was thinking more along the lines of: Ressler: "Leave me alone, you bum! I don't have any change and you'd just spend it on booze anyway." Liz: "That's Tom!" Ressler: "I know."
Not sure.. Could be a reference to the Decemberist Uprising in Russia in the early 19th century... I don't recall details.. Other than in happened in December hence the name... Something about one brother ascending to the throne and the people wanting someone else maybe?
From the vague info I recall I see a couple possible connections... Berlin being Russian the most obvious, but also his daughter fell for a "dissident" according to Berlin's story last season. Maybe the title refers to that person?
Of course there could be some more obvious and meaningful thematic connections I'm missing because I cannot recall details about the uprising! xD
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So apparently Tom gets out?
ReplyDeleteTom is out o.O
ReplyDeleteLooks like Liz finally Ressler up on his offer from season one.
ReplyDeleteLiz is also in the car, so this is an official WTF(is she doing)?
ReplyDeleteRessler: "You're ALIVE?! How? What have you been doing?"
ReplyDeleteTom: "I've become a lumberjack, you wouldn't hurt a man that chops wood, now would you?"

Oh my gosh, that Ressler/Tom scene. I need that NOW.
ReplyDeleteso Ressler as a misguided knight in shining armor???
ReplyDeleteI love this title....could be a reference to Fringe????

I was thinking Ressler was lecturing Tom for growing a beard and becoming a hipster...
ReplyDeleteAh, you're probably right. I forgot there is such a thing called that. And you're parallel is probably spot on too! Thanks for the info! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this is the finale already! Ugh. Why so early? Is it for that Heigl show? Not going to be watching that.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the return date?
