    That was some intense Steroline. Every episode things are changing between them. Stefan still has a lot to make up for, but now their feelings are up in the air. Caroline is still angry, as she should be, but I see this as a good thing. This show is slowly remaking what they are to each other as they break out of the friendzone. I can't wait to see what happens next.

    OMG!!! What are they doing to me????? I can't take this!!!! I enjoyed this episode and yet iI'mreally freaking sad at the same time.!!! I didn't care too much for my OTP (Delena) these past couple weeks, mostly b/c I knew it would be bad when they reunited. BUT I got a lot more than I thought. They danced to the song Elena first told Damon she loved him AFTER the SB broke, she ditched that boring Liam to try and remember, she even crossed the boarder (Like everyone suggested she'd do), Damon let her go, and I finally got my rain kiss. Which, to me, was so sweet.

    HOWEVER; There are NOT the pair that is killing me right now. It's my other ship, My GPC. (Guilty pleasure couple) STEROLINE!!!! GOd!!! GOD!!!!!! That scene killed me!!! Their heart to heart, OH MY GOD!!!! First of all, Enzo's a dick!!! I can not believe he did that!!! That pissed me off! THAT WAS NOT YOUR SECRET TO TELL!! He was supposed to win her back, and figure it out! Not have you exploit her!!! God! The writers are pissing me off. First, you separate them, then you break up their friendship, then you make it awkward, then you spill the beans, THEN You give us hope!!!! With this line of...."I didn't say that." AND HIS APOLOGY WAS SO SINCERE!!! But it's not enough....DO SOMETHING!!! (Touches chest) my feels!!! My heart can't take this. Moving on....

    Kai and Bonnie. Loveee themmmm!!! Kai is so hilarious. "How do you feel?" "I feel likeI got stabbed in the stomach with an arrow." "Right..anywho." Hahahahaha Him with the bear was cute. Didn't buy his whole, "I would give anything to see my family" speech. But I did like the fake sensitivity. I really liked what Bonnie did with the bear,I thought that was very clever. Nice move Bonnie.

    Don't care for Liam finding out, Don't care about "Jolaric" although I am happy for him. But I WOULD'VE liked her all the way if she didn't get Ric turned so quickly. (Seriously they should've stressed that longer, may need to have another week to get over that). Anddd of course, no surprise there. The whole fandom called that!!!! When she lifted up her shirt I said..."well there's the scar, about time." So glad Tripp is dead..Sorry Matty. So THRILLED  Liz is alive...Yay Caroline!! If Liz died that would've broke my heart. I half expected Tripp's men to shoot Liz in the back right after Tripp died, but I'm glad it didn't go down that way.

    Looking forward to the Friendsgiving episode next week.

    I am DYING! I loved every minute of it, and his eyes were so intense looking at her. I loved her speech. All of it was great, but gawddddd did they kill me tonight. So. Much. Angst.

    I didn't like it at all aside from the Bonnie/Kai stuff and Jo is starting to grow on me - she's clearly Kai's sister. I thought that before but this episode spelled it out when she confirmed she had her spleen cut out. Too bad Damon wasn't around to make the connection.

    I hated the Delena shipper fanservice, so unnecessary and it doesn't add anything to the episode by putting in the rain case nonsense.



    I really hate that they gave Caroline romantic feelings for Stefan and I wish they would just kill Enzo off.


    I want to see Matt join Team Human though and realize that none of the vampires are good people and he's better off without them.

    sucks when your favourite character becomes boring. why is stefan such a bore this season? overall i enjoyed the episode especially kai and bonnie scenes. already knew jo was the sis of kai. as for the rain kiss, it was fan service i mean ian and nina said a while back that they weren't up for it. but w.e the fans begged for it so it had to happen. my favorite part of the episode was damon finding the bear and his eyes lightning up realizing his best friend is alive.

    for me what i think the writers is trying to accomplish is try to satisfy Delena fanservice and then shift their focus on Steroline cause they can't really balance multiple of couples as you can see. If they try to balance they end up jus screwing everything. For me Steroline is gonna take its time slowly until Delena thing is done and over with and when Caroline is in danger who comes save the day? Stefan and he will realized how important Caroline is in his life and they will get back together probably the storyline will go like that

