    well this episode turned out to be much better than i thought it would be. its messed up what's happening to Bonnie but no worries cause damon is going to get her back. 😁 dont care for steroline. they shouldn't be a couple. also we know delena is endgame, all this drama is just dragging.

    I have to say this is my favorite episode so far love that they tied Jo to the twins say Kai is crazy sociopath hope they kill him please get Bonnie out that prison already

    Stefan realized he may actually have feelings for Caroline. It was so obvious I actually heard it click in his head. This season has been rough for Steroline shippers, but they've made more progress in these episodes than they have in the rest of the season combined.

    Well...most of that was underwhelming, except for ALL the flashbacks of Kai, Jo, Luke, and Liv. I REALLY enjoyed that. Loved the whole "serial killer" vibe. It's been a long time since the acting on that was...well, well acted. LOL I really love Kai and all his craziness. Seriously those scenes were well done. Also enjoyed Konnie scenes, like always they make me laugh.

    The boys' road trip was a little flat, I wanted more with the boys, instead I got some boring ass Dad talking about his coven comes before family, and all of a sudden wants to take out his daughter. But nonetheless, it was still the most exciting part of the episode. Btw, TOTALLY CALLED IT! Knew something was there and as soon as Stefan kicked Ms. Cuddles in the air, I laughed so hard b/c I knew it.

    I didn't care for anything else in the episode. Although I did call that Elena would break up with Liam, so I can be happy about that. The scene with her and Stefan on the phone made me roll my eyes. I was like, Elena please you are not in love with this dude. Smh Alaric still has a chance to be happy, with his "3 date girlfriend." I'm with Damon on that one. =/ ......and I got my Steroline scene with a whole bunch of tension and Stefan admitting that he pushed her away THE MOST!!! I KNEW IT!! My feels!! Finally explains that phone breaking scene. And Caroline was about to cry, awwww. I'm here for you Care!

    Sooo, Kai's "ultimate plan" is to kill Jo by merging, and gaining total access of power to become a leader of the Gemini Coven??? Ummmmm, yeahhhhhhhh..........I liked him before the plan was revealed, b/c it sounds lame. Well...still better than Silas. And if Liv and Luke have to succumb to their coven's wishes, I hope Luke comes out on top. I like him. And Damon, my Damon, I was very surprised that you compelled Alaric! We haven't seen that since season 1. (Even though he had vervain in his hand). I actually enjoyed that. I cracked up tbh, I said "wow he really wants Bonnie out of there." I really hope it doesn't backfire on Ric in someway. Also, I'm a little saddened that I didn't get my Fade Into You by Mazzy Star.I was hoping for that. Just saying.

    Here here!!! I Sooo wanted to hear what he had to say. In that moment I saw it click too!! Awwww, so sweet! And now we have to wait two freaking weeks! Sighhhh, but until then, I will watch that scene over and over. Lol

    Where to begin (No Spoilers)?
    Mala(Kai) - everything Kai (storyline/character)..........RULES!
    Alaric - is the MAN.
    Gemini Coven storyline - Jules throwing plot twist (instead of plot holes) at her "Mad Tea Party"!
    Damon/Stefan - doing the "Hardy Boys" in Portland, Oregon with Alaric................."TOO COOL!"
    Ms. Cuddles - 3 actually, Damon. 1) holding Bonnie's power 2) made the trip from "Purgatory 94" and 3) discovered the "Gemini Coven's" invisible house, while only having "cotton for brains"!
    Bamon - Besties 4ever and ever and ever and ever and.............................................................
    Enzo - Fall Finale.............Jules WTF?
    Really entertaining/enjoyable episode. Is anyone else old enough to remember that "cool" pager trick used at the end..............yes we're that old (lol)! BECAUSE DIARIES ARE STILL 4 READING, I am Nobody!!!

    great episode, i know we were told and shown in small places but damn those flashbacks, Kai is a total and complete psychopath i mean he was actually going to kill two small children, called the Twitches being the Doc and Kai's siblings when she asked her if they knew each other and i remembered the two little blonde kids in the flashback, stefan definitely has feelings for caroline and damn i thought we would get more damon and elena scenes after the Director built up all this hype and in the end all we got was this small scene between them

    This episode was mostly an info dump about the Gemini coven. I'm glad it's all out and everything.


    I didn't like that the Liv/Tyler was a rip-off of a Forwood scene from Season 2 (cuddling on the couch). I'm really not liking Caroline this season. She just comes off as so controlling and insensitive to other people (the way she was treating everyone at the dinner). I hope Stefan never develops romantic feelings for Caroline - I liked that he sees her as a friend but nothing more and that's exactly what he had with Lexi.

