  1. Oh shit at the end. I hope Katrina was just pretending with baby Moloch but it seems unlikely. But getting invested in a reality show with Ichabod was hilarious.

    Great episode!

  2. Aw, I was really liking seeing Katrina work with Abbie and Ichabod, I was hoping she'd stay with them. Especially given her talks with Abbie-I like that they finally got a chance to properly hash out some of their issues and differences (and it sounds like Katrina's come to some sort of a...middle ground, as it were, in regards to dealing with Henry, which is good. She's still hopeful, but it sounds like a little realism is creeping in). I'm thinking her plan to stay with Abraham will backfire on her, and I wish she'd stayed with her husband and Abbie instead. But at the same time, if she's going to start regaining some of her strength, I'd LOVE to see her properly be able to screw with Abraham's mind. Maybe even Henry's as well.
I also like that Ichabod and Hawley are kinda starting to bond a bit as well. Ichabod's concern that Hawley treat Abbie well is sweet, but I like that, like Katrina and Abbie, he and Hawley are starting to click a little better. Again, some good character dynamics this week as well. And Hawley dragging Crane around a club was just highly entertaining in and of itself :D.
So. Ichabod's going to put all his trust in his wife, and Katrina has big plans for Abraham. Again, I somehow think this is not going to go as planned, but hey, I'm willing to see how it all plays out! Pretty good episode.

  3. Wish we had more TV watching moments with Ichabod and Katrina --- so funny.

  4. Lost Girl comes to Sleepy Hollow.

  5. She's bothering me, and she was bothering Abbie, and that bothered me. But of course they had to squeeze in the 5 second scene of "I was wrong, I was wrong, let's be besties" thing. (rolled eyes at that) But my BIGGEST problem is now that Abbie has "accepted her to be on the team." she goes right back to Abraham. I swear to god, if they go and get her one more time, of some backfired plan, with her life being at stake, thus putting the lives of Ichabbie in the balance, i'll hate her for the rest of the series. And that's all i'm going to say about that.

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved the succubus and i liked a lot of the dialog. The scene with Ichabod and Hawley was funny. Ichabod's "You need all the assistance you can get." was cute. Awww Ichabod talking smack. hahaha. And i liked that he was protective of Abbie (as i knew he would be) when he asked Hawley was his intentions were and that they better be honorable. And speaking of Abbie, i did not feel that her attitude tonight was based on jealousy. NOT AT ALL. It wasn't jealousy. It was more, feeling a bit neglected, which is completely understandable. Seeing as her and Ichabod have a bigger mission, and i'm glad Ichabod saw that in the end.

Abbie and Hawley- i don't see it. But god could they have layed that on any thicker??? Jesus! He drooled over her every chance he got, at least in the past episodes he was a little more subtle about it. Why they increased his attraction towards her by 1000 was kinda ridiculous. Otoh, if they're going to go this route with Abbie and Hawley (i'm an ichabbie shipper forever) then, i'd prefer that over Hawley and Jenny, b/c i sure as hell didn't see/feel it when she kissed him either. It just wasn't there. Personally, i'd like to see Jenny with Irving, them i liked. I saw a spark between them, it was little, but it was there, and it was nice.

Abbie and Katrina's scene with getting the heart was funny. Both of them seeing different things and freaking out. Omg, if my fear was in that bowl i would NOT have reached in there. lol i'd be all, "sorry Hawley. Nice knowing ya." hahahaha But that was hilarious...."That was gross." Abbie cracked me up, and that scene was intense. I literally said, "C'mon Abbie!" I do have one question though, how come Ichabod didn't get as "drawn in" as the others? He was able to strike her, but then again so was Hawley. I would say it's b/c Ichabod is a witness. But Hawley isn't a witness, so idk. I mean the succubus, she was just stating crap we already knew about Ichabod's love for Katrina. I don't know why the succubus said, "No matter how hard you try to hide your affections." and something about doubt, when every other word out of Ichabod's mouth is "my love for Katrina, Katrina is the love of my life, i love Katrina." (rolls eyes) we get it already! smh. That part just confused me when she was talking to Ichabod.

