Now I enjoyed this episode. Wasn't as exciting as the previous ones, but still enjoyable. It KILLS me that no one on Team Flash suspects Harrison. I was upset when Barry apologized to him. I knew it was coming. But seriously Joe should keep suspecting him and so should Cisco. I hope they figure him out sooner or later. And poor Joe trembling out of fear when Barry asked if he was ok. Joe pleaseeee tell Barry and fast!
I loved that they brought in the Clock King from Arrow. But his appearance in Arrow was better...MUCH better than him in Central City. I laughed when they revealed that Iris "shot him" in the leg. LOL that was so lame. Please bring him back to Starling so Felicity can kick his ass again.
The article that was "in tact" has me very curious. Headline reads: The Flash vanishes...(something). Wonder what that could be. Damn you Wells!!
Best part of the hour...FLASH VS ARROW SNEAK PEEK!!!!! #$^%$#@#$%$%^&^%#!!!!!! I Fangirled sooo hard!! I can't wait!!!
Awesome episode still don't get what Wells motive are is he good guy or bad guy or in between nice seeing Iris be badass Blackout powers was amazing and visual
Tony coming back and helping out the team by slowing down Blackout was a nice surprise! Too bad he died in the end just as him and Barry seemed to have mend their differences :/
Having the episode feature two big villains was pretty awesome but I felt like Clock King was better on Arrow than he was on here. I did like that he was utilized way more and caused havoc to everyone in the precinct. He's such a fun villain.
Barry going head to head in that final duel with Blackout was my favorite part of the episode. Those lightning special effects were so damn cool! This show deserves to win an Emmy in Outstanding Special Visual Effects so badly it's insane.
Wells continues to be so damn suspicious. The theory that he might be the Reverse Flash is surely becoming more and more plausible as each episode ends (though Eddie is still at the top of my list). Seeing what is true intentions are is going to be interesting.
Can't freaking wait for The Flash vs. Arrow next week!! I'am so hyped for it :)
Well there's nothing he's done that they've seen that's inherently suspicious besides letting Troy go. It would be really out of character after Wells' sacrifice if Barry didn't apologize though. He can't, Zoom will kill Iris and it's just better for now if he doesn't. Clock King can't die though too much potential for future use on the Suicide Squad and not a fitting end for a character like him to go off screen.
There's a few things to go on. His attitude towards Cisco, (even if Cisco considered that professional temperment), Joe's suspicions of Harrison then all of a sudden he "mysteriously" gets attacked. Hell even Plastique trying to warn Barry,(though that doesn't count but still) now Harrison let's this guy go for the "distraction plan" (rolls eyes) w/e. One more suspicion, and something better click, period. I don't want if ands or buts.
I didn't say Barry shouldn't have apologized, what i said was, i was mad that he apologized. Joe could easily tell Barry. Shit tell him in the men's room while they're both peeing, just tell him, write it down, do something. And who said anything about Clock King dying?? Where the hell did that come from? I never said i wanted him to die, i didn't even imply that? = /
okay Barry and Caitlin need to get together RIGHT NOW!!!, their scenes together tonight were FREAKING AMAZING WHOO!!!!!, Wells, Wells, Wells what are you up to? The Flash Vs Arrow sneak peek WAS MOTHER 'EFFING INSANELY AWESOME I CAN' BELIEVE IT'S REALLY HAPPENING HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cisco thing doesn't point to maniac. It seems more like he's just a very concerned boss who doesn't like weapons being built with his tech. Joe yeah but no one else knows that, and Joe himself put most suspicions to rest after the Tess thing, And he still believes Harrison can't walk. Hell we don't even know if Harrison is Zoom. I inferred it after you said you were mad he got shot in the leg. There's a better non-lethal place, you'd prefer? He could tell Barry, but it's Zoom the man doesn't just want to kill Barry, he wants to destroy him in every way imaginable, he'll find out. He's spent years obsessing and learning everything about Barry, even if Joe knew that he'd never tell him because the guy has the exact same powers as Barry but no conscience. To any parent that'd be enough to paralyze them with fear. Nor should he tell Barry because if he did everyone, I mean everyone would die not just Iris. Barry's not strong enough to face him yet.
