I missed most of the episode so I only caught the tail end fight and Selina with Gordon while I wait for a download to finish but I just came here to say: Is Jim the most manly, toughest man in town prone to as many injuries as possible? Because dude seriously seems to get shot, cut, hit, punched or knocked the hell out almost every episode. And he always walks away from it every time (including getting shot twice in one day) like it's cool I got this its just a little flesh wound. Not that I want to see the guy laid up in bed because he's pretty bad ass and I love Ben Mckenzie but damn you can't get beat up that much every week and just always be okay. He is like a version of Batman at this point minus the suit of disguise.
Excellent episode.............got some of everything tonight (No Spoilers)! Gordon - is "Gotham's Man", until the "Dark Knight" arrives. One of the reasons to watch this series. Bullock - smart cop trying to survive, while looking for redemption. Another reason to watch this series. Barbara - is really............ANNOYING! Bruce - is "Gotham's Knight"..................but not yet. Edward Nigma - his interaction (scenes) with Gordon, Bullock, and the captain has been great. MORE! Selina Kyle - SPOILER ALERT........she who will one day be Catwoman sighting......SPOILER ALERT! Cobblepot - One of the "best" things about this series. His scenes and performances are great! Fish Mooney - the "other best" thing about this series. Her scenes and performances are also great! Next week..............Harvey Dent or he who will one day be.............."Two - Face"! 4 THE DARKEST KNIGHT IN GOTHAM, I am still Nobody!!!
gordon is losing his way isn't he and now barbara left DAMN IT!!! bullock really is coming back to the good side and i'm loving david mazouz as bruce wayne and loved having selina back after a long absence, getting more and more bored with the fish mooney character
one problem though... his girlfriend's "LOOK AT ME!" temper tantrum needs to stop. She spend the last few episode pushing him to tell her the truth, she disobeys his orders that will help keep her alive and is the only one to blame in her current "can't walk outside without feeling stalked" problem, and to top it all off she calls him in the middle of work (whom she knows has a price on his head AT WORK and gets pissy when he doesn't say I love you back because he's busy trying not to die) so she storms off...
I mean, really? Who wrote that character? Besides that this episode is my favorite. Gordon and Bullock are a wonderful duo.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Alfred needs to stop encouraging Bruce like this but considering who he becomes that's never going to happen.
ReplyDeleteAnd aw, Bullock cares about Jim!
Bullock is just the funniest at times :)
ReplyDeleteSelina Kyle's "gotta shop" scene was cool.
