    Man I was bored. I missed Bamon, they were fun. Happy with Caroline, telling Stefan she doesn't want to be his friend, he was an ass and needs to make it up to her. He wasn't a very good friend. I'm beyond pissed that they're just going to leave Bonnie in hell (for now) and not even try to get her back. Instead it's all about Delana...not interested.

    naah..most weak episode for this season, along with 6x01! This season was being so good..i don't even need to say that i'm missing the Bamon's interactions, because well, of course! Elena is annoying as usual..and i'm so not here for Damon being jealous and immature again because of Elena..argh! I will skip episode 6x07 for sure!

    I liked human Alaric so much better than vampire Alaric, so I'm totally fine with this. I don't understand why Jo can't take Elena over the border and save her next - that way not only will she be human again but she'll also get all her memories back.

    I'm fine with Caroline & Stefan spending some time apart. They ruined their friendship by giving Caroline romantic feelings for him and I immediately lost interest in their friendship because of it.

    LMAO WHAT? so the first time Alaric died he could've been saved. Well Elena will have to find a way to love Damon again if they are going to make them the end game and anyways she has her diary and the photos and all that, so i am not worried.
    I dunno but i have feeling that Dr. Witch is Kai's mother.
    It was an OK episode- nothing to remember tbh. I wanted to see Bonnie tho

    This ep was awful. And wasn't there a thing that if a vampire dies, it breaks compulsion, or am I wrong with this show? Anyway, the only reason I wanted Alaric back was because he was a special vampire like Mikael. This is such crap. I don't want him human again. And I don't like this witch of a doctor or whatever she is.

    There is nothing between Caroline and Stefan. It's too forced.

    Elena is so boring without Damon.

    I don't like the town vampire hunters. I could go on and on with all the reasons I'm not a happy camper with this show anymore.

    Anti magic barrier turns you human and then you die. But since he was saved. Yeah. I wish that could be undone though. I liked Alaric's problems with vampirism. Besides the Delena shit, that is the biggest problem with this how. It resolves plots way too quickly and without reason. I really prefer The Originals at this point.

    First of all, talk about character regression.. it's obvious who I mean.. Damon, where was the development he had the past five episode.. oh yeah! That's just the Elena effect.. brings out his worst.. and after his cring-worthy "i want her to be miserable" line.. if I was still a DE shipper i'd drop it faster than burning coal.. 'coz that's the kind of talk you say behind you "soulmate's" back.. tell me again where's the epicness??? SMDH!!!
    Second, LET ELENA HAVE HER FREAKIN CHOICE!! If she wanna stay with new guy why should anyone object??? She deserves her happiness for God's sake..
    Third, STOP WITH THE DE cheerleading.. 'coz frankly NO BODY GIVES A DAMN!! It's like brainwashing viewers to accept it.' well bad news..

    ARGH!!! why did they have to do that with alaric at least elena doesn't seem to fake hate damon anymore they were supposed to kiss but of course it can't be that easy ARRGHH!!! damon was cute though trying to fix himself up when he was waiting for elena and telling her he'll meet her in her dorm room lol, i expected caroline and stefan to kiss, sorry still don't care about jeremy right now, that scene with damon "talking" to bonnie was actually great it showed how much they grew into friends and when he "told" bonnie he had to hang up was very telling of how much he misses her and when jeremy saw him in the room and said why would he "call" bonnie it seemed like he was kind of hurt when he said bonnie hated him when we know she doesn't anymore, and GOD ELENA BETTER GET HER MEMORIES BACK SOMEHOW PLEASE!!!!!!

    Another amazing ep! S6 continues to really hit it out of the park IMO :) Sooo happy Damon is back, loved the Delena and Steroline angst, Damon's call to Bonnie was great, the twist with Ric was interesting and a good way of delaying the inevitable.

