  2. I'm still in shock right now so I can just say it was fantastically brutal. My go to analysis of this show every week. Beautiful direction tonight.

  3. This show is too good better not get cancel Kane and Jaha together wow with Finn he going a bit killer crazy it's funny the roles are reverse Bellamy was more blood thirsty now it's Finn who blood thirsty I don't ship couples but that hug between Clarke and Bellamy melt my heart mount weather wow hope they get their friends out of there

  4. Clarke reuniting with Raven, Bellamy, and Octavia was great. I like how they didn't make it all about the Bellarke ship like I feared they might. Even after knowing how popular the pairing is, the writers aren't forcing it. Clarke hugging everyone was an emotional moment, but they didn't dwell on shipping and instead the first concern on the characters' minds were their fellow members of the 100.

I like everybody ignoring Abby. These kids have survived more than she can even comprehend and she acts like she should be obeyed as if they were back on the Ark. She and all of the other adults need to learn that the kids have the knowledge and experience that the adults lack.

I love the Bellamy/Octavia scenes. Their scenes together are pretty much the only time I care about Octavia.

Finn is officially insane. Its not a good sign when even Murphy thingks you're crazy. I think the Finn/Clarke ship is dead. After tonight, I think Finn dies in the midseason finale.

But man, those Grounders sure are stupid. They pick the moment Finn was going to leave to be idiots and try to escape.

  5. As long as no love triangles, I don't care either.

  6. I didn't know it was possible but this show tops itself EVERY SINGLE WEEK!!!! It just keeps getting more epic and I love it!!!! I also love all these character developments (even if they're not all for the better.. I'm looking at you Finn)

    ReplyDelete
  7. I don't ship I usually like what the writers put together but I would speak out if the pairing don't make sense but I can't stand love triangle but I don't mind quad at least you gave four people in it

  8. I honestly think something else is going on with Finn. When he saw Clarke, he still smiled and spoke with almost delusion "I found you" while dead bodies of innocent people, that he killed, lay at his feet. That's not only NOT normal, that isn't Finn. I don't care that his initial motivation was Clarke. This is still out of control, manic behavior. I'm not even a fan of Finn and I say something is very wrong there.

  9. Ugh - I hate having to wait until the next day to watch it online - if this show gets renewed for a S3, I am going to buy a TV for the sole purpose of watching this show live!

Sounds like Finn's out of character behavior gets worse in this episode....my working theory at this time is that he was captured by the Mountain Men after the events of the S1 finale and they did some kind of experiment on him (kinda like there are doing to Lincoln) and his behavior is a result of that experiment with the MM hoping that the end result would be Finn going nutso and killing his own people so the MM wouldn't have to.

  10. Another Awesome Episode.

God I hope those Finn dying rumours are true. He's always been my least favourite character (out of the kids of course, the adults never interest me), but this season he's even worse.

    ReplyDelete
  11. With his actions tonight, I can agree with that theory. There is something going on.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wow, Finn. I like the theory about it being a result of the experimenting in the premiere.

One of the biggest shockers of this episode was that Wallace initial intentions were not to use the 100 like that. That really surprised me.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, something is definitely whacko.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh god, they were right, I need a hug too now! oh Finn, why? It is a sad day when Bellamy is a moral compass

    ReplyDelete
  15. I wonder how long it will take for some jackass adult to be annoyed at the kids never being punished for running away with guns

    ReplyDelete
  16. They's dog training people! I did NOT see that coming! I totally thought the breach was done by the Mountain Men, I just expected the president to be in on it. I think the doctor and the creep from the donjon are faking hating each other but are really working together. He's in charge of security and caused the "breach" so she could test her theory about the kids' blood.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I knew it, Clarke wouldn't want to be close to Finn anymore, well she would be a moralist bitch then, nobody has clean hands in this show.