What an episode. The way Harrison Wells moves from one end of the spectrum to another it is giving me whip lash. On one hand he looks like he has noble intentions to keep the future intact and regrets the death of the people during particle accelerator blow up but on the other he is so ruthless and apathetic to anyone besides Barry. Does want to know how Blackout took Barry's powers for his own benefit or to protect Barry? This is one hell of a character and Tom Cavanah is simply awesome.
Blackout was so good. Great special effects and the small slice of background was nice. That final fight scene where him and Barry was connected was so good. Great to see Girder back. I can't believe I am sad to see him die. Last episode I hated him.
I loved that precinct story line did not involve The Flash. These characters are kickass enough to protect themselves from normal thugs. Knepper was awesome as Clock King once again. But I wish he showed his tech savyness more. His ability to time events down to the second was really fun in Arrow.
Iris kicked ass and is falling in love with The Flash. I hate it when comic book heroines falls for the mask first instead of the person underneath especially when they are in another relationship. How adorable was Eddie in that hospital?? I don't want Barry/Caitlin to happen. But I can see why people do. They are showing Caitlin falling in love with Barry too. I don't understand why. She totally was going for a hug or a kiss when Cisco interrupted them.
I know a power drain episode is always a staple for people with powers, so I'm glad that's out of the picture for now. But it can return like in Smallville. But here is hoping different and at least not for long.
Man Clock King wanted them speed too. Asking for 8gb Ram Laptop. That's epic. It be even funnier if he asking for 16gb for the laptop. - btw its like the 3rd time T-Bag try to escape and 2nd time pissed he couldn't reach his loved one. I love Robert Knepper, always and awesome bad guy.
Oh and I see them almost moment with Snow and Barry. Me likely!
It didn't have to scream "maniac" you can tell Cisco was shaken up more than an "employee" should be. He's been working with Harrison this whole time, and by the expression on Cisco's face you could tell Harrison never talked to him like that. And i never said i was mad Clock King got "shot" in the leg i said it was lame. If i wanted the guy dead, i would've said so. I wouldn't have said i wanted him back on Arrow if that were the case. I love C.K..
Again, Joe knows nothing about Zoom, all those things you mentioned, Joe doesn't know. Besides, we all know Iris isn't going anywhere, Zoom is most likely expecting it anyway, and Barry may not be strong enough to face him but that's all the more reason to tell him. Firstly, Joe can't fight him. secondly, Barry's strength comes from his emotions. If he knows Joe and Iris (especially Iris) is in trouble, he'll be more determined than ever to go way beyond pushing his powers, testing himself, to see what he an really do. Either way at the end of the day Barry will find out what happened, and i can't wait til Joe tells him. He's not going to hold it in forever. It's inevitable, no matter how much logic you throw at it. I give it three episodes tops. (as this show doesn't drag things out for too long, which i love.)
Keeping the future could be noble or could be pragmatic as other alternatives are far, far worse than a future with the Flash. We STILL know too little to decide.
Exactly. Look what the headlines were when Flash was not present. Central city was filled with Red Sky. The Queen Inc/Wayne merger didn't work out and US postal department shut down.. So I do think without Flash the future will be way bad. I have a feeling at the end Harrison Wells will turn out to be a grey character and not completely evil.
Actually she could die or be stuck in the future at some point, given this show's massive use of time travel according to the producers. I know he doesn't know anything but still a guy that fast with no morals is gonna freak the crap out of Joe. Well actually yeah Barry will apparently come face to face with Zoom around the midseason break apparently which should be fun (except for Barry that's gonna suck), so he'll probably tell Barry. Which makes me wonder what will happen to Iris.
I'm against snowbarry from the almost the beginning when people were shipping them before they even saw a scene and were against westallen for no reason. I'm not saying you are but I just side eye snowbarry. And I would like for the CW to actually stay with its cannon couple for once Barry/ iri and Caitlin/ Ronnie.
You're definitely reaching about Iris's "death". Her being stuck in the future, that would be interesting (and make for good TV). I'm desperately looking forward to the face to face. It'll be all kinds of awesome.
