    "We got work to do" This can be really, really good or horrible. I'm afraid. On the plus side, any time we can see the boys in just t-shirts and no layers, is a really good time.

    Love the throwback to the pilot (i.e., the upshot of Sam & Dean from inside the trunk).

    This episode is going to be great. It's just a silly, fun episode, not to be taken too seriously. I much prefer something like this than a serious episode that is sloppily written (s.a. "Bloodlines," "Stairway to Heaven," "King of the Damned" and "Black").

    Hmm… To me that scene doesn’t have enough significance to warrant recreating the moment from the Pilot where Sam said, “We got work to do,” even if they wanted to give that line to Dean.

    I thought Dean still had the Mark Of Cain. Is it invisible, because I can't see it on his arm? Or did I miss something?

    King Of The Damned was sloppily written. The pacing was off, the dialogue was unnatural and forced, the scenes didn't have natural ties between them. Unfortunately, this is the case with most BuckLemming episodes. Bloodlines, while being boring as hell, was still written tightly and with purpose, we just didn't care. The other two were written well, though they could have been a little tighter.

    Bloodlines was rubbish
    Black was one of the worst season openers
    Stairway and King of The Dambed were also both poorly written (more so Stairway)

    I saw it as ironic. They used to have a purpose. They don't now. Dean's trying to pretend that they do to avoid dealing.

    King of the Damned was a fine Dean-centric episode. While everything about Crowley's son didn't make any sense, the focus on Dean was strong and needed, especially in light of what will happen to Dean later on in the rest of S9 and beginning of S10.

    As I said below, I'm not talking about the quality of the plot, which was different for each episode, I'm talking about the technical writing of them, which was only really bad for King of the Damned. The mechanics of the writing include how good the pacing was, how natural the dialogue felt, if there was a good balance between action scenes (where people are doing something, not just fighting) and talking scenes, if the scenes organically lead into each other, if the structure was tightly followed (Supernatural has a 5 act structure), etc.

    I think the quality of the plot/story was also bad in some cases.

    Aside from "Bloodlines" (which was an embarrassment), consider how reaper lore was butchered in "Stairway to Heaven." This was unforgivable.