  18. ARRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! DAMN IT FINN COLLINS who the hell are you now, it's not a good day when murphy a freaking psychopathic cold-blooded murderer is telling you to stop killing, god and the way clarke looked at him my heart shattered into a million pieces this wasn't the way the reunion was supposed to go they were supposed to kiss every part of their bodies but noooo of course they had to make finn do that and have clarke being scared of him AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! abby slapping raven was uncalled for and very out of character and i never use that word with this show, i thought lincoln was faking through but no damn, raven calling octavia "Pocahontas" lol, AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! sorry i'm just very unbelievably and totally angry, they kind of went too far with finn he killed a kid for God's sake

    ReplyDelete
  19. you guys think psychologically? like jasper with his PTSD

    ReplyDelete
  20. but they were unarmed it's different killing in a war then just killing

    ReplyDelete
  21. that or they're sleeping together

  22. Such an intense episode!

The Clarke/Abby/Raven/Bellamy/Octavia reunion was everything I wanted and more! It felt so damn good to see all of them reunite. And the mother and daughter reunion was such an emotional moment for both of them. It made me tear up. Also, that Bellarke hug had me feeling things and made my heart all tingly and stuff. So damn cute.

Abby slapping Raven because she accused her of helping Clarke, Bellamy, and Octavia escape and look for Finn was totally out of line and it made really disappointed in her for the first time. I'll probably never forgive her for that. "She stopped being a kid the day you sent her down here to die". Truer words have never been spoken, Raven!

Jaha popping up from the shadows as Kane arrived in the pit made my jaw just drop to the floor. I was not expecting that at all. The scenes between these two should be freaking amazing in the future episodes after all that has happened between the both of them. "So we meet again".

I love that Monty continues to be suspicious of the Mountain Men and didn't leave Jasper's side as Maya's blood went through him. Nice thinking, Monty! Hopefully Jasper will start seeing the light and realize that all is not right on Mount Weather.

Finn was legit terrifying in this episode. Just seeing him go absolutely ballistic and start shooting at all the grounders scared the shit out of me. Damn, this character has evolved so much since season 1 that he's even more riveting. But damn, that look on Clarke's face when she saw what he had done was absolute horror. "I found you". There were chills down my spine when he said that. This season is firing on all cylinders and I can't wait to see what the writers have in store for us next!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Nope Nope Nope, Don't care what they do next, them Grown ups minus Jaha will always be half stupid to me. WTF kinda Chancellor Slaps some teen, she ain't your daughter. If anyone else had done it, they'd Probably get the electric lashes...

Then them Mountain People sure are evil. First they radiate their own to bate the 47, then they create reapers. They are pretty much some alien race that only cares about their own race.

    - I loved it when Monty had his fingers up basically saying No No, I'm staying right here!

When Kane got Dropped in the Pit. I was like what if he meets Jaha in there. holy shit it happened. Maybe Jaha will teach his coolness to Kane and he can achieve his 2nd redemption.

The big welcome by Clarke to Bellamy was funny but was expected.

Oh wait the worst had still to come...
The writers have ducked up Finn. As I had suspected they were not going in the direction one would hope with him since last episode. It wasn't a heroic rescue, (that bit when Raven told him to go get his people-Was a TRAP) it was a tragic Quest.

Their Goal was to create a good reason to split Clarke and Finn up for the long run.

    ReplyDelete
  24. You don't, You don't have to wait till the next day!

    ReplyDelete
  25. They've really sent Finn down a dark path. That massacre was just not something I was expecting. I was expecting Finn to do something stupid and ruin the potential peace but I didn't know it was going to be that awful. I really hope they don't try to redeem him after this.

I liked Raven, as always. The Bellamy/Octavia stuff was good as is Bellamy & Clarke's understanding with each other - I don't really ship them romantically but I love their friendship-thing.

I was surprised Jaha got from the NYC-area to the DC-area so quickly. I would think by horseback it would take longer.

I understand Jasper wanting to help Maya but I'm not liking where they're going with this - having all 46 of them being experimented on.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Never saw coming the massacre. Finn has completely gone to the dark side; while I didn't expected it, it does feel like the show was building up to it and yet... I'm loss at words, it was truly intense. And the way Clarke looked at him. Things are going to get tense around those two.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wow! Fine has lost it! I really do think he's dying in the mid-season finale now. Clarke is scraed of him and so am I.

