I loved it! From Castle's failed attempt to hide his giddiness and convince the Captain et al that this was simply an undercover op...to the Captain's "I'm sure it's Mr. Castle's fault." to the special opening credits. If I keep going I'll be listing just about every scene in the ep. Between the last two episodes the writers have ***almost*** gotten me to forgive them for the wedding cliffhanger.
I haven't laughed this much watching Castle as I have the last two episodes (E706 & 707) in a long time! I hope they keep going cuz right now they are on a roll!!! Loved the last two -best of season 7!
I loved the episode 99.999999999% my only miniscule nit pick is that I would have liked it more if Castle had of had the gunfight with the killer, in Vampire weekend Castle dressed up as Mal Reynolds he was twirling a gun like a pro in this epi he was a cluts, apart from that yeeeeeeehaw, and for us older viewers liked the Bonanza reference ( burning map )
It was a fun episode watching them play dress up on, not there honeymoon, the guys reaction to not being a part of the wedding was as we predicted, but of all people to come to Casketts rescue, Captain Gates, was totatlly team Caskett, the guys redemed themselves at the end, giving the couple a few extra days, it was a cute episode, before life takes over again!
Castle had also proved that he is a very experienced and trained shooter in Home is Where the Heart Breaks. Unfortunately the show sticks to the concept that "fun" means to laugh AT Castle, while originally it was about laughing WITH him. :(
I loved it. Every second of this episode was outstanding. I wouldn't change a thing about it. And as for their wedding, it was perfect. Loved it and it brings tears to my eyes when I rewatch it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Stana Katic couldn't have been any hotter!

ReplyDeleteIt was the best fluff piece in awhile. Stana was awesomely hot in those outfits. I loved the kiss at the end too cute.
ReplyDeleteThe way Ricks eyes kept poping out of his head I'd say he agreed with you:)
ReplyDeleteLoved Gates in this episode! Especially when she essentially told Ryan and Esposito to get over it!