Henry's always nice to see. I didn't think the baby would survive, but OMG, Moloch is here!!! I wonder if he'll grow rapidly??? And was that smile on Katrina's face genuine or an act?

  6. I'm more for Hawley/Jenny, too, yeah. I think Jenny's brand of toughness could bode particularly well with Hawley. Abbie's good at keeping him in line when he gets a little too flirty or whatnot, but I think Jenny could really get him to shape up when he has his shadier moments.
I do agree that the moments with Abbie and Ichabod tonight didn't read so much as romantic jealousy as they did genuine protection in Ichabod's case and, as you note, possible neglect in Abbie's. He's about the closest thing she has to a true friend at the moment-even her relationship with her sister is a little strained right now-so yeah, I don't doubt she's feeling a little lonely and left out now that Ichabod and Katrina are spending so much time together. Plus, given she's single, she's got that "third wheel" thing going on, too-wanting to let them have their reunion time and not overstepping her boundaries all while still trying to make sure they stay focused on what they're supposed to do. Very awkward situation-I do not envy her position right now. I did love the moment between Abbie and Crane in the car, though. I like it when these characters get to have some proper heart-to-heart chats and get their issues out there.
I think the smile on Katrina's face was totally an act. Trying to look sincere enough for Henry and Abraham's sakes while letting some of her personal anxiousness at seeing just how far Henry is willing to go with his plans, and possibly wondering if she's made the right choice in coming back, show. I'm sitting here telling her to get the hell out of that house, myself, but...*Shrugs*. We'll see how that pans out.

  7. Hahaha, I said i was more for Hawley and Abbie not Hawley and Jenny. And Jenny is anything but tough when it comes to Hawley. She goes to "100% girly" in two seconds flat when he's around. It's weird tbh. I don't mind her showing a feminine side, but it's just a little too much for me. We all know they have a past, but i just felt they were laying it on a little too thick through BOTH episodes. Like they were trying to hard to sell it, and that didn't bode well with me.

I don't believe Abbie is the "third wheel" at all. If anything Katrina is the third wheel (more like the fifth wheel). But we're going to see different on that, b/c you're yay for her, and i am nay for her. Which i'm completely okay with, b/c all fans have different opinions on tv characters. So i'd just rather not get into that. And we'll just have to agree to disagree. But i do agree that Ichabod is like her best friend right now and her relationship with Jenny is a bit strained. As for her being single, i really don't think she's in the mood for some type of "romantic relationship" given their situation ATM. I believe she feels more in the game w/o any of those distractions. And i'm with her on that, b/c anyone she brings in the game will be in mortal danger. LOL But who knows, Hawley may "sneak up on her." But despite the little looks she gave him tonight, i still don't feel like she's into him.

You enjoyed the car scene huh? Yeah that was nice. But i liked the scene when Ichabod said him and Katrina could "cut a rug" back in the day, and Abbie said, "Crane you like to dance?" and he said wouldn't you like to see, and she smiled wide. That was sooo cute. (Nicole is so pretty) then Ichabod kept naming all the dances he enjoyed. LOL...not gonna lie, was kinda hoping they'd have a dancing scene. hahaha Either with Abbie or Katrina, idc. (ok more Abbie) I just wanted to see him, shake his booty. lmao

  8. You know your disproval of her motives I undertstand but your absolute hate of Katrina puts me off commenting on all you post.

  9. enjoyed the ep and the change up of pairing Abbie/Katrina and Hawley/IC which made for some funny moments (mostly between the guys as Abbie/K were at odds on their goals of the war)....Katrina going back to Abraham feels like a bad move as you have to figure that Henry can guess her intentions and perhaps is using the necklace to either control her or at least influence her to seeing a baby as opposed to a demon spawn that used to inside her and she will be more unable to kill... got a kick out of IC's and Katrina's enjoyment of "television of reality".....

