    I liked this episode. Better than last week's that's for sure. Idk there's was something about it that kept my interest. Maybe b/c we didn't get a lot of Esther!! (Claps hands for that one).

    I enjoyed Klaus and Ansel's scenes, but I knew his death was coming and Ansel should've known it was coming too. That had to be one of the sweetest deaths I've seen in the TO/TVD world in long while. So kudos writers. Lol

    Enjoyed Kol and Davina's scenes ( I don't ship them at all) mostly for Kol, every word out of his mouth tonight was funny or "smooth" "You'll come to like me Davina Claire, and I'll let you pretend that you don't already." Davina: "Is the hold handing really necessary?" Kol: "Well we could make out, but that'll get really distracting."

    Very disappointed we got little Elijah, but I thoroughly enjoyed the scene with Klaus and "little Elijah in big Elijah's dream state." That was nice brotherly love right there. I'll be really upset if Esther killed Cami and I'm very much looking forward to the Boys' reunion. Awww and the promo!! I can't wait! Rebekah!!! How I've missed her.

    Great use of music, loved the cover songs both Devil Inside and Down to the River to Pray.

    I thought this dragged at first but I liked the last 30 minutes, lots going on and interesting set up for the next episode. Loved the family reunion at the end and the promo was awesome.

    I enjoyed it, but definitely the least one I enjoyed this season, probably because I didn't like seeing Klaus daddy issues, again. Not enough Elijah! and didn't feel Kol/Devina scenes! loved the cliffhanger though!

    But for her to fight her own battles, she'd need to end up in danger to have something to fight against. For all we know she'll get herself out of her current situation. Although no doubt if she did, people would complain that a human managed to fight off a powerful witch. Girl can't win.

    I think it single-handedly killed my interest on the show.


    After the season is over, I'll probably marathon it, fastforwarding through the bits I don't care about (the werewolves, Camille) to get my Elijah and Rebekah fix and see whatever happened to Dahlia.


    But follow it week after week? I'm over it.

    Cami has Hayley's blood in her. If Esther kills her, maybe she'll be a hybrid?

    I hated that Klaus killed his real father. I wish they had much more time to get to know each other.

    I do ship Kol and Davina. I liked their scenes together. I also liked Jack and Hayley together.

    I see no point in bringing back Ansel just to kill him. I would rather have seen Hayley or Cami die. Although I wish in the church scene we got a Hayley/Jackson kiss - I like her with Jackson the best and I thought they looked like they were about to kiss.

    I thought the episode was good. I missed seeing Elijah he is my favorite. I enjoyed the Elijah and Klaus scenes and I wished that Klaus father would not had gotten killed so soon., I wish there were more Elijah and Haley scenes. Like maybe her showing more caring. I do think that she cares for him. It was sad when Elijah was thinking about Tatia now that is in his head, which I still don't think he did . I am not a Haley and Jackson fan but I liked that he saved her. There are people that are thinking that Haley and Elijah will be done this season and Klaus and Haley will happen next season I hope not because that will lead to a love triangle. I wished when Elijah was all right maybe a hug or something. I wonder what Ether is going to do with Cami. She is a psycho.

    Glad Elijah is back in the game. Davina and (not) Kol scenes are beginning to grow on me.......... and Hayley and Jackson works for me, because then Elijah is FREE and CLEAN! The Cami/Hayley attack scene...........was that serious, because I couldn't stop laughing! Where is Bex when we need her, Aquarius? As for Klaus.................HE WASN'T KLAUS' DADDY ANYWAY, JULES.......SO THERE! This episode was good, but next week's episode will be "Bex" better! 4 THE ORIGINALS, THE COPIES, AND ALL THE REPEATS, I am still Nobody!!!

    why bring back Ansel just to kill him off makes no sense at all, hated creepy stalker wolf king touching hayley, didn't expect for kol AND finn to be captured that was awesome, also liked that little scene with klaus and young elijah but when elijah woke up i couldn't find myself trusting him i'm sorry, loved klaus calling Hope "my little girl" and damn it esther what hell do you want with cami and dumbass finn only klaus can call Cami "Camille" not you

    I liked the episode,didn't love it like previous two epic installments.Killing off ansel was a great mistake,he just ended up as a plot tool for klaus's inner struggle and his desperation to save hope.They could've explored the father-son relationship and we could have gotten to know the other side of klaus for a change but no,he had to kill his own father!
    Hayley seems bored,she doesn't seem that much interested to me.Cami was badass.I have no interest with the fate of finn but kol needs to survive and i'm pretty sure he will.I really hope davina will be the one to save him.Elijah's mind trip after esther turned out to be a bust since he went back to being his same old self.I hope something bad doesn't happen to cami since mama original attacked her!She has been great this season!
    Can't wait for the next one since rebekah returns!Yay!

    I don't like Jackson. Sorry no. I am a fan of Elijah and Haley, even though there are times when I feel that she does not deserve him, like last night if that was me I would hug him or do something to show that I cared after everything Elijah has done for her. I liked the scenes with Elijah and Klaus more than anything. I do like the badass Elijah but I still don't think he killed Tatia. I would like him to protect hope and don't give in to Esther. But next episode it seems that he is going all vamp on Finn. That's fine with me. I wonder what Esther is going to do with Cami.