    DAMN IT ELENA WAS SUPPOSED TO GET HER MEMORIES BACK AAAAARGHHH!!!, cuddles is back awesome but how can they use her to bring back bonnie and speaking of bonnie she killed kai twice, damon really rubbed off on her and it was obvious that the Doc was kai's sister and can the human just die already i can't believe elena is still looking for him i thought she would find a different way to get her memories back and that was a hell of a memory whoo!!!and stefan and caroline keep having these moments where i think they'll kiss but nope and don't get me wrong i get that it's a slow burn but geez

    yeah one thing that's an upgrade is the absolute disappearance of the stefan-elena-damon love triangle THANK HEAVENS. love stefan and elena's friendship now, and I also like the current "happy" elena better than the one when she's with stefan or with damon. She's more independent and proactive, she decided to rush into mystic falls just to get her memories back; she's willing to risk her life so she won't feel guilty anymore - that's an act of heroism which we haven't seen from her in a long while.


    The bear was a clever way to tell damon bon bon is alive; so glad it's team save bonnie now; it would be SO amazing if saving bonnie is what brought the gang completely back together, since bonnie repeatedly saved everyone of them in past seasons. perfect symmetry!

    I just dont see stefan being madly in love with Caroline like he was with Elena. Their friendship is ruined just like stelena was ruined. Its awkward that stefan was blind and never suspected Caroline had a "thing" for him. Dont get me wrong, paul and candice look nice together but i just dont believe steroline yet. They feel forced.

    i wonder if anyone can just take another witch's powers like the warlocks on Charmed or if it's like DNA it's theirs and theirs alone because i don't see how they can use it to get bonnie out of the '94 prison and Cuddles appeared in the graveyard again i wonder if it's because that was the last place damon and bonnie ( and since Cuiddles is bonnie's it counts as her) were before they got trapped in the '94 prison

    I'm afraid no news as of yet, which is not a good sign IMO. SyFy did say it was unlikely they would save (pick - up) Continuum if ShowCase/Canada were to cancel the series. (Ref: Continuum Wikipedia Entry) - Nobody 4 NOW!!!

    Amazing episode, I loved every little piece of it, except for Elena ( I can't stand her right now). Damon is being amazing with everything, the expression on his face when he realizes that Bonnie is alive, priceless. If the writers turn him in murderess bastard again I'm going to be pissed. He totally is the dark hero of the show!!!!!

    That's the writers' fault. Instead of making characters that they created themselves sit on the sidelines while Damona and Elena fight and have sex for the 2000th time, they can give them compelling storylines. The universe has so much potential, as do the characters. They're just not given enough love.

    A very meh episode. 6X06 was the best episode of the season, IMO.

    Too much Delena, too much romance, beautiful-friendship-ruining Steroline, not very interesting storylines for the supporting characters, not enough screentime for my favorites.

    Loving Alaric though. <3 He just lost his amazing Original powers prematurely.

    The ending with Damon finding Bonnie's bear was the best part of the story. They need to get Bonnie out of that situation stat now that she gave up her powers. Watching those scenes with her and Kai was like watching one of those suspenseful horror movies that I usually try to avoid! I was almost worried that Kai would make it through and Bonnie wouldn't. I'm wondering why Damon didn't think she would be alive until seeing her bear. I know she was injured, but on a show where no one actually dies.....And I'm happy about the link between Kai and Jo, although I wouldn't be surprised if Jo does everything in her powers to keep that prison closed.


    The Damon Elena story was terrible. The chemistry between the two actors is just forced...not just on Elena's side. I think it was a mistake to create this piece of drama with Elena losing her memory of Damon. I guess they thought it would be fun for viewers to relive watching him win her back again, but it really isn't. I have money on Enzo being the one to kill Elena's boyfriend on Damon's behalf. It's right up his ally. As for Stefan and Caroline...meh. Her main annoyance with Stefan is that he didn't think of her during his grief. She's another favorite character that the writers have ruined by making extremely self-centered. Maybe she should be with Klaus, after all.


    Tyler and Liv are cute and I wish we'd have more scenes with them. And it would be nice if they did something with Luke, other than whatever he's doing now. And the storyline with the long-lost Salvatore relative (whose name I'm forgetting) is also interesting. I'm hoping they don't kill her off. The Delena and steroline drama can't sustain this show so they really need to try expanding other plots (that hopefully don't involve Enzo).. I don't mind Alaric being human...the whole original vampire thing didn't seem to fit anyway!

    I agree with almost everything. I want to add that I love human Alaric. I just wished they'd taken more advantage of his Original powers. At least for a few more episodes and a handful of super badass scenes (not just erasing Elena's memories ><.)

