Khandi Alexander is set to reprise her role as Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) terrorist mom on the midseason finale of Scandal, EW has learned.
Details on her return are being kept under wraps, but the last we saw of the Pope matriarch, Rowan (Joe Morton) had framed her for the murder of the President’s (Tony Goldwyn) son and locked her away—though Olivia and Fitz believe Maya to be dead.

ReplyDeleteI predicted either Maya or Edison. It had to be someone tied to Olivia. No big mystery because the audience knew Maya was still alive while all of the characters thought she is dead except of course Rowan.

ReplyDeleteI hope this means the end of Papa Pope. I like Jake I hope he stays. He is a much better fit to me than Fitz and he doesn't have a wife, or a country to run, plus he ain't whipped like Fitz' weak behind either. Whatever she brings I hope it lifts the show back up because right now my interest in Scandal is starting to dwindle.
