    Ugh, Fitz is still the worst (with Rowan a close second - I love him but stop the constant monologues) and I'm thrilled Mellie called him out on his treatment of her.


    And yay Jake!

    Darby absolutely knocked it out of the park tonight and even though I love David/Abby, I could get behind Leo/Abby.

    Great episode. Those Tom and Olivia scenes were awesome. Loved that Tom told Liv about Fitz suicide attempt and automatically, Liv shifts back to Fitz Mode.
    Phone call was hot! Fitz, got skills and he don't have to brag. He knows.

    This episode was awesome, I loved Abby automatically going to Olivia for help I was seriously rooting for Abby I'm so happy she and Liv are back to being sisters, David better wake
    Up are Leo is gonna get his girl, the big take down of evil papa Rowen
    Is coming, Olivia is really her fathers child, one thing is for sure Olivia is a badass!!! Cyrus is finally realizing his boy toy is using him!!

    I knew that bragging Jake did in episode 4.01 would come back to haunt him The Scandal writers got JOKES! LOL! Fitz breathing on Olivia gave her Fitzgasm. Fitz voice made Olivia want to touch herself. WOW! Fitz got that on LOCK! LOL!

    I don't follow the fandom closely but it surprises how few people DON'T like Fitz. Personally, the whole Liv/Fitz relationship creeps me out a bit. They're so toxic. Attempting suicide because someone you love leaves you isn't romantic to me. I used to like them more. Don't like them at all now.

    Please Mellie is an idiot who is still clinging to a man who does not want or need her. She needs to leave and start her own political career. Mellie making that announcement about the wrong naval carrier (before the White House told the press) is an example of how stupid she is when it comes to international affairs. She is no Hilary Clinton and just an attention whore who is in politics for the glory not the good of the people.
    I'm so sick of people praising Mellie for her non-existent skills. When has she ever done any good political wise? Someone please give me an example. Mellie really is just ornamental not functional. She would make a terrible President. Hell even Sallie Langston is a better politician and strategic thinker.
    But Mellie would be a more interesting character as a divorced former First Lady running for office. As it is her story line is boring with the constant whining about giving up everything for Fitz. She has the potential to be more than an unwanted appendage to Fitz. Let's see some growth.
    I'm looking forward to Abby and Leo. He has more of an edge than bland David Rosen although I like the David character as a foil for Olivia. I loved seeing Olivia and Abby back to being BFF - sisters before misters.
    For the love of God, please end the B613 storyline - kill Rowan, Jake and Mama Pope. The scandal/political stories are more interesting. Shonda can give Scott Foley is own show since he has no value on Scandal except as Olivia's sex toy which is now boring and played out.

    Liv and Fitz are toxic? Call me when Fitz chokes her, kills her goddaughter's father, and slut shames her on the daily. Please! Jake fans like tto pretend he's some sort of hero but he's not. If you don't like Fitz or olitz that's fine. Just don't be a hypocrite when it comes to Jake.

    As for the suicide it wasn't just about Liv. It was about Jerry. Many parents attempt suicide when they lose children. Don't be so simple.

    Very good episode the best of season and maybe of the best since season 2 part 1 for me. Nothing I like more than Olivia Pope handling things and still being human like in her scene with Abbie. I also like the scene between Olivia and Tom. I love Olitz and enjoy that phone sex call greatly.Tony Goldwyn has a great voice.
    It's funny to me that the 2 good episodes of this season have a little of Jake and Mellie. Always being cautious with Scandal I'm not fooling myself and projecting some continuity for the next episode. Wait and see.

    Oh my. Mellie said the Roosevelt because she got the wrong info from Lizzie Bear who got it from Cyrus ho' who got the incorrect info from Cyrus. Cyrus was testing to find out if his ho' was leaking the info and the answer to that question was YES

    Some people suffer some sort of amnesia at least regarding certain characters, to be honest the writing doesn't help. There is some re-writing of the story, the best example is Mellie, she went from doesn't giving a damn about the affair as far Fitz remains in the office to be this poor wife who was abandoned by her horrible husband who fell in love with this young black woman named Olivia. For the record I like Mellie season 1, she could have been the Claire underwood for Scandal but she stays losing in my eyes because she is too short sighted , she keeps talking about being so smart and a political animal I'm still waiting to really see that . Go get a divorce and be that formidable woman you think you are .

    Ya'll Olivia Pope is about to be in command. That episode was amazing. She is about to go up against her daddy, that is some ballsy ish! The rest of this season is going to be awesome. Also I'm looking forward to seeing what Mellie is about to do to Fitz.