    CAN'T WAIT for the next ep! Why isn't it Thursday already?! ;)

    Loved the episode! Damon was great, his call to Bonnie awesome. Cannot wait for him to find out she is alive. Hope it is him who brings her back. I liked Alaric as a vampire, so that part was lame, but to me it will be fun to watch how Damon has to work to get Elena back.

    Something I don't get... When a vampire that used compulsion dies... The compulsion is gone!!! Alarick died as a vampire. So why didn't Elena get her memories back? Another mistake by the writers?? When Elijah got daggerd, the compulsion of Katherine broke... When Caroline became a vampire she remeberd everything about Damon!

    In tumblr i saw a lot were complaining about the episode, so when I watched it I can understand their frustrations, but I enjoyed the episode. The only thing that bothered me was Caroline and Elena NOT asking about Bonnie!?!

    - I liked the reveal of Jo being a witch, who is possibly Kai's sister since Kai in present day should be 36 and her age matches.

    - Steroline is totally happening. I am loving the fighting and the angst. When Stefan ran up to Caroline, I think what pissed her off is that Stefan wants to go back to becoming friends. She has realized her feelings for Stefan and wants more. This scene reminds me of Dair "I don't want to be your friend Blair. I want more. I want you" Bitter Dair fan forever.

    The episode was OK, but it looks like the show has fallen back into its old routine. Alaric is human again, Damon is angsting over Elena (and will probably hurt people in the process). Bonnie's story is happening offscreen and Elena is once again confused about her feelings for Damon. Where have I heard that story before? The Elena/ Damon drama was so annoying and making Alaric revert to an original was a stupid plot device to prolong a drama that most viewers no longer give a crap about. I guess I'd feel sorry for Jeremy except that so many of his scenes with Bonnie were off-screen, that we never got to appreciate how much he cared about her. Plus there was that was the time when he cheated on her with a ghost.


    The writers missed their window for making Caroline and Stefan actually work. I miss the old Caroline. They've turned her into this whining self-centered person who only cares about Stefan's feelings towards her rather than actually just caring about Stefan. And I guess it's OK for Enzo to go around killing everyone, but Stefan is the one who should feel guilty all the time? The fact that Stefan never took advantage of Elena's compulsion to forget Damon and was the only person who reminder her about how she felt for Damon speaks volumes towards his loyalty to his brother. They need to stop making him feel guilty all the time.


    The characters that I've found the most interesting this season were sadly missing from this episode: Bonnie, Liz, Luke and Tyler....where were they? And Damon needs to stop brooding over Elena and make getting Bonnie back is priority. Clearly if he made it back, she can come back too....he just needs to find the Gemini witches. It was amazing how Damon's whole demeanor changed when talking to "Bonnie" on the phone. I like that side of Damon.

    I loved the episode. For the most part, I did. It might have been my favorite so far, because it was fast-paced, and full-packed, and everyone was direct and clear about their feelings/opinions/thoughts for once. Jo grew on me, Alaric basically apologized to Stefan for his unfair speech last episode, they showed Jeremy (though no Alaric/Jeremy interaction unfortunately :(), Matt voiced my thoughts about 'which vampires we like', lmao (ily for that), and when he told Sarah to leave MF and when he treated Enzo like the scumbag that he is.

    Now for the sucky part: it's aaaall about Delena. The Dalaric, Defan, Stelena, etc. scenes, too. It's all about them. And the other 80% of the time, we see Damon and Elena whining/thinking about one another.

    The promo for next episode did not help.

    I love that he is human again, and the whole 'curing a vampire once they're across the border' revelation is great. And I want Alaric to stay human. EXCEPT... I wish they'd exploited his abilities as an Original more. And not just as another Delena prop/plot device.