    The episode was underwhelming, especially compared to 6x06. My favorite bit, like you, was the final few seconds. It was perfect. The bear just sitting there. Damon drunk and immediately rushing to grab it. Saying Bonnie's name and holding the beat to him. I know that Ian is very fond of Kat Graham and that definitely showed in his performance.

    Last season, they seemed to have a lot more chemistry. I wish the writers had taken advantage of those moments then. But the way their relationship stands now, I think any move towards a romantic relationship would seem very forced.

    Liam doesn't bother me either, and I tend to like underdogs too (like Bonnie and Tyler). It doesn't make sense to dislike a character just because they get in the way of one's favorite ship.

    Another episode of mixed emotions-
    First the good ones-
    1.I like jo and alaric together.As they said themselves-weird and dysfunctional.
    2.Although everyone suspected for a long time now,it was nice to see the confirmation that jo is indeed kai's sister.Looking forward to the family reunion scenes soon coming up.
    3.Tyler & liv look good together,give them more screen-time.
    4.I loved caroline-stefan final confrontation scenes.Candice is killing it every episode!
    5.Although everyone knew tripp would bite the dust in this episode,i was surprised by the way he died.That was a total genious evil move befitting enzo.
    6.They explained the reason why elena's compulsion didn't wear off last episode or also showed the possibility of bringing elena's memory back by throwing her over the town border line briefly and then bringing her back.Good continuity there.
    7.I'm loving all the kai and bonnie scenes together.Kai has proved himself to be a worthy villain.Let's hope he sticks around for a while.

    Now the bad ones-
    1.Liam is right on calling on elena's lies but he is also arrogant,self-righteous and annoying completely unlike aaron last season.I'm not any shipper fan so that's not my reason to dislike him.I am pretty sure enzo will kill him before/in mid-season finale.He needs to go.
    2.The delena scenes were epic proportions boring.I am so tired of hearing how their love is so great.We get it,but we certainly don't need 30 mins of whining back and forth between them.The rain kiss scene was so forced and solely done for delena fan-servicing.It makes me wonder do the creatives even care abot other sane fans anymore or not.I guess not.
    3.Still not feeling anything for stefan.He has been the biggest disappointment of the season.He has absolutely no storyline and now he's making match-making for delena!Urgh!Give him something to do on the show or get him off.
    4.I was kinda curious about steroline at the beginning of the season but i have now lost any interest i had for them as a couple.Every scene between them is forced and awkward.It's ruined completely.Such a shame.They worked so good together as friends!
    5.It was definitely not enzo's place to tell caroline's feelings to stefan.That was a dick move!


    Overall,i think this show has/had potential but their incessant need to satisfy the delena fans will the death of this show!

    I'm having flashback to season 5, when tessa was doing the anchor spell, she used bonnie grimoire as a talisman because she couldn't be there. Maybe that's what the bear is because she transferred her power to it. That's probably how they are going to get her out.

    I confess, I am a Damon fan first and foremost, so any ep that has a lot of him in it is IMO awesome! I love his bad a$$, wildly unpridictable, arrogant, yet undeniably charming, cocky attitude, paired with his signature snarky, witty, brutally honest, often insulting, one liners. He’s reckless and impulsive and sometimes is a real dick, but I love his character. I think the actor has done an amazing job bringing the character to life and making him so enjoyable to watch. He has come a long way since S1, the old Damon would have gone out and drank somebody by now. We all know he lashes out when he’s hurt, but now he’s learnt to control himself. So for me, this ep was perfect. I loved the Delena moments (yes even the rain kiss…it was their choice to date in real life, just because they broke up doesn’t mean the story should be dictated by their personal choices. If they had a personal issue with those kind of scenes then I say “put on your big people panties and do your job”…and to the fans complaining it is fan service, who are you to say that isn’t exactly what the producers had in mind?! Delena could have been end-game all along, which I believe they were otherwise the show would have started with Delena and ended with Stelena. Anyway….) Those “speeches” they have about their feelings get me EVERY FRIGGIN TIME!! *sigh* I’m enjoying the tension between them right now, the dance was sexy, I could tell Damon was getting to Elena then she’d quickly panic and break the moments. She doesn’t remember them but she definitely feels a pull to him. But, man! When he told her he loved her enough to let her go because she was better without him….!!!! *swoon* LOVE IT!! And he lied so she wouldn’t think they were happy! Yep! That gets me right here!! *covers heart*

    Ok, so I did like other parts too. Damon messing with Alaric in the hospital was hilarious! I’m so glad Alaric is back, and tho I wish he had stayed a V long enough to give Elena back her memories, to be honest he was a horrible V. lol So I’m ok with him being human. I’m not stuck on Jo yet but I can see she will play a bigger role in the future. I wonder, with Enzo being a loose canon who likes to kill people, what Damon would do if Enzo tried to kill Alaric??? Hmmm.

