Yes! Grimm Nick is back and seems more fast and kick ass as ever. Love it. I missed Nick with his powers. Loved the reference to his zombie blue state. Maybe that will come back into play in the next coming episodes. I am curious.
I actually liked Nick and Juliette together as a couple this episode. They were cute, supportive and seemed to actually look past the awkward Juilette as Adalind fiasco by having fun with it. It was not as tacky or awkward as I was afraid it would be. Although I loved Monroe's sum up of the situation as a whole "creepy". Keep this Juliette up and I think I can like her character and give her a chance again.
And sidenote but do I spy a chance for romance for Hank? I got a little bit of a vibe between him and that tough lady cop. I hope he gets some romance this season he is due for some kind of personal life growth especially in the romance department. I hope he gets to see this woman again.
Great that Nick got his grimm back I'm happy that we didn't have to wait until mid-finale for that happy Nick told Trubel she still part of the family basically Nick and Juliette are so cute being there for each other love this show
really enjoyed it and that Nick got his groove back in a major way and seems better than ever... loved the solidarity with the Scoobies in the drive to protect their own in Monroe and Rosalee... although I would've liked for Nick to use the connection with Adalind to find out what the royals might be up to, but I prefer him getting his grimmness back... the deduction of Victor figuring out that Nick's mother has the child seemed a bit quick, but it set up that there will be an eventual faceoff between Adlaind/Nick/Kelly/Victor/elizabeth and it should be a good one to see. Tubel really needs to fill Nick in with all that's been going on with the group watching her, and it will be interesting to see how the Josh sideplot will tie into things as well... and then of course there is the wu situation as well
NICK BURKHARDT IS BACK IN BUSINESS WHOOO!!! i loved his last scene with the wesen i forgot how much of a badass he is, Nick and Juliette were so cute in this episode i love them so much, damn it adalind was just spilling her guts wasn't she, i'm actually wondering how old Elizabeth is now maybe she's hundreds of years old, loved Monroe, Rosalee and Truble being all awkward with the Nick and Juliette stuff, didn't expect to see Josh again cool
Well we don't really know for sure maybe is like when nick became a zombie and when they cure him he still kept the zombies side effects which was strength and stamina or when he lost his eyesight he gain the ability of super hearing and when he got his eyesight back he still kept that ability. So who knows maybe he will keep the ability to see through Adalind's eyes.
Nick Smile! that moment you knew his power were back......so the powerless storyline is over there still the Wu storyline he should know the truth and Trubel storyline........how long until the Royals learn of Nick being a grimm again? I guessing Trubel will get more training from Nick as his apprentice and backup grimm
Thinking there may be two sets of awesome coming (1)the meeting between Moma Renard Elizabeth and Moma Grimm Kelly ( 2) after initial friction twixt the two, they join together to fight the royals to protect the baby - now there is a fight I'd love to see. There were so many great moments last night within the whole group--- among them , Juliet ( with a gun!) and Trubel coming over to protect Rosalee so that Monroe could go with Nick, and Trubel so emotional over Nick's getting his powers back and being so accepted in the group.
and beside I saw an interview with Claire Coffee, where she said that the freaky connection thing comes back in a big way in episode 8. In her own words she said it was going to be explosive.
Loved it! The MOTW was really spooky, loved the new cop (future Hank love interest?), loved seeing Monroe so spun up, loved Juliette sacrificing her dignity so her beloved could regain his powers. I love Juliette anyway, always have. She's warm and sharp. I'm glad they came back to discussing why Mother Renard looks so good. Glad Adalind got out of that dungeon, but she has really spilled the beans. Now they're going to go after Kelly. I only hope Elizabeth finds her first, so they can team up against the Royals.
Finally good episode, but I have to say that scriptwriters made a mistake with whole sex storyline. It actually proved that Nick and Adalind share kind of chemistry Juliette and Nick will never have. Juliette can hate her however long she wants, she can keep on repeating it every week, it may be the only words that come out of ger mouth, I don't even care, because her hatred is just as dull as she is.
I've been wondering about that storyline myself. It does kinda of appear that they've dropped that storyline at least for now, but it's hard to say. They may end up bringing back this storyline in the later parts of the season. Part of me has a feeling that Nick and Adalind's connection will resurface despite Nick being cured. In fact I could even see that side-effect being strengthened as a result of the cure, since Juliet had to take Adalind's form for the cure to take affect. I really hope we see more this storyline as it has a lot of plot potential, particularly if Nick were to come across another key and he and Adalind switched minds when he had it.
Really awesome episode, and of course the highlight Nick's back baby and better than ever, I felt so bad for Trubel when she realized Nick had his powers back, you could see she was starting to feel out of place, I don't know if I want her to go with the FBI lady and the resistance, I know one things for sure I certainly don't want the Senior Hexenbeast to leave I want her to stay and be the one to take Adalind out, she was singing like a canary to Viktor, now what's left of the loose ends tell Wu, what's going on and, please let Monroe and Rosalee have some honeymoon time!!!
I really enjoyed that ep. The COTW was a throw back to the good ole days of backward people unwilling to enter the 20th century. The tongues were fun. Happy that Nick's got his mojo back. He not only got his sight back but his cool fighting enhancement. Loved Monroe cheering from down in the hole. Also loved Monroe's unwillingness to back down before the bigots. Trubel's dealing with the guy following her was loads of fun. Feeling sorry for Josh. Lots of fun stuff in the ep.
i saw it as a more her seeing that she finally has the family that she always wanted, also she said it felt weird Nick not being a Grimm when she wants to learn a lot from him but what you said about her being worried that she's not need really scares me that she might leave and i don't want that
Your point makes a lot of sense, I do agree she did miss learning from Nick, he did teach her a great deal about herself before his power went kaput, I don't know which way they would take this with the two Grimms and like you I sure don't want her to leave, and now it looks like Josh just might have Grimm powers, that would be wild:)
For me this was probably the best episode of the season so far, every aspect of this episode really came together very cohesively. Even the case of the week aspect was very convincing and was interwoven very nicely with Nick trying to get his powers back. Not even Adalind's scenes with Viktor could put a damper on things, in fact I sorta actually enjoyed Adalind's scenes for once this season. Seeing Nick get his powers back was refreshing, especially since he was motivated by wanting to help MonRosalee!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Great! We are back in the Grimm business. Hope Adalind and Victor are appropriately surprised.