    Correct and Correct. I was also looking forward to Kai/Bonnie scenes tonight (not showing them, a fail attempt to making us think Bonnie bit it) Alaric becoming human!! Thus me hating Jo when I actually started to like her. I seriously wanted Alaric's vampirism to last longer. as SOON as he came back to life, I KNEW he came back human, (why they felt the need to have Caroline explain it was a waste of time, like c'mon, the fans know what went down, but Elena can be daft so w/e). ALSO, Tripp escaped, and no one saw him run, like really??? And they made it up for me with Steroline in that last scene (Cuz I felt jipped with the woods scene, could've lasted a bit longer). Steroline was good, and when she told him, "I don't want to be friends anymore" I didn't take that as a negative, I took it as a positive. B/c in that moment I thought great, now Stefan has to prove himself and how sorry he is, and win her back. I'll have fun watching that, but I at least want it dragged out for 3 Episodes.

    Besides all that, i was actually enjoying the episode, until all that crap they ruined for me, overall in the hour. Oh, and iI was happy i called Ivy's death in this episode. Although, i was wrong about HOW she'd die, so i was also happy about that.

    Elena and Caroline did ask about Bonnie. Damon/Stefan told Caroline Bonnie wasn't there. So Caroline told Elena, Bonnie wasn't there, when asked. It was at the very beginning of the episode.

Him rushing out to see her was the cutest. He just threw his drink down w/o taking another sip. Can't wait to see what he does/says next to try and win her over.

    Sigh...Dair. That was one of the best developed romantic relationships on a CW drama and the writers really killed it. The ending of Gossip Girl felt like they decided on the end-game couples based on a series of coin tosses. I really liked the idea of Steroline, but I feel like the writers are ruining it even before it's started.

    I'm going to make a pros-cons list:
    Pros:
    -Damon calling Bonnie and "telling"her how much he misses her.So sweet!
    -I loved how Stefan rescued Damon and Enzo.
    -Denzo and Dalaric reunion.
    -Ivy is dead!After she appeared in four episodes. That has to be a new record.
    Cons:
    -Where is Bonnie?!She didn't appeared in the episode and her storyline is the most interesting one.
    -I don't care about Damon and Elena and their 100th problem.
    Ps:Alaric was a vampire hunter,he was turned into an evil super Original vampire,then he died,he came back as a vampire and now he's human again. Am I
    the only one who thinks that this is a huge
    mess?And Jo is a witch!I'm sure she is related to Kai.

    The episode was a mix of good things & various bad ones-
    First the good ones-
    1.They didn't spent an entire episode of damon explaining about his whereabouts for these 4 months since we all know that already,saves a whole lot of time.
    2.The reunion between dalaric & denzo was very well played out without unnecessary melo-drama.
    3.Caroline not too eager to make up with stefan for the all the jerk moves he's made for these past 4 months and calling him out on that!You rock,girl!
    4.Matt telling sarah to get the hell away from the salvatores as far as possible & his logic was spot-on.Glad he's growing some backbone of his own contrary to playing the ever so supportive human friend to everyone!
    5.Jo turning out to be a witch was not a surprise but the way she confronted elena & jo takes courage and confidence!I like her & she can definitely stay.I wouldn't expect any less from kai's sister anyway!


    Now the bad ones-
    1.After spending delena less 5 episodes,they overplayed their angsty reunion melo-drama a little too hard for anyone sane to care.Stefan advocating for his bro wasn't helping much either,it just felt weird!
    2.Jo reaching the place where alaric ended up getting mortally injured with just the things she needed to save him is a little too convenient.
    3.Although they took away the option of elena's memories of damon being restored back by alaric,still taking away the vampirism from alaric so abruptly make end up harming his character in the long run.
    4.Jeremy needs to get a storyline,however small that is or get killed permanently coz his biceps ain't cutting it anymore!Even tyler has more of a purpose than him and he is the most useless character in the show IMO!!!
    5.last but not the least,what was the point of resurrecting ivy to kill her the next episode.For someone who seemed hellbent on proving that she was his real GF(Cough,cough),stefan sure as hell didn't seem to care a damn about her death!
    6.The show made me hate stefan so much this season which i didn't think was even an option!!

