It's a slow burn type of show- 4 eps in I love it. Really like the fact we see 2 POVs of the same sequence of events, played so differently in Noah and Alison's memories. Ep 4 was very good :)
Just got caught up with the show and I´m loving it. I´d love to know a bit more about the murder/accident in the future though. Hopefully we will learn more within the next few episodes. Any thoughts to who might have died? Cole? Or one of his brothers?
Intense, so it definitely seems like Cole and his brothers are dealing drugs or something, wouldn't be surprised if this the reason someone dies. I like that we are going to see the Detective out and about.
The promos are always better than this snooze of a show. And the lack of chemistry between these two actors is astonishing. Maybe it's just that I think Noah is one of the more unattractive actors around. Ugh. Loser of a show.
I agree on Scotty or the other brother. If it was the father in law I think Noah would seem different in the interviews with the police. He doesn´t seem like it is someone close to him, but then again, he hates his father in law, so maybe....
The next episodes look so great! I hope Cole and Helen will have more screentime now that things start to go out of control for Alison and Noah. Ruth Wilson and Dominic West are very good actors (love ruth wilson more!) but Joshua Jackson and Maura Tierney are great too. I can't wait to see how their characters will deal with all of this mess. Plus, it really seems that Cole and his brothers are behind illegal stuff. I bet drugs. I also think that Cole is orchestrating this activity.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't know why this show is getting so much praise. I gave it the four episode test and barely tolerated it that long.
ReplyDeleteI love the show! can´t wait for the rest of it truly refreshing storytelling

ReplyDeleteI think it might be Scotty (think that is his name) Cole's brother or maybe the father in law.

ReplyDeleteThis show is awesome! Probably my favourite new show of the season. Dominic West and Ruth Wilson are brilliant in their roles.
