Wo Fat is finally gone!!! However, I will say that the storyline still feels incomplete. It will probably be revisited soon (Doris?). The AU was definitely mind boggling but funny at the same time. Chin as Captain, Kono a model, Danny turns into Reality Steve, and Grover takes his golf clubs seriously? Not to mention Jerry being homeless and Kamekona having that mustache and beard :) Loved the montage and song at the end. Very well done episode. One of the best episodes in the series and it's the best milestone episode I've watched ever.
Fantastic episode! Best H50 episode since...well...the pilot! Alex O was completely in his element. Great acting by everyone, but Alex was superb. The fight scene and his ultimate take down of WoFat was something I've been waiting to see for a very long time. So WoFat is gone now, but WoFat's father is still out there somewhere. I predict Papa Fat will be Steve's next nemesis! I definitely teared up right along with McGarrett at the end. The montage and Five For Fighting's song, All For One", had me me sobbing in a good way. So many memories created in these 100 episodes. Great job and thank you to everyone involved in making this incredible episode!
That last scene between Danny and Steve in the AU just freaks me out. I can't cope with island-friendly Danny who encourages people calling him Danno. It's weird.
I have absolutely no words to describe the brilliant hour of television it was! From the beginning moments right up to the closing montage shots-everything showed us what made us fall in love with the show in the first place.Steve and danny stole the episode for me.I'm so happy after years of cat and mouse game,wo fat finally got exactly what he deserved and that too by steve! This episode will definitely go down as one of the best installments from the H50 creators!Take a bow!
Great great GREAT episode! A lot of surprises here and there okay well the whole reveal that Wo Fat & Steve are brothers didn't surprise me but his confessions tha she abandone him didn't expect that was sooo sad. The way Mark played it out was brilliant.
I thought the AU scenes were a bit corny but hilarious I was laughing all the way through.
Yes as a fan I was in tears in the end and I thought they will keep Mark on the show till the end was really upset they killed him off but he's really busy atm with movies coming out he divides his time between LA, Hawaii & Russia at the moment with family time, Iron Chef and doing and directing movies. But I thought it was a good send off for him I hope they'll bring him back eventually.
Alex was brilliant and I think his BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) training has been really paying off for him I thought his stunts were excellent than ever and his acting also couldn't be a proud fellow Aussie!
and seeing old favourites returning couldn't be more happier!
This will be listed as one of my most fave episodes of the series so far!
Really they have dragged the Wo-Fat story way too long. Will miss Mark D but really it was time to put it to a rest the SL. Along with Danny's Brother Matt. Now time to put Doris' SL to a rest as it has really dragged out. AU Danny was terrifying and hilarious as Steve was in shock in his dreams, if Steve was so overzealous, he has not seen Danny yet.
the original wo fat storyline drag on for 12 season but they did not bother with killing him. I sure they will resolve Doris storyline but there is not much left to say
Loved every single minute of last night! This season, by far, has been the very best. I got kind of emotional at the end, too. I hope Wo Fat really is dead and gone. Enough with him and bringing Steve trouble all the time.
Fantastic episode. The ending had me in tears. I'm really glad the Wo Fat storyline has finally ended at long last. The cycle of Wo Fat is captured and Wo Fat escapes was more redundant than a cat's nine lives. They should have ended this storyline at least a season ago. It was kind of hard to follow in the beginning with all the alternate reality stuff merging with the current and true stuff. I never saw Lost, but based on what I've heard about how the last few seasons went I guess this is kind of what it was like. And Danny channeling Steve in the hospital room and freaking Steve out was one of the most hilarious scenes I've ever seen. And the fight between Steve and Wo Fat was fantastic as well. Also, now we know why last season the only answer they gave us was "I ran the DNA. He is definitely not your brother". There was no other answer to give. They were brothers, just not blood brothers. I think they could have come up with a better answer than that if they hadn't delayed and stalled on it for so long. I don't think that helped in the creativity aspect. It will be interesting to see what new arcs they come up with now that the primary arc from the pilot has finally been concluded. Overall, one of the best episodes of the series.
I loved everything in this episode, I just wished it had been longer. It was sad but I even loved how Steve broke down at the end when the team found him. I also loved how we didn't know anything about the black woman who helped Wo Fat, she looked scary with no name and very little dialogue. The scene where Steve gets out of his chair and kills her was fantastic, it reminded me of the scene in Avengers where Black Widow gets free of her chair. Except in the movie it was completely over-the-top while the way Steve did it was believable. Of course the fight between Steve and Wo Fat was awesome, it wasn't too showy, it was brutal and it felt real. I'm going to miss Mark Dacascos, I get why the writers brought him back time and again, he's fantastic. He has great presence and he's a really good fighter. I loved all the alternate reality versions of our characters, some were sad, some were funny but they were all interesting. AUDanny was the funniest but I still like Steve's crazy the best.
The episode was brutal, hard to watch those scenes with Steve and Wo Fat. The alternate universe was fun to watch but heartbreaking when Steve was asking for his father at the end. Only thing that this show lacks is follow up to these emotional episodes! In the next episode there is no mention of it what so ever and Steve is back to jumping on trucks after being drugged, tortured and beaten. They have done follow up for a lot of stories but I wanted to see Steve in the hospital or going back home after those visions of his father. Hopefully when they start looking into Wo Fat's father there will be some flashback.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
ABSOLUTLEY INCREDIBLE!!! LOVED EVERY MINUTE! AS A FAN FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, IT WAS AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteWell that made me emotional, especially the montage. I felt so bad for Steve when he broke down towards the end.
ReplyDeleteAnd is Wo Fat really dead? I thought they'd drag that storyline out until the end of the series but I'll be happy if it's actually truly over.
AU Danny was terrifying and hilarious at the same time.
Great 100th episode!
Loved this episode!! The ending made me cry! I've watched most episodes multiple times and this was one of my favourites!
ReplyDeleteI don't want much spoiler but they did address what fans been waiting for right
ReplyDeleteHope it goes up in ratings tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThis was amazing! It was the best episode in a very long time. I loved the ending, and I definitely teared up.

ReplyDeleteLoved it! A strong episode. AU Danny showing off his McGarrett was fun to watch.

ReplyDeletedefinately Wo fat father is likely the real bad guy.......and will revenge probably

I agree! But I thought the whole AU with Danny did freak me out a bit LOL
ReplyDeleteBut that's just my own opinion I think its the fact maybe that I've watched the show too much already :p
Yep pretty much everything I heard from Peter on Twitter was 100% right didn't disappoint me at all
ReplyDeleteThe whole Danny AU story was weird, but I enjoyed it. The last one was even more weird though.
ReplyDeleteThe last 10 minutes were the best and the song was awesome!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePeter has confirmed that Wo Fat is really dead in a script he shown on his Instagram earlier http://websta.me/p/849025836131404393_23693953
ReplyDeletePretty much says the story is over
Wo fat's father is still MIA,don't forget that!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant episode !! Alex was amazing !! If producers had brought this level of quality more often to HF-0, it wouldn't be fighting for its survival.