Well she did die in the comics, and given this show's apparent thing with time travel I honestly wouldn't be surprised if at some point out of jealousy and hate Zoom killed her (and then Barry would kill him like in the comics). Wouldn't stick though. With Zoom and the Reverse-Flashes and the device of time travel it's gonna get real messed up.
I didn't enjoy this episode as much as the other ones and yet it made me cry several times, WTH?!!! Anywaaaay..... Wells, You were more shady than usual with an extra creepiness shavings on top but I still believe that you care about Barry, why is that? I can't wait to see what will Oliver thinks when he meets you. Glad that Barry finally saw the dark side of wells but sadly his good hearted nature took over at the end and he changed his opinion, hopefully he will see the light again soon and hopefully with Joe's help, and they seriously need to give us more information about Wells' deal, and why didn't Joe tell Barry that Nora's murder case's files were stolen by whoever killed her?
Eddie on pain killers was a hoot lol and Barry and Iris are way to cute, I didn't want to ship anyone yet but they are forcing me to. It was interesting to see that Joe doesn't want Barry to lose his powers considering how he didn't Barry to use them in the beginning. The Team Flash moments were very touching but I didn't like Barry's attitude in the beginning of the episode.
Clock king was underwhelming and didn't really do anything worthy of mentioning, is he going to come back and that was just a setup? Speaking of clock king and how he went to prison, I always love when they mention my babies Oliver and Felicity (I know that was a horrible segue but you know me I have to mention them lol)
NEXT WEEK IS THE BIG CROSSOVER EVENT, ARE YOU READY FOR EPICNESS? I know I am
I think Wells is trying to figure out what exactly happens to Barry which is why he keeps saying the future is still on schedule. It's like his mission is to learn what causes Barry's fate and stop it or maybe he is just a mad man hell bent on destroying Barry lol.
This episode was similar to Smallville when Clark got his powers transferred to someone else via lighting strike thus reversing it with another Lighting Strike lol I'm telling you Flash is almost like Smallville
Yeah wayyyyyy later in the comics. = / c'mon now. give me a break. And they're not following the comics verbatim. So again, it's less likely. But you stick to that. And i'll stick to the opposite.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteBlackout had incredible powers which visually were represented so cool!
The Flash vs Arrow Banner is so cool!!
So...I know that Snowbarry isn't canon, but at this point I couldn't care less. Every scene they have makes me ship them more. I regret nothing!
ReplyDeleteIronically, my power went out in my neighborhood, missed a chunk of it. :(
ReplyDeleteships left, ships right, above and everywhere
ReplyDeleteNow I enjoyed this episode. Wasn't as exciting as the previous ones, but still enjoyable. It KILLS me that no one on Team Flash suspects Harrison. I was upset when Barry apologized to him. ReplyDeleteIt didn't go out by itself, a metahuman took it!
ReplyDeleteClock King was almost useless, it could be any vilian in his place.
ReplyDeletehuh? and yeah i love snowbarry completely they NEED to be canon
ReplyDeleteThere's a few things to go on. His attitude towards Cisco, (even if Cisco considered that professional temperment), Joe's suspicions of Harrison then all of a sudden he "mysteriously" gets attacked. ReplyDeleteYeah but still nice to see him.
ReplyDeleteI'm good with them as friends.
ReplyDeleteYep, tis the CW and a comic book adaptation (there's less shipping, but still many relationships in comics) my friend.
ReplyDeleteWhat an episode. The way Harrison Wells moves from one end of the spectrum to another it is giving me whip lash. Awesome episode. Very interesting things. But strange Doctor Wells, more stranger that when we started. And not to mention Gideon. Very good episode.
ReplyDeleteKeeping the future could be noble or could be pragmatic as other alternatives are far, far worse than a future with the Flash. We STILL know too little to decide.

ReplyDeleteIm not saying it's gonna happen, I'm just pointing that the possibility of it.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. Slight chance possibly season 5.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying right now. But I won't be surprised at the idea of it.
ReplyDeleteOk. Fair enough.
ReplyDelete