    The best episodes so far this season has been with Bonnie & Damon. Damon & Elena is Toxic to one another apparently because every since S4 they've had nothing but blockage in their ship. That is so tiresome and boring, going back and forth with that nonsense! I never understood SE shippers until this season. Both Stefan & Elena are nothing more than cowards so it's right they get together. Never liked Caroline but applaud her none forgiveness of Stefan's actions over the past months towards her. Damon has been belittled to obsessing over Elena when he spent quality time with Bonnie for months (😝😝😝) & Elena doesn't even want his ass (she's a coward 😨). Be strong weakling and handle your problems...👍👍👍!!!! That episode sucked. Just remembering previous episodes, Elena's compulsion should have ended when Alaric turned human again because the Vampirism was holding the compulsion in tact. Terrible job TVD writers!!! 👎👎👎

    LOL at Ivy surviving for 4 episodes in some form or other.....However, her fate was sadly sealed from the beginning.
    The absence of Bonnie was a complete travesty, given her story.

    Well wth are they supposed to say? If "she's not over there" and Damon is telling them she found peace, they can't do anything about it. Everyone who's found peace is never seen again. (Jenna for example). It's pretty hard to weep pver Bonnice, who to them has found peace, (which would be the best news they could hear about her) when they're all being targeted by a vampire hunter. Look, iI'm just confirming they asked about her, when you thought it wasn't addressed, but it was. Now you're upset that it wasn't addressed long? W/e don't kill the messenger. It was addressed, that's all. Just b/c it was cut short (like most things in this episode) doesn't mean they won't talk about it again.

    The rule is not that simple.When a vampire dies,his/her compulsion wears off automatically.In alaric's case,his vampirism was stripped away,sure,but he was saved in nick of time by jo before he could die permanently as a human.In season 2,when elijah was neutralised/dead-temporary,his compulsion wore off and katherine got out of the cave but that happened coz the man died for a certain time.Alaric never died,the two circumstances are not equal,so the outcome cannot be the same.It's a complicated explanation,but it's the best logical explanation i've got.

    They both died first,then the compulsion broke.Alaric never died,he became human.Both the circumstances are different.

    Whenever there is Delena in an episode, everyone seems to hate it so much, the episode was amazing and Delena is the most important thing on the show, so get over yourselfs and stop watching the show if you hate Delena so much.

    Yup, that's basically what I said. They could have taken more advantage of his Original-ness, but instead they only used it to erase Elena's memories and then made him human so they'd remained erased.

    I hate that this is becoming the Delena Diaries, so you don't have to tell me. But it happened, and for me personally, it's better that he became human again now than if he never did.

    I agree with most of this. Haha, except the killing off Jeremy part. They should give him a storyline though. It's not that difficult. They tried with the whole hunter thing and it was fun, but nowadays you sometimes forget he is a hunter. It's like someone else said, lmao; "Whether or not Jeremy is a hunter depends on who's writing the episode."

    Err, I don't think most people want Delena. Even many Delena fans agree that it's ridiculous that they're taking over the show. Let Delena have their love for all I care, but that shouldn't be at the cost of everyone and everything else dedicated fans of this show have loved for 5 years of their lives.

    Had the same thought, cause (I kind of remember) it was once stated out, that the compulsion wouldn't work anymore after the death of an original. And not being a vampire anymore should equal being dead, cause all your powers are gone. But then again, they might not play him as an original original, but rather a normal vampire...

