    Disappointing! The previews were extremely misleading. They made it seem like this episode would be more about Jackson and April but again they were only in like 2 or 3 scenes and only 1 together. I just don't understand how they have had consistently strong episodes since the start of the season and then throw away the winter finale. It really felt like this was not intended to be the winter finale which would make since seeing as how episode 12 is usually the winter finale. The best scene of the night was the ending montage. I always love seeing clips from the past and it was nice seeing the first Merder scene again. I was confused at the beginning thinking I was watching the Elis Grey episode again. It wasn't bad just not what I expected.

    The end for mer and derek ? Poor april she look so happy !!
    This season is one of the best and so different from the others season .. flashbacks/cinematography/stories/music. Much more darker than before.

    I liked it,didn't love it as my expectations were much higher considering it the mid-season finale.I liked the april-jackson's baby tragedy & the ending was gut-wrenching.I knew they would eventually have to go apart each on their own way.Marriage is about compromises along the journey but if either one of them feels forced to do it,that's the end of the road.Derek needs to go apart from meredith,put some space between them for some time and then maybe they can start working on their relationship together.Disappointing!

    I had much expectations from this mid-season finale but it fizzled out.Apart from the ending and the baby tragedy,nothing stood apart.

    Wow. Meredith and Derek were at eachother's throats throughout the episode and to be honest I don't know who's to blame for their current relationship troubles. I really hope there's a reconciliation soon. Even though I loved the episode, I really thought it was going to be about April and Jackson's baby.

    I thought the episode was awesome, I don't know what's going on with Derek he should just pack up and go on to DC, Meredith is going to keep hearing that he sacrificed his career for her, if he has to continue to spew how he's the martyr then go already, he's making everyone miserable, I thought this was a good episode I hope April's baby is going to be ok, I know this is Shonda, I can only hope!!

    Such a great episode.
    Arizona going behind Herman's back about her tumor. But how come only GSMW doctors are capable of operating on inoperable tumors? Or is it just the Shepherds?
    Poor April, she's gonna be crushed when she finds out about her baby's defect.

    Totally saw Derek taking the job by the end of the episode.


    Now, what's with Bailey's fitness routine. It has to lead somewhere else they would have spent a considerable amount of time on that.

    The episode was okay but no great shakes. What are they doing to Meridith and this makeup? She looked terrible and it made her look too old.

    I feel so sad for April and Jackson,i hope that there is someway they will be able to help the baby.Herman said something that leads me to think there is a silver of hope for them..

    I don't really know what of think of Derek and Meridith....

    I was pleasantly surprised by this. I thought this would be all about Japril and their baby drama and I'm glad it wasn't!


    Am I the only one who wants their kid to die? *waits for backlash* The whole difficult pregnancy/labour has been done so many times on this show! It would be nice to have something different. Heh.

    Excellent episode, but I hope Arizona save Kepner and Avery's baby. Meredith made the same decision as her mother, but I think this will end different, after all she is very different of Ellis.

    Meredith and Derek will always be end game, but I'm glad that he won't be around as much (for however long they need to make the storyline work) because I think it's time for Mer to shine. The whole series has been based around her character; with other doctors, with her mother, her empathy etc, but never focused on her as a surgeon. So I really hope that they can show us that she is the spectacular doctor that she has the potential to be!

    Meredith hasn't really dealt with her miscarriage after S6 finale per se from what I recall, so it'd be a pretty nice and fresh thing to see April cope with it near the end of the season.