  10. Doh! I misread part of your statement there about Hawley and Jenny. Sorry :p. I read her interaction with him as her kinda messing with his head a little, which, if that's how Jenny wants to play their past, I'd be more than fine with, but now that you mention it, I can see where you got that other sort of vibe from Jenny, too. And I agree that I wouldn't want her to turn into a stereotypical female around a guy. I want her to be her tough kickass self and have a guy who really appreciates that side of her, and loves her all the more for it (same with any guy who winds up with Abbie, for that matter).
Ah, I just meant in terms of, she's hanging out with a married couple, third wheel in that regard like any single person hanging out with a couple would be (or feel like, anyway). I love hanging out with my best friend, we've known each other for...what, nearly twenty years or so now? (sidenote: WOW, I'm old)...but when her boyfriend comes over I do feel a bit "third wheel"-ish. They never make me feel that way, but it is awkward. But I do think you're right about Katrina being a third wheel as well, in terms of suddenly altering this strong bond between Crane and Abbie in notable ways. The Witness bond is a powerful one, too, after all, so any intrusion on that would be just as awkward in its own right.
In short, it's a weird dynamic all the way around right now with everyone :p.
I also agree with you about Abbie not looking for romance right now. She seems pretty one-track mind at the moment. Granted, I'm surprised there aren't MORE men banging down her door, 'cause, like you said, she's absolutely gorgeous and deserves to have a line of potential suitors interested in her, but I totally respect and admire her intense focus, too. It is very nice and refreshing to see a female character who's interested in more than her dating life or lack thereof. And I think you're right about her being wary of bringing more people into such a risky situation, too, and having to worry about them on top of the worry she has for those she DOES know and care about already.
I don't think she's into Hawley, either, at least, not as much as he is with her. I think she finds him cute in an "excitable puppy" sort of way, and probably would acknowledge that he's a good-looking guy (he's not my type, personally, but I get why women would go for that sort of look), but yeah, I don't think she's looking to pursue anything even remotely serious with him. I think she's walking that fine line between trusting him just enough to let him help her and Crane while still keeping her guard up about how much he can be trusted-she knows he's the sort who can lay on the thick charm and she's not one for BS and sweet talk.
Oh, that conversation about dancing was adorable. Yes. I loved that, too :D. I loved the way he said "Wouldn't you like to see?" to her (I was sitting there going, "Um, I would!") and anytime he can get a smile on her face is good in my book. I would've been all for a scene of Crane and Abbie dancing it up, yeah! I think she'd be more up for it at the moment than Katrina would, for one thing, and for another, she'd get him to loosen up a little on the dance floor, too (or fluster him dramatically, which would've been too cute for words). Maybe someday...

  11. Fine by me. Not my loss. And FYI, this was me being civil about her.

  12. It's cool. I have those moments too. Hahahaha. And I did see the "messing with his head" aspect. But still she seemed like two completely different characters. It wasn't like a "side of her". It was schizophrenic is what it was. LOL Like you said, I'd want her to stay the strong tough woman she is, and have a man like her for it, then to completely change who she is for said man. (Same for Abbie).

I see what you mean about the third wheel. For me, (I like being single), when i' m with my friends that are couples, they never make me feel like the third wheel, and I never feel like one. I never feel awkward either, b/c it's like a love triangle. LOL which sounds extremely weird putting it that way but it's the best way I can put it. If they start to get all "lovey Dovey" I get all sarcastic about it just to mess with them. It's a lot of fun. Hahahahaa. And concerning, Ichabod, Abbie, and Katrina, it IS awkward all around, and is going to take a lot of getting used to. (For them and for me) But I do like the different reactions between Katrina's outlook on this century as opposed to Ichabod's. Every time he was introduced to something he complained, whereas she's all for it. (The clothes, more shows to watch on TV) I would like to sseeer tune into Glee with Ichabod. Omg that would be hysterical!

You're right. Abbie isn't for BS and sweet talk. HOWEVER, tonight I felt she was smiling at him too much. Hahaahaha especially when she was bandaging him up. (Seriously the long gazes really annoyed me) like yeah yeah, he's charming and she may think he's cute, but she's not for it, and the excessive smiling just seemed off. On another note, i think he is attractive (the actor) mostly b/c he's been on another show i loved years ago. But he seriously needs to shave, i'm not digging the "gruff" look on him. Some facial hair is fine, but too much puts me off. I like clean cut. (And he looks much better when you can see his face).