    So, I get people are pissed at Enzo for ratting Caroline out but come on! That was a secret that needed to be ousted and Caroline wasn’t going to be doing it. It was overdo, it had to be done. IMO he did us all a favour, now that s/l won’t be dragged out longer than necessary.

    To be brutally honest, I could care less about Matt, Tyler, Jeremy, Liv and Luke (?)….they are a waste of screen time, especially the twins. But maybe they will be part of the Gemini coven and will have a role in the latter half of the season??

    TIME TO BRING BACK BONNIE!! OMG! Enough already! lol I loved that Damon found the bear during his wallowing in self pity with a bottle of booze binge. I hope he is as motivated and passionate to find and help Bonnie as he was when the others close to him needed him. I really hope we get more Bamon friendship this season.

    They really should consider changing the name of the show to The Fanservice Diaries or The Delena Diaries after this. It's pathetic how much fanservice the writers do, they undoubtedly did it this time by giving in to the Twitter hashtag #Delenarainkiss. These writers sold themselves to Twitter ass-kising. Are you freaking serious? How do you expect people to take your show seriously after this? And how obvious has it become? After such a rebound witht the first 5 episodes of the season, we're back to season 5 levels. Do I really need to watch Delena's 100th attempt at working and reminding each other that they suck together? Even if they made Delna the healthiest couple ever, scenes with these two have gotten so old and unappealing that no one really cares anymore.

    At least Damon found Mr. Cuddles and now I actually think that a Damon and Bonnie romance would be great, they wouldn't drag the show down with them. Stefan and Caroline, I don't know. I understand where her crush came from now, but I don't think Stefan will ever see her that way, and if he does, there will always be Elena throwing a wrench into his relationships, because he obviously still has fellings for her. I hope they focus on getting Bonnie back now, but the fanservice in this episode was ridiculous.


    Besides Mr. Cuddles, the only good things about this episode: Kai, he's proving to be a great villain, and they got rid of Tripp Fell!


    I expect the ratings to be still down or even lower, since they insist on the very things that drove so many people off the show last season.

    The episode was ok but it has been the worst episode of this season so far.When I saw that Delena rainkiss scene I almost laughed because it was so obvious that it was a fanservice scene... I knew this episode was going to be focused on Delena.My guess is that Elena will recover her memories in the mid-season and weiters will end this ridiculous storyline.
    Kai/Bonnie scenes are awesome. Bonnie is the smartest girl of tvd.I loved the last scene when Damon hugged the bear and smiled when he realized Bonnie was still alive.It was so sweet...
    Now it's obvious that Jo is Kai's sister. I like Jo and I hope she won't die. And I think Steroline is very forced as a romantic relationship. I prefer them as friends.

    I think that noone remembers if he has been killed. Elena didn´t know she died, neither did Ivy or Tripp or Vicki. They just don´t remember.

    It was awesome, and the delena rain kiss was a little fanservice because we all demanded it (Delena fans) but it was beautifully shot and explained and another great moment of this couple that proves that they are meant for each other, sorry not sorry haters, just live with it :)

    I can think of a couple of somewhat contrived options:
    1) Enzo compelled Tripp to forget what he was about to do (kill him).
    2) Enzo compelled Tripp after killing him (and before feeding him vampire blood, thus completing the transition) to forget that he died.

    In both cases, it would take Tripp some time to regain his memories just like Elena did in 4x01, so we can assume he had not regained the memories of his death at the time when the exchange took place.

    Option #2 is a little more hazy and might need some research as I don't remember if humans/vampires in transition can be compelled. As for option #1, we know vampires can compel someone to forget what they are about to do or say (like what Isobel did to Alaric before telling her she loved him.), and we have to assume the compulsion is still in place when they awaken from their brief slumber of death (for a period of time - until they start to remember.)

    The thing that bothers me the most is that TVD was supposed to be Stefan's story, and the conflict he was living being a vampire, now, everything has changed! he's pushed way way into the background to give more space to their precious Delena!!

    please PW!! leave the show, u deserve way better than this crapfest!

