Who vote on this poll? This Scandal episode was awful. Terrible. Probably the worst of Season 4. What a let down from last week. Everybody predicted Andrew was dirty. Olivia and Fitz kiss only good part of the show.
Not great, but not the worst episode this shows had. I voted OK. and if they'dfound a way to incorporate Abby into the episode (but I'm no longer surprised by her absences. annoyed, but not surprised) I'd have considered stretching it to a Good.
Once again, when the Jake Ballard character shows up the show goes downhill fast like Sleepy Hollow with Hawley. Forcing a character with no real relevance into a show never works. Jake should have been killed off rather than James who had actual relevance. To go from a great episode last week to this meh episode was disappointing. I missed Abby and too much too was spent on Jake talking crap when it should have been on the other characters - Quinn who is being sidelined, Olivia doing OPA work, Huck and Javi talking about his reason for leaving, etc. I knew from the beginning of the season that Andrew was working with Lizzie. No one is a nice person on Scandal especially a politician. Has he been working with Lizzie before the Mellie affair or after becoming VP? Also, Papa Pope still has spies in the White House and the Pentagon. Who knows if Jake is still being controlled by Rowan else why has he not killed when he has had many chances to do so. Please, please end the B613 nonsense. The best episodes are the ones without the focus on the spy crap and just the political maneuvering.
Really? Jake came off like an idiot in this episode bragging about his relationship with Olivia instead of focusing on Rowan. I wish he would STFU with his frat boy juvenile act. I'm glad Fitz ignored him. As for Mellie and Andrew, I predicted Andrew being a snake from the beginning. I will say that now this plot line is interesting and gives Mellie something to do from all the whining. Bellamy needs to practice doing love scenes because she is terrible at pretend sex. Rowan and Jake need to die to end this B613 nonsense and get back to being a political show.
It was a good episode not amazing as I've gotten used to, if it had stayed focused on what were all used to seeing, the goings on corrupt Dc, I'm over Rowan just how much more of this narcissistic man are we supposed to stomach, and Jake with his school yard BS, is ridiculous instead of focusing on a common enemy, he wants to brag about banging Olivia, it's time for B613 to be done, Lizzie Bear, Mellie and Andrew, the dirty dog, have an interesting plot going on, no Abby last night, for what, Quinn said it best while on stakeout, I'm so Bored!!!
Sure, because Fitz never bragged about his relationship with Olivia instead of focusing on other pressing matters. Or Fitz never had a frat boy juvenile act. Of course (Sure, the way he taunted Rowan in the midseason finale last year was nothing short of a frat boy juvenile act. [Please]. At least, Rowan dragged him through the mud and back).
Rowan made all of them look like idiots. Once again, Olivia will blame herself.*rolleyes* This time I guess her and the male prostitute will go *Stand in the Sun* together.
All the sexual buildup we gotten between Fitz and Olivia I thought for sure we were going to get a hot love scene between them. And that hot kiss didn't help in the bunker. But all we got is a bunch of back and forth childish bullcrap. Here's hoping we get some action in the season finale. I agree with one of the posters that Bellemy Young is not good at doing love scenes.
I just want to say - I knew their plan was to good to be true. Rowan is always prepared and - for god sake - when Olivia and her bf's are going to understand that beating Rowan is impossible?!
hate jake ... i am really not getting jake. he knows that at the end liv will not choose him, she will choose fitz at the end and we know that. why the hell he just trying to mess with fitz just discussing about liv and his 2 month vacation.
And a stupid triangle at that! The way Olivia is acting we're suppose to believe that she's torn? Maybe we would if she would stop having late night orgasm on the phone with Fitz. And shoving her tongue down Fitz's throat in the hallway while her boyfriend is locked in the bunker.SMH. Yeah, Olivia is really torn!
What a disappointing episode after the good one of last week? You will think the show will go crescendo before the finale. The triangle needs to die as B613 storyline taking Rowan Jake & Maya if possible. I try very hard to care about Huck but I failed every time but poor Javi. Andrew the player who knew that. The guy is entertaining 2 women at the same time but stay boring, we need Sally Langston back. I hate how the writers are wasting the great chemistry in Olitz to the triangle BS. Some storyline need to wrap it asap. Can we hope the divorce arc to happen in the second part of the season ? Mellie needs to revalue her choice in men.
Great episode, I liked it a lot. Roman is the perfect nemesis. Olivia, Jake and the president try, but Roman is smart and see the predictable plan miles away, I love the last scene and can't wait for the next week.
Elizabeth and Andrew cool, two interesting villain for the half of the season. Elizabeth definitely will target Olivia and Cyrus, and take both down and claim the white house in process, let's what happen next.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

I was so happy that Mellie and Andrew found their way back to each other and then Shonda had to ruin it. Please fix this. I just want her to be happy!
ReplyDeleteAnd Jake should have told Fitz to go screw himself but choosing to be the bigger man and wanting to earn redemption is A+.
Ugh at Rowan doing that to his daughter but really, they should have seen that coming from a mile away.
Great episode!
Loved olitz scenes and rip Rowan
ReplyDeleteThis was more like November sleeps, not sweeps. New Scandal writer Allan Heinberg, go back to GA.

enjoyed it. Love Jake. Fitz deserved much more than some taunting for doing what he did to his "friend".
