This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)
Can't see the tables? Check out our Troubleshooting Guide
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
Oh Cristela is up! I hope it doesn't adjust down though.
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's doing OK.
ReplyDeleteWell Constantine is done. Wonder what NBC will air after it's done till Hannibal returns. Aquarius, maybe?
ReplyDeleteDon't see Cristela getting a back-order, either.
Oh, CBS - is this a non-Saturday nightly low? What were they thinking airing this during Nov sweeps? What's the point of 25 H50 episodes then? They have really made some questionable calls with schedule this fall.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason it's up is because Last Man Standing surged to a 1.5. If it didn't go up from a 1.0, it should have been pulled on the spot.
ReplyDeleteIn general, I think it's a mediocre performer, though it's not hurting the night overall.
Season high for Last Man Standing?
ReplyDeleteWoah, Last Man Standing pulled a solid for ABC!
ReplyDeleteCristela should have beneffited more from its lead in. And that's oddly lower than usual for Shark Tank.
Constantine is done.
Yes it is.
ReplyDeleteConstantine was really good last night, it was such a great ending!!! Finally the type of episode I have been wanting, what did it get?
ReplyDeleteLMS did amazing. ABC will again try to do away with the show again at the end of the season but this show keeps giving them reasons not to.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the ratings for Constantine, I don't see them yet?
ReplyDeleteIt's in the table.
ReplyDeleteA 0.8
ReplyDeleteNo TAR helped.
ReplyDeleteWas it a better episode than the first three? I'm not sure if I want to keep watching it, way too procedural.
ReplyDeleteConstantine is not doing bad enough to justify pulling it before it airs all 13 episodes.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was a great episode, the first one I think that really captured the show. A bit too late I guess.
ReplyDeleteCertainly, but the ability to spike when there is lower competition shouldn't be taken from granted and it still has value. Besides, it's not like the 1.2 level it usually hangs around is that bad either.
ReplyDelete20/20 on the other hand had another horrible performance after a couple of decent weeks. And this time there was no dateline on the hour to justify it.
Poor Constantine, the ratings just aren't there. Shame, I like the show and it's getting
ReplyDeleteI didn't say they'd pull it. But Hannibal return in April/May, and Constantine will probably be done by January.
ReplyDelete18-34 ratings per showbuzzdaily:
ReplyDeleteNBC:
Dateline: 0.6
Grimm: 0.5
Constantine: 0.5
ABC:
LMS: 1.0
Cristela: 0.8
Shark Tank: 1.0 (season low?)
20/20: 0.7
CBS:
Hollywood Film Awards: 0.3
CW:
WIIAW: 0.4
ANTM: 0.4
FOX:
Repeats (8-10PM): 0.4
Hard refresh (Ctrl+F5)
ReplyDeleteIts up now. Must of been my internet.
ReplyDeleteMan I really wish Grimm would go up :( Hopefully it still gets renewed. I'm a little nervous.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you assuming that Hannibal returns so late? Last year it returned late February, so I assume the same can happen this year as well.
ReplyDeleteGrimm is certain to be renewed.
ReplyDeleteConstantine is Dunzo!!
ReplyDeleteWow LMS that is pretty good! And cristela will still be cancelled
ReplyDeleteYeah, but its lifespam is getting shorter and shorter.
ReplyDeleteWhile I expect Grimm to do regularly 1.3 and even spiking at 1.5, the declines are becoming more and more noticeable. I'm starting to wonder if it will outlive a 5th season.
On the show's favor, it has had incredible legs for a show that started on Fridays and has constantly done well there.
It will still be cancelled
ReplyDeleteI'm not assuming, they announced earlier that it will be returning in April/May. http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/09/hannibal-season-3-will-not-air-until.html
ReplyDelete4 seasons is not bad for this type of show.
ReplyDeleteI think it was confirmed by a tweet by Bryan Fuller. I do remember an announcement of the sort
ReplyDeleteYes, 5 seasons for a decent Friday show on NBC is impressive.
ReplyDeleteEspecially for a show like Grimm; 4 season when you had your entire run on Fridays nights? That's impressive!
ReplyDeleteI think Aquarius will be after The Voice in march. ( State Of Affair has only 15 episodes )
ReplyDeleteI also think some people are mad that Nick hasn't had any Grimm powers this season.
ReplyDelete1.1 for Fridays? I'd say its ok. Not good, not bad, just ok.
ReplyDeleteAnything under 1.0 is considered bad, 1.0-1.2 is ok,1.3 is good, and everything from 1.5 and above is just outstanding for Fridays night
That is terrible for the Hollywood Film awards. Next week all shows on abx will go down when cbs has their normal friday shows again
ReplyDeleteYep. FoTB should replace it.