    I love Delena but I get that some people don't and that's fine. Where people lose me is that is that I just don't know WTF some of the commenters here are expecting to happen??? Delena are the main couple so the show is always likely to focus a lot on them. That's the reality of the situation. People wanting the writers, in the ep after Damon returns from the dead, to ignore or play down the Delena relationship bc a small minority of people dislike the ship is very silly IMO. It's not a realistic expectation and the weekly ranting bc the main TVD ship continues to be the main ship does get a bit tiring.

    when is she gonna meet the Salvators?
    I'm curious about how this story will go down, obviously she can't just die because shes poor little orphan, and Kai will definitely spill the beans about her parents when he gets out, so im curious what kind of relationship shell develop with Stefan and Damon.
    seriously give awful Steroline some time apart and let Stefan spend some time with Sarah, he did really like her dad.

    I'm more than a little annoyed with this show...I feel like the writers are trying to force feed us this "steroline" crap...I am team stefan all the way...but I will NEVER like them together...call me weird but I miss Klaus on this show..and I actually Liked the idea of Klaroline...but Steroline is beyond forced right now...and I love Damon but really you spent months with Bonnie..made that cute voice mail and then go running back to being all about Elena...after Bonnie sacrificed herself AGAIN, and Damon couldn't think five minutes on hmmm lets SAVE BONNIE!...ugh im so sick of Elena...can we please get an Elena time out and bring Katherine back or something gosh this makes me sick....

Actually if you take a look at ratings and sites like this one, tumblr, other tv sites, people are sick of it. Season 5 was the delena season and it's pretty much a consensus that it sucked, mainly because the delena diaries took over the show. So the show is just a ship to you? Hahahahaha! I know its the cw but please. As much as u wish the shows name has never been the delena diaries, actually by that logic its pretty much stefan and elena's show since its their diaries that we see. Wake up!!

    Oh shit! Gah, now this is going to bother me till the end of time, just like how Stefan wasn't able to save both Matt and Elena or Elena and her parents from drowning (he's got super human strength jfc) and Damon's stupid fight with Kai before he returned home. I could always pretend that the vervain didn't affect Alaric since he still clung onto the steering wheel... only it did seem to slow him down.........

    What I don't get is how Tripp even had the chance to shoot him. If Alaric had been truly serious, he could have knocked the dude out in the blink of the eye. The vampires on the show, not to mention the Originals, can kill one at the snap of a finger no matter who they are when the writers want them to, but ONLY when they want them to, when it's convenient. I can (poorly) justify Tripp and Alaric's 'fight' by saying Alaric wasn't aiming to kill + he's a new vamp + he had underestimated Tripp (stupid thing really considering the guy took down Damon.)

    Sorry for the long rant. It just came pouring out.

    I didn't hate the episode...i still very much love TVD...although I'm not a #delena fan i see why everyone is so sick of it...they spent season 5 making that relationship the main focus "we cant be together, we are bad for each other ...blah blah blah" . even when she was with stefan the show seem to have more excitement because the main focus wasn't about if they were together or not...I'm not really a #stelena fan either... I'm just #TeamStefan, just love him...(just fyi) before anyone think i'm being bias...I love Damon but this show rocked so much more when Damon was the "hot, Single, extra crazy brother" lol his love for Elena is getting draining and it doesn't make his character fun to watch anymore either...just my opinion on why people are complaining about Delena.

    i loved your pros and cons. but i must say im so annoyed with caroline...she whines every single episode...Stefan honestly doesn't seem that into her and for them to keep torturing caroline is annoying...I really like that they was JUST FRIENDS and now they trying to keep putting in moments with them that seem weird. Stefan just seems NUMB like he doesn't need to be in a relationship right now... I honestly see more chemistry with Caroline and Enzo ...now that would be interesting to watch lol and STEFAN endorsing DELENA??? that was just so weird and i thought that kind of sucked...AND I really didn't like the Delena crap AGAIN....it was so boring and it took too much time in this episode.....i loved the moment when Damon called Bonnie phone it was so cute. BONNIE storyline is SAVING THIS SHOW...i said in another comment that we need a Elena time out but we might need a stefan time out too...I need them to bring in Katherine and Silas...those two were so much fun to watch! absolutely LOVE TO HATE THEM BAD BAD VILLIANS LOL.
