Black-ish Constantine iZombie Raina Reveals Scorpion The Affair The Blacklist The Goldbergs The Librarians The Mentalist The Messengers The Walking DeadThanks for tuning in to the sixteenth edition of our weekly article, Raina Reveals, which covers exclusive spoilers and teasers brought to you by The SpoilerTV Team! We hope you enjoyed last week's scoop. This week's article will include answers to questions sent in via our Ask Raina form. If you are desperate for details on a particular show be sure to send your question in via the form at the end of the article.
Wolf: Any scoop on the next episode of Constantine?
This week's episode introduces us to Jim Corrigan (Emmett J. Scanlan) who works at the NOLA Police Department. We will see Jim work together with Zed and will learn that Zed knows something about Jim's childhood (through her visions). We will find out why Zed left home and she will share an interesting moment with Constantine. The episode features several other characters including Chas, Papa Midnite and Papa Midnite's sister and ends with Constantine receiving a warning that someone will be betrayed.
Vanessa: Is iZombie more drama and action or is it a dramedy?
We saw an early version of the pilot this week and would say it falls under a mixture of genres including comedy, drama and crime. The pilot episode had many hints of drama but centred mostly on the (slightly) humorous side of the events which take place before and after Liv (Rose McIver) becomes a zombie. There is some drama mostly surrounding Liv's past relationships, especially that with her soul-mate Major (Robert Buckley) and Liv's worry that he is moving on. The crime portion follows Liv helping Detective Clive Babinaux (Malcolm Goodwin) solve cases by ingesting victim's brains and having visions of how they were killed. The series is scheduled to air in early 2015 so be sure to track our iZombie tag as we reveal more teasers over the coming months.
Diana: Any scoop on The Affair?
In the upcoming episode the affair will be revealed to various characters. As to be expected, slimy Oscar has something to do with it; Not only does he try to blackmail Noah, he also tells Helen or Cole about their spouse's infidelity. And lastly: Remember the child Allison mentioned during the interrogation? You will get a pretty clear idea about who the father might be by episode's end.
Krys: I'm really looking forward to The Librarians, anything you can share?
In the first episodes we will learn that one of the new Librarians has a life threatening medical disorder. Eve (Rebecca Romijn) will receive a proposition she can't turn down and Flynn (Noah Wyle) will be betrayed by someone he thought he could trust. We will also find out that Jake (Christian Kane) is smarter than he first appears.
Elaine: Can you give us anything about season 7 of The Mentalist?
The season premiere picks up two weeks after the events of the finale. We will see some really nice moments between Lisbon and Jane, with Lisbon talking to Jane about taking a step forward in their relationship. The case of the week involves a bowling alley, drugs, guns and a kidnapping and we also find out why Kim Fischer (Emily Swallow) left.
Terry: Can you tell us anything about Shantel VanSanten's character on The Messengers?
Shantel plays Vera Buckley, a scientist working for the National Deep Space Agency. Vera is one of the first messengers we meet in the pilot episode. She works along side technician Alan Harris (Craig Frank) and they are the first to notice the incoming meteor. She is struck down by the energy pulse given off when the meteor crashes and comes back to life as a messenger, an angel of the apocalypse. Each of the messengers awaken with a specific power. While we don't learn about Vera's power in the first episode, she does have one and we will see and learn more about it a few episodes in.