ReplyDeleteWhy? I don't watch the show, but I do know things about it and hearing about Nick's lack of Grimm's powers is super weird.
ReplyDeleteLast year, Grimm finished ~83% of NBC's drama average. This year, it is performing at ~80% of NBC's drama average. That's barely any decline.
ReplyDeleteOn top of that:
1) The show is on a ratings level that would probably ensure its renewal on a weekday, let alone on a Friday, in which these 80% are more like 100-110%
2) It just scored a very nice syndication deal and it actually looks to me like the type of show that will excel in syndication a la Supernatural, so more episodes would always have a very big upside non ratings related.
The show is fine.
Shark Tank and 20 20 are already down from last week.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me feel a lot better. Thanks omabin!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware. I am still not sure that cannot be changed though, networks do change those things sometimes. I think NBC was expecting Constantine to do better, I know I was! We'll see!
ReplyDeleteI am not.The show took a risk and is following it through.Nick will get his powers back by mid-season finale,i'm pretty sure of it!
ReplyDeleteAbc should move Cristela to Tuesdays with Fresh of the Boat. Pretty pretty please.
ReplyDeleteWhich is weird isn't it? How long have you been on spoilertv
ReplyDeleteIf they were to move a Friday show to Tuesday, why would they move the one show that is underperforming instead of the one that is doing more than enough for Fridays (LMS)?
ReplyDeleteexcept those episodes after The Voice of course :)
ReplyDeleteit'll get a 5th season, i'm very confident. NBC have bigger problems (Sundays after Football, Tuesday after The Voice, Thursdays.
ReplyDeleteit was hardly a horrible performance though, still #1 for the night.
ReplyDeletei don't think it should've been pulled if it remained at a 1.0.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.It has created a nice little niche audience for them in the friday night slot.Plus they still are struggling with the post-grimm slot.Constantine's performance indicates it will most likely be gone after it's 13 episode run.
ReplyDeleteI believe Shark Tank was a special kind of episode which is probably why. About a couple of months when i realized they have the ratings up the fastest lol.
ReplyDeleteI actually think its a nice change of pace for the show having Nick with now powers. I think the first four episodes of season 4 have been better then 3 so far.
ReplyDeleteWell, they didn't do much of anything to prop up Grimm's ratings, they were slightly above its Fridays ratings. Same with its Monday run, and its episode on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteGrimm has been tried out in multiple timeslots, and surprisingly it only really clicked on Fridays
Maybe under the notion that Cristella could do better off Friday, but aside from that I don't see any other reason... and actually I don't think Cristella could do better off Friday
ReplyDeleteCause LMS has a steady fanbase and holds of strong enough. Cristela could benefit from it. I know its not logical but as a last chnace to resurface.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.The wesen this season are much more intriguing IMO.
ReplyDeleteConstantine's saving grace might be the DVR numbers. Premiere gained alot in L+7 it seems.
ReplyDeletemaking the assumption that Cristella would do better on another day from what evidence?
ReplyDeleteDracually also had big L+7 lifts and we know how that ended
ReplyDeleteJust wishfull thinking! Nothing else. And give itbone last try before giving up on it.
ReplyDeleteLast Man Standing is doing pretty good numbers, yes there is significantly less competition, but as we all know, a lot of times less competition doesn't translate into better ratings. Pretty good in my opinion. Cristela rising a bit is good but not good enough, but it's better than nothing.
ReplyDeleteBye bye Constantine.
ReplyDeleteI would add Wednesdays in there. Laura is pulling the same numbers on Grimm and that's on a weekday and as a freshman and Chicago PD isn't doing that much better (crossover excluded). SVU does well but that show has to end at some point.
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame for Constantine .great ep terrible ratings.
ReplyDelete20/20 was not #1 for the night. Maybe for the hour but not for the night. And a 1.2 out of a 1.8 lead-in (what ST had at the half hour) is just bad IMO, especially considering it was going up against sub 1 competition from both nets.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I think I read C3 ratings are the ones that count the most.
ReplyDeleteI still hope Constantine somehow manages to improve. I read the pilot wasn't received well by critics (but I also read praising about Matt Ryan's performance as Constantine), and if people spread the word 'It's bad', it's hard for it to rise.
I weep for Constantine.
ReplyDeletePoor Constantine :(
ReplyDeleteStill hoping The CW picks it up after it's cancelled so they can merge it into their DC universe.
That was before the networks and nielsens started to include L+7 rating in all the broadcast shows' numbers!
ReplyDeleteIts still too early to tell about Constantine! It just aired its first four episodes! Hopefully it will improve in the ratings, or moved to a new timeslot!
ReplyDeleteSorry for some reason I thought you said "Shark Tank" had a horrible performance. Haha
ReplyDeleteNo problem ;)
