This crossover was some of the best television I have ever watched. If you haven't yet, go watch it! Sophia Bush and Mariska Hargitay stole the show for me! Wow.
I loved it! I am really not a fan of the Chicago Fire/PD crossovers (except when it involves Antonio) because I always feel like it's too forced. But SVU and PD can crossover whenever they want! I loved the Benson and Voight scenes (of course), and I really liked Halstead and Rollins scenes. They worked well together. Great television.
How about the end when all the cop show their respect for the fallen officer......lot of emotion! I expect there will be more crossover but it has to make sense
It was a great story. I still don't think, that somebody like Teddy would go home with his mother who abandoned him so many years ago, after what he went through. He might keep in touch with his sister, but stay with his mother?!? And how will Erin's mother explain Teddy to her new husband without revealing the whole story of her life? Because I think she never told him, she made contact with Erin for her wedding but then was not really interested in Erin to sticking around.
Liked how they mixed up the partnerships. And pissed off Roman was a huge plus, also Voight and Benson- awesome, it seemed like Voight opened up a bit. The salute scene with Platt way too cheesy
Overall I enjoyed it, I am not a crossover fan, but i have to admit that the crossover with SVU and PD felt very natural - better than any crossover with Fire.
I liked the mixed partnerships as well, Lindsay and Rollins worked great together. I was confused Teddy would go with his mother as well. But I am not complaining, because that means we will see him again! I liked the brother/sister moments a lot.
That was good tv, as a verry long time fan of SVU, the crossovers two of my other favorite shows Chicago Fire and Pd, it was excellently down, I hope this was the beginning to more crossovers, it made SVU fresh again, I do hope we see Teddy again he really looks like he could be Erin's brother, the salute to the widow and daughter, very classy and well done!!
IMO I think that Teddy has had such a hard life that I think he may have just accepted her hospitality to have a decent place to live and a hot meal on the table for a while. I think something will happen later down the line.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteYes, he isn't miraculously healed. It gives room for a good storyline in the future.