    Loved it! So well layered! The story is much better handled than in the previous season. The fifth season was so badly centered around the 100 th episode that the story got neglected but I really anticipate every new episode.
    Loved the Steroline stuff. Clueless Stefan was priceless. If he wants Caroline he has to earn her, big ultimate proving and determination needed.
    I enjoy this new improved Damon but how messy will it get between those along the way. And if its true that Nina requested less Delena scenes Bamon is quite the possibility.

    6 years later-the only thing i can say to him is-where the hell you went and what the hell is your story!You are barely 5 mins in the episodes!LOL!!

    Very good points! I must say, i totally agree with you about Stefan..he is right now the biggest disappointment of the season, along with the always annoying Elena. Stefan was a great character in the first seasons, but now he always looks apathetic, and with absolutely no storyline. It's ridiculous.

    That's funny "body" .... when Damon picked up the teddy, the first thing that flashed into my mind was "Bear-O_Gram" too..... There's a company in VT that advertises them every "Valentines" I also thought Enzo's one liner was the best of the episode....Slippery hands and touch screens.... not good combo. lol

    I assume that originates from the books(never read them)? They never seemed anywhere near where they could to me(at least on the show). They seem as out of place as Caroline & Stefan(considering how the writers executed it).

    Not really. From what I have seen most bamon shippers have never read the books. They've always had an interesting dynamic and up until the end of season 2 they had developed quite nicely. Until the cw axed their screen time according to Ian because they wanted to focus on the triangle. If you notice after season 2 they barely had any scenes. Until more recently.

    Awesome. Agree with the majority, that this season is one of (if not the) best. Bonnie was never the most interesting character for me, I loved her in the early seasons, but eventually her sacrificial / martyr act got a little boring and repetitive, even if it did make her one of the most loyal characters in the show, but I am so back on the Bonnie train this year. Delena: I don't hate them anymore. Damon is still my least favourite character, but this is possibly the only Delena obstacle that I've actually enjoyed, raising decent questions about how far Elena will go to remember him, but also why would she be willing to go this far if all she remembers is him being "a monster". Still not over Jenna, but Jo/Alaric is proving pretty decent, and I can't wait until we see Jo coming face to face with Kai, who is possibly my favourite villain this show has had (aside from Katherine of course). The obligatory "action plot" was great, that moment when Tripp's throat slit (even though I expected him to die this episode) actually surprised me, although they need to give Enzo something more to do if they want to justify making Michael Malarkey a regular. Then again they've never really known how to keep their non Elena, Damon, Stefan characters integrated into the plot, so I'm not too surprised. Speaking of, Tyler's brief scene with Liv was cute, she became a lot more interesting (and she was already miles ahead of some other characters) when she killed that guy to protect Tyler, and I'd much rather see more of Liv and Luke than have to endure the sheer boredom of Matt. And the best for last, Caroline. As much as I go back and forth between wishing they weren't risking my favourite relationship on the show, Caroline and Stefan's friendship, by bringing these romantic possibilities in, it did lead to that hospital scene, which Candice Accola pretty much knocked out of the park. I've always loved when they give her some great speeches to work with, but this was possibly her best work of the entire series, and they need to make sure they keep giving Candice and Kat decent material for the rest of the season. Although I'm fairly certain that if/when Bonnie returns, she'll have an emotional reunion episode, before fading into the background and reverting to the witch plot device she once was. But up until that inevitably happens, keep up the good work TVD, for the first time in 3 seasons, I actually feel the need to keep up to date with episodes instead of weaving in and out.

    Wow, did not intend to write nearly as much as that. But what can I say? I actually like this show again.

    Another amazing ep! Loved everything Delena, including the beautiful rainkiss, which I never understood the fandom's desire for until it was right in front of me and I was swooning away :) Perfect moment IMO! Steroline continues to be ouchy in the best way, I can't wait until they finally work thru their issues and get together. Damon finding Bonnie's bear was great, can't wait for him to mount a rescue mission for Bon Bon!

    Just a crazy far out idea. He IS,, turning into something of a Wuss. lolol
    He does the "I drink alone" thing well,, so he has that going for him.:).
    Damon as a "Male witch" would certainly be more entertaining then a "Whoa is me" Vampire man/child attitude.:))
    He can also see isn't easy for Bonnie to conjure up her spells. Let's see how well he does.!!! lol