    BEST episode of the season so far! The episode was well-written and I liked that it focussed on a real story other than the usual couples angst (or maybe I just didn't pay attention to the Steroline and Delena drama because the rest of the story was so good). I loved the history behind Jo and the twins. Kai is a psychopath and I can't believe he figured out his sister's hiding place. and I loved the part with the twins and Jo. So if he's getting out, I'm hoping that they don't waste time getting Bonnie out since there's no reason to keep the prison locked.


    The best outcome would be that Jo turns out to be stronger than Kai and she absorbs all of this powers, so the twins get to live. Worst outcome? Plec and viewers decide that the actor playing Kai is sooooo hot that he just HAS to stick around as a regular like Klaus. Jus.....t no......I

    It was definitely the best episode of the season so far.
    All the info regarding the gemini coven was surprising.The flashback sequences were brilliantly portrayed!I knew the wonder twins were somehow related to gemini coven but them turning out to be jo's siblings was surprising.I absolutely loved all the kai and bonnie stuff.Kai has turned out to be such a fascinating villain.I am guessing he comes to mystic falls next episode!I just hope there's some way jo survives the merge whenever it happens,which will happen no doubt.The road trip was surprisingly fresh and fun to watch.When the brothers are not at each other's throats all the time,they are so much fun together.Alaric was dumb enough not to take vervain after he became human,he would definitely take some time adjusting.I'm so very glad elena broke off with liam and also came clean to him before compelling him.Good riddance.Apart from liam's bad acting,this episode barely had any flaws! A definite thumbs up to the writers for this installment!

    Yeah because that makes sense. The writers do ALL of this build up, only for Stefan to say "It's never going to happen" again.


    Although I suppose it's possible that they would do that. If you think about it, the writers have spent years alienating their fanbase. Making Stefan reject Caroline would be pretty on par with their self destructive behavior.


    Right now, Steroline is talked about and discussed more than any other ship on the show, even more than Delena. If they wanted to sabotage their show, going the just friends route would be a good way to do it.

    It was great finally!I was waiting for so long to see Mr Parish and the Gemini Coven.Kai as awesome as evil and i enjoyed his scenes with Bonnie.I didn't get it was Caroline was a bitch when Luke and Liv were talking about their past.She was a little annoying and she is my favorite.Also i didn't like that Damon compelled Alaric.You're not doing this to your friend Damon,i'm sorry.
    Poor Jo....what a family.I liked Elena and Liam.Liam was something fresh for Elena than the Salvatore's brothers.Also Stefan dear,ok you've been a jerk but stop apologize to Caroline.It's not your fault that you don't have romantic feelings for her.You asked sorry,now leave her alone to deal with herself.
    Show us action and leave the romance writers so you can do good episodes like this.

    No,i'm sorry.You are the minority.People prefer Caroline and Stefan as friends and not as a couple.So if really the writers want to sabotage their show,your route is the safe way to do it.
    The writers said that Steroline is one sided love story.If people don't get it,what can we do.

    "Steroline is talked about and discussed more than any other ship on the show, even more than Delena." Ain't it the truth. There's Soooo many Steroline shippers out there. I've even seen fans who were completely against it for years NOW being on board with it and talking about how their chemistry is the best part of the hour, (well one of the best). And these are anti shippers/Klaroline shippers, any fan that wasn't for it, are now saying, they enjoy/see it, in these last few episodes since season 6 Started. I love when the fans "crossover" when you think they never would. It's very exciting. I see a Steroline shipper born everyday. There's definitely a huge majority.

    You mean like Steroline and Delena?Did you take a look at the ratings recently?How many viewers tell me really:)
    Trust me i know exactly what i'm talking about because i talk with people and i also read.And do you know what my experience says?That most of the Steroline shippers are people who ship and Delena.What a coincidence:)I can't even take it seriously as a ship.....forgive me.

    I wish you best of luck when Steroline will happen.I don't now how many viewers will be here then,but you will enjoy it even alone or as part of the minority....because majority No.

    After last week's epic fiasco, I gotta say this was a great episode! I thought the Gemini backstory was interesting and compelling, and the mechanics of the episode reminded me of some great seasons 1 and 2 episodes. I would really like to see an episode giving us the backstory of the Bennets, though. It could be awesome. Oh, the Stefan and Elena phonecall was really sweet.

    There wasn't a lot of Delena but that one scene, as any scene with them, still made me sigh and roll my eyes, yes, I'm that tired and had enough of their 678768th fight and or attempt to get together again. It's old and boring. Also, I tried to keep my mind open for Steroline, but I just can't see them romantically and the way they destroyed their friendship just sealed the deal for me. It woud be great if the writers deviated from the obvious hookup, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Bottomline, that Steroline scene made me want to see them just hug it out and be awesome together again, not to kiss or anything like that. It's all forced.



    I'm rooting for Bonnie so much! She better get out of there soon, she doesn't deserve that.

