This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)
NOTICE As you can see we are trying out a new table format. This will allow us to enter in the Top 25 Markets (if we get them), as well as additional Demo Numbers for those who are interested in them. Let us know what you think of the new table and if you have any suggestions/comments. If this format proves popular we may look to use it for future ratings posts. These new tables should also work better on mobile devices so that you can scroll the table if it does not fit on your device.
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
Stalker steady!
ReplyDeleteWhat's this new hit show on the Cw? 0,6?
ReplyDeleteGlad Stalker hold on!
Happy thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteGreat for stalker :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving everyone! Of course Survivor, Criminal Minds and Stalker did good on Thanksgiving Eve, all of them are old skewing reality/procedural shows that have the same ratings over and over no matter what day it is.
ReplyDeleteAlso amazing for Charlie Brown!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's insane how there's big different between 18-34 & 25-54 for Stalker
ReplyDeleteABC is the most improved network, with Charlie Brown lifting it up and repeats of MF and Nashville doing better than their repeats last year and Black-ish building on a SFN repeat. It looks like a positive sign for when these ABC shows return.
ReplyDeleteCBS remains steady, while FOX sinks and NBC numbers for Peter Pan are not that promising (the making of Sounds of Music gathered a 1.0 last year).
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving everybody!
ABC did well with its repeats, especially the Charlie Brown special. I still think they should be running Nashville straight through to premiere something else in the slot later on, but well. The CW also did well for a movie, good for them. CBS was steady, albeit in the lower end of their numbers, which is normal since they tend to be the most unaffected by these events (but tonight is a different story, I really don't think they should be airing originals). FOX did awfully bad (why were they even airing originals last night?). NBC was okayish, uneventful, I suppose.
ReplyDelete18-34 ratings always seem to be embarresingly low
ReplyDeleteEven with originals, FOX was still handily beaten by ABC and NBC and it wasn't that far off from the CW, which was in repeats. Ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteABC's growth of 62% is staggering. Every single half hour was up year to year, though of course most of the growth comes from 8pm in which the charlie brown thing more than doubled what repeats of the middle and last man standing did in the slot. Blackish almost doubled SFN repeat as well.
ReplyDeleteHopefully Stalker adjusts up!
ReplyDeleteNo Underwood. She's not a factor for me, but I have to think her fans were the ones tuning in for the making of special.
ReplyDeleteNo shocker that Stalker skews so much older. It's on CBS and it looks like something from the Lifetime network.
ReplyDeletered band society has been cancelled
ReplyDeleteReally like the new format with all the demos showing. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYes, 8.15 mil viewers (third highest rated episode since the premiere) for STALKER...................take that TV Critics! Congratulations, Maggie Q, Dylan McDermott, Kevin Williamson. 4 THE HOLIDAYS, I am Nobody!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, glad you like it.
ReplyDeleteLast i heard their season ends after 13 episodes but it wasn't formally canceled (as of 5 hrs ago) yet.