I agree. Idt Katrina would be up for it. Probably b/c she knows the dances and probably has her favorites or doesn't. But Abbie, i Think she would have a ball. It'd be fun to watch her experience something from HIS time and enjoy it. That would be soooo freaking cute!! And it'd be a nice little change for the show. I'd like to see her complain. Probably step on his foot a few times. Lol yeah that'd be fun. You know what I'd like to see? Them going ice skating for the holiday season.

  13. Ohhh and about Katrina's smile, idk. I thought it was an act. But when Henry asked if she was still wearing the necklace, I asked, what the hell does that have to do with anything? Like why would Henry care? And then it glowed (did it always glow? Lol) like she was being connected to baby Moloch. Idk, it's tricky. Maybe I'll go back and rewatch the scene. She could've been acting, but it's pretty hard to tell. I did love Henry's "It's good to see you mother." When Henry is talking to his parents, doesn't matter how long or short, I love it. It's intense. But I can't help wonder how long she can keep it up, he's a freaking Sin eater, he can tell when she's lying. So to sell her undercover performance with him around, she better sell her soul. (No pun intended).

  14. Ratings be "DAMNED" this series is simply the BEST! Jay Firestone.......Lost Girl........eat your heart out, because that was one "bad -@$$" succu(beast)..........No Spoilers (must watch episode)! 4 THE SLEEPY HEAD NATION, I will remain Nobody!!!

  15. I think the 'first aid' scene is hinting that she has some interest in Hawley. I suspect that the writers will keep upping the ante on this connection until something more direct occurs between them.

  16. this is getting annoying katrina needs to stay with ichabod and abbie and stop going round and round and stay away from her son and death

  17. It's not good for Katrina to come back to Henry after I saw the ending scene of this episode. Hope Katrina realize Henry's trick as soon as possible and bring Abraham into Witness Team!

  18. Can't.Stand.Hawley.
Can't stand forced, rushed romances. This show doesn't need this nonsense. Oh, dear, cute, charming "Sleepy Hollow". You are doing it wrong in s.2.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think it is the necklace that is allowing her to see Moloch as an actual human baby. This way she bonds with it and will protect it from Ichabod and Abbie.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I loved the "bromance" between Hawley and Crane. I can not understand how there are so many Ickabbie shippers. He is MARRIED! There is something that should be sacred for goodness sake. How can you not like Hawley?! Have you seen the man??!! I can't wait for the Mama Mills storyline next week.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I agree he is married and technically Katrina has been fighting this war a long time and long before Abbie was involved. Abbie is feeling awkward towards IC and Kat. In the sense that they are a married couple and want to get it on I imagine. The war will end one day and IC and Kat will have more kids. I am hoping it will end with Henry being returned to a kid and all three of them go off into the sunset. Hopefully, the writers will give us resolution to their storyline at the end of the finale in a few years. With all the bad stuff happening the real world, it would be nice to see happiness on television.

  22. Your right bc the necklace started glowing as she looked over the crib.

  23. I feel like I'm in the minority, but I personally have really enjoyed Nick Hawley ever since he debuted on the show. I was little suspicious of him in the first few episodes, might even still be right now, but I think he's coming around to the side of the good guys. I personally really enjoyed his moments with both Ichabod and Abbie. (I may or may not ship Nick and Abbie a bit, but I don't want that to become a big thing that they shove down our throats. I can handle the teases they've been giving us, but pushing the envelope further might - like Abbie suggested - make for complications.)

While I've come to care for Katrina at least a little bit this season, I just really don't trust her. I feel like she's even more of a loose canon than Hawley, and that's saying something.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I have to agree with you. I also cannot stand Katrina! Why has this show turned into a "must rescue Katrina" series? UGH! It is losing my interest quickly.

    I want more Abbie/Katrina bond moments :)

  26. I think Hawley is a great addition to the cast and I love his interactions with both Abbie and Krane. If they decide to pursue this Abbie/Hawley romance I really don't mind as long as it is done properly. Krane is currently married to Katrina, so it's hard to ship him and Abbie. However, if they decided to go that route in the distant future, I'd also be OK with it , as long as it was done properly. If the writers start forcing changes in the storyline to keep shippers happy, then the show will do downhill.