    That's the focal point, people are denying or think that those two are going to remain friends but they forget it's already too late. Caroline has feelings for Stefan that by himself means they are no longer friends so that part is already gone. Also like you said the writers keep putting them in scenes together and building the angst between them, plus, in last season finale, lexi kept talking about Stefan feelings for Caroline(again i don't htink the writers would have wasted time for all this to lead to "let's stay friends", as an avid tv show watcher that never happens).
    I think people should stop judging things based on what they want. Isn't it more interesting watching and then judge if you liked it or not?

    I'm so sick of people saying that TVD ratings have gone down because of the ships. What keeps fans around is the good writing and fresh new material. Granted... the writing in season 4 was bad but fans still stuck it out because there were some redeeming qualities like Katherine, the originals and seeing Elena go all badass. TVD last season, however was a trainwreck. The originals left and it was full of boring story lines... the travellers, doppelgängers, they killed off people... brought them back... it was horrible and that's when the ratings took a drastic turn for the worse and hit under the 2mil mark. It also doesn't help that TVD is an ageing show and vampires, in general are big time going out of fashion. Just look at true bloods ratings for the last season.

    This season is doing much better. They're focusing on witches and covens (which IMO they should have done ages ago), there's more Bonnie, the triangle is no longer in play (thank god!), Enzo has become a regular and Kai is an awesome villain. Sadly though once a show looses viewers it's very hard to get them back again. The lowest rated episode last season was Promised Land with 1.5mil. The season 6 average is around 1.5-1.7mil so it's holding steady and that's probably the best they can hope for, after the damage that was done last season. So when you take all those things into consideration ships are a very small part of it

    I can't disagree with you.Season 5 was bad because it was around romance and only.In fact in a bad way.I want action more and romance less.And for God sake one good friendship left one the show now it's gone....for romance.
    The storyline is much better this season but the viewers are gone.You see?

    Listen,i would support that even if i adore the friendship if Stefan was in love with Caroline.But he is not and that makes her cry.I don't like it.That doesn't deserve to both of them because they look like idiots.When you are in love with someone you don't need people to push you to be.You know that you're in love.And Stefan is not in love and i don't blame him.

    I loved this episode. The Alaric/Stefan/Damon banter was hilarious, it was great to see Kai's history and I loved finding out more about the twins. Stefan/Caroline were perfect as usual. The only thing I don't like is that Damon compelled Alaric. His determination to get Bonnie back is sweet but I felt like there was a bit of character regression

    Might I remind you that something like this happened before? Damon fell in love with Elena long before she fell for him, and for the majority of that time she only saw him as a friend/sometimes enemy. That was completely one sided for a long time.


    Just because you see someone as a friend now doesn't mean you'll always see them that way, and just because you see them as more than a friend doesn't mean you won't be friends again eventually (Stelena).


    Nothing in this show is set in stone.

    Awesome episode!Alaric,Damon and Stefan together were incredible and very funny.But Damon shouldn't have compelled Alaric.I know he wants to get Bonnie back (like everyone)but Alaric is his friend too.
    I liked Kai's flashback. This confirms that he's a total psycho.And why does he have to hurt Bonnie so many times?She doesn't deserve it.
    Liv and Luke are Kai and Jo's siblings!I didn't see that coming. What a disfunctional family.
    And Elena broke up with Liam!I really didn't like that guy. I hope he won't appear again.I'm glad the episode didn't focus on couples(Delena and Steroline). Last episode wasn't very good because of that.

    Yeah, steroline fanbase wasn't as big as the others because writers kept their scenes platonic for too long, even though subtly both character were into each other. Caroline's was more obvious so I could see it but Stefan's can be interpreted as differently so it was harder to see it but since the second half of the season 5 it's like screaming. Stefan can deny it and wants to be friends as much as he wants but if he opens himself to idea, it's bound to happen.


    And steroline fans growing faster than I expected. Last season their scenes were viewed 10000-20000 on youtube but their scene at the end of 6x07 has been watched over 70000 in one week. That means the difference since than is between x4 and x6. It's really growing faster and these antis just doesn't really have proper arguments against them but "we want them friends" "we want stelena/klaroline" "they don't have chemistry" etc.


    The last anti article I read about sterolina was a pro klaroline article and the only reason was Stefan doesn't deserve Caroline and he treats her badly this season. And then one episode later Stefan comes and says "I had to push you away the most because I didn't want to cry anymore" which blows out the article pretty harshly lol

    At first I thought this episode was ok but then I realized what I hated so much about it. Kai supposedly murdered his family when he was 22 back at 1994.. 20 years ago.. But.. How can Luke and Liv only turn 22 now when they weren't 2 years old in those flashbacks but more like 7-8 years old. Also, Jo doesn't look 42 to me.. And when a show sucks so bad in simple meth, I just find this storyline dumb personally.

    Ok, good to know, I don't remember them saying this was 2012 on the show, but the twins still didn't look 4 years old in the flashbacks and Jo still looks younger than 40.