Woohoo!!! Finally! I'm glad that storyline of powerless Nick is over. I wonder if Viktor will find Kelly but by then Elizabeth will have the child.
ReplyDeleteGreat that Nick got his grimm back I'm happy that we didn't have to wait until mid-finale for that happy Nick told Trubel she still part of the family basically Nick and Juliette are so cute being there for each other love this show
ReplyDeleteyeh, given its tack record I assumed mid-season, I am glad I was wrong though. I guess they learned their lessons from last season.
ReplyDeleteDecent episode. I can 't help but wonder why there weren't any concerned neighbours around when the cross was burning on the front lawn.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing about Hank and the lady cop, JJ.
ReplyDeletereally enjoyed it and that Nick got his groove back in a major way and seems better than ever... loved the solidarity with the Scoobies in the drive to protect their own in Monroe and Rosalee... although I would've liked for Nick to use the connection with Adalind to find out what the royals might be up to, but I prefer him getting his grimmness back... the deduction of Victor figuring out that Nick's mother has the child seemed a bit quick, but it set up that there will be an eventual faceoff between Adlaind/Nick/Kelly/Victor/elizabeth and it should be a good one to see. ReplyDeleteright? that's why i want Truble to stay on the show she has a family now
ReplyDeleteI know. It was exciting when Nick could see through Adalind's eyes, but it seems they've dropped that storyline.
ReplyDeleteWell we don't really know for sure maybe is like when nick became a zombie and when they cure him he still kept the zombies side effects which was strength and stamina or when he lost his eyesight he gain the ability of super hearing and when he got his eyesight back he still kept that ability. ReplyDeleteCan't underestimate mama hexenbiest
ReplyDeleteyeah they didn't drop the zombie storyline he just kept the enhanced powers he had when he became a zombie because he's a Grimm

ReplyDeleteyeah i guess LOL
ReplyDeleteFinally Nick is back and I am too, because I don't know why the writers wait for long to bring him back, now the season could be more interesting.

ReplyDelete'Nick the Grimm' is back...baddie wesen suckers, with a vengeance!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad Super Grim Nick is back just in time to save ol' St. Nick's hide.