    I thought this was a very strong episode. Way better than last week's episode. Lack of Ester and at last her getting a hit for a change made it very satisfying.


    Klaus/Ansel scenes were very touching. And for once I did not mind Klaus killing someone. His love for Hope is really reassuring. I am sad to see Ansel go this soon.


    Klaus/Elijah scenes today had a lot of heart. This is what was missing in season 1. I am so glad at last these two are on same page and Klaus acknowledged the importance of Elijah in his life. Elijah is still suffering the consequences of Ester's magic. I hope we get more of him next episode.


    Is Josh's werewolf boyfriend dead? I was loving their dynamics. They had great chemistry. Loved the way they all worked together to get Finncent. That was cool. Cami was productive and I can't wait to see how she talks out of Ester's clutches. I am a bit annoyed by Jackson and his repeated hints to Hayley. The girl is not interested. Get a clue. On other hand if it will keep Hayley away from Elijah then cool pair them together.


    Daniel Sharman as Kol is growing on me. Damn it! I don't want to like him. I want Nate back. But Daniel is really funny and charming. His and Davina's relationship is still a bit creepy but then again this show is in the same world of TVD creepy works. Davina is going to be super pissed next episode.


    Rebekah and Hope returns next episode YaY!!!

    Agree with almost all your points. Really liked the scenes with Klaus and his father. I understood why he had to kill him. The Elijah and Klaus scenes were gold.

    THIS^^ I am hoping for this.

    Also, I don't find Jackson creepy. If you have read werewolf novels/stories across many genres, the alphas are pretty much depicted like this - a bit possessive, aggressive and come on too strong. Werewolves are also big on pack promises, betrothals etc. So, I don't mind Jackson being the way he is. He is an old school werewolf. The show has time to develop his character. If they do in a good manner, then he is a great match for Hayley.

    But her anger would be misplaced. I am pretty sure that the stake is now with Marcel.

    My knowledge of modern day werewolf mythologies are limited to Harry Potter (awesome), TVD/TO (pretty meh. They are just there) and my dip in the dark of watching all of the twilight movies (creepy imprinting). I have read lots of old school beast stories which I liked.

    I don't find Jackson creepy. His kicked puppy look whenever he mentions the betrothal is annoying me. Also he wasn't much of an alpha last season and he isn't now. I find him equivalent to a wet blanket. Even Oliver had more fire than him. In a show filled with strong, stubborn characters he just does not shine. I hope now that bottle of alcohol is finished he will become more proactive.

    Do young women still like werewolf stories?

    Misplaced anger or not I love it when we have pissed of witches. That's the part I like most about TO interesting witches. Also Kol will charm her again to his side.

    Literally what I tweeted while the episode was airing, but I used cojones instead of fire when referring to Oliver.


    From what I can gather from the writing staff's twitters and the way they keep referring to the character as "dreamy", they will be pushing Jackson quite hard in the near future. I'm convinced that's the last push I need to call it quits with the show.


    I am, however, looking forward to hearing all about Hayley and Jackson's blooming romance. Match made in no1currs heaven.

    I disagree I am a Elijah and Haley fan and I don't want them together. Elijah and Haley are endgame for me. He is not a regular anyways. I think she should more compassion for the man that has saved her life countless times. They have the build up. Maybe they will tease them. But I can handle a Elijah and Jackson love triangle more than I can handle a Elijah and Klaus and Haley storyline. But I dont mind Jackson but not with Jackson.

    He was a mere spectator in season 1. No leadership qualities shown. In a show where you have larger than life characters like Elijah and Klaus on one side the head of werewolf clan should have more presence to face them head on. Klaus's father Ansel had that charisma. I could believe he was the head of a pack. Jackson is soo.. boring.


    I don't mind more screen time for him as long as he becomes proactive and actually cause some change in story line.


    I don't hate Hayley. I dislike the acting a lot. Cami is a pointless character played by a strong actress in Leah Pipes. Hayley is an important character played by a weak actress Phoebe. It's a conundrum.

    Favorite episode of the season. Might have helped that we didn't have to listen to Ester's crazy. I like the new take on Kol (okay, I like Daniel Sharman). The dark objects mythos seems potentially very cool, but really bless the CW for fearlessly letting handsome hunks be handsome and charming. And I'm actually really glad to have Jackson back. I think he's good with Haley (even if I don't like the predestined/arranged marriage concept).


    Poor Elijah. I'm dying for Ester to have lied to him about the retcon on doppleganger #4, but I'm worried they won't.

    I kind of wished that they would have kept Oliver. Being a Elijah and Haley fan I cringe at the Haley and Jackson scene. But I could handle a Elijah, Jackson and Haley love triangle rather than another love triangle between brothers. I thought this episode was good and the Elijah and Klaus scenes made me sad. But I was hoping that Haley would show more feelings toward Elijah you know she cares about him but I was hoping for her to hold his hands or do something. But I can wait and I believe they will be endgame.