Between that ending and all the reunions in the beginning, it was all very emotional. So glad that Bellamy and Clarke are back together, and yes, I ship them too.

Jaha! That was a surpise! As was Abby slapping Raven.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Finn losing it wasn't pretty, that is for sure. This show knows how to shock. When Bellamy destroyed the radio to save his own skin and indirectly aided that the 300 people got killed on the Arc that was easier to forgive than this. I don't know how Finn will get back from this but I still hope they don't kill him off.

  29. this show is daring. Showing how war can even destroy the best

    ReplyDelete
  30. Wow, Finn is ruthless. He´s even worse than Murphy and I thought he was the worst. He deserves to be punished. Loved scenes with Octavia and Bellamy, their relationship is so sweet. I feel sorry for Lincoln, he always gets captured and tortured, but this is whole different level. Jasper is stupid and chose to be the hero at the wrong moment. And I was surprised to see Jaha there and I think I was as shocked as Kane :D

This episode was insanly good, I need more seasons of this amazing show.

    ReplyDelete
  31. What an explosive episode! Things are reaching the tipping point at some places!
Finn losing it was just so sad .... I was yelling .. Finn, you idiot stop ... I like these grounders!!! He's gone insane, i have no doubt about that!
Clarke's reuniting scenes were awesome! It was her guilt of closing the hatch door on both Finn and Bellamy that caused her to really go out on a limb looking for them! That scene with Clarke and Bellamy at the camp was great ... as were the Bellamy and Octavia scenes ...

I think the episode overall was just heart breaking ... and I almost shed tears ... Clarke crying in the beginning, Octavia crying at the Lincoln Memorial and the last scene with the grounders being massacred. At this point, I like Murphy better than Finn (never thought I'd say that) and totally agree with Murphy's line that we liked Finn better as an idealist and a peacekeeper!

Oh sigh! at least BFFs Jaha and Kane have reunited!
Also, the Mt. Weather scenes were just creepy and I felt so bad for Lincoln! What are they doing to Lincoln!! The President's creepy son is also a good addition and can't decide whether I hate him more than the doctor who so slyly got Jasper to give his blood.

Oh come on guys ... rescue your friends from the evil Mt. Weather ....
Bellamy's line " how long before chocolate cake turns into upside down bags of blood" was just AWESOME! =P I like the clever humour on this show!

ARGGHHHHH ... going to wait here and rot away until the two weeks to the next episode!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm definitely sure the creepy dungeon son was in charge of the security breach and him and the doctor are in cahoots!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't think there is anything psychologically wrong with him. Its just a good example of why you shouldn't give an emotional, love-sick seventeen year old a machine gun. Bad shit happens.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wow!! What a brutal and explosive episode. I am still in shock. The reunion at Camp Jaha was beautiful. I loved Raven and Abby scene. At last some one told Abby what she needed to hear.

All the work Clarke did with Anya left in a drain by one deranged teen boy. What is in store for Finn now. The day Murphy becomes the voice of reason. I never thought that day would come.

Cereberus project is turning grounders in to mind controlled warriors. I really thought Lincoln would hulk out. So what was President's actual plan for the 48? It looked like he was hesitant to use their blood.

Jaha and Kane together. I love this show. Hope we get at least one more season.

    ReplyDelete
  35. His issues are completely psychological.

  36. I love TV fans. Characters did something good and they are like oh yeah, you are the best. Then something bad, screw you writers ☺

    ReplyDelete
  37. I had the feeling with Finn something like that was going to happen.
Thid development ist interesting, my only complain is that the show
didn't give more time and consideration to changes in Finn's character. I
can see the seeds of his present state having been planted in earlier
episodes, but the pace of the show is so fast that as an audience you
(along with the characters) naver get the time for all the horrible
consequences of what's happening to sink in and process. Although season
1 Finn is largelly seen a sweet, peaceful boy I would say he had it in
him before too, the capicity for rush decisions and even violence.
Remember him falling apart and trashing the bunker and then impulsively
sleeping with Clarke? He also made impulsive - if much better decisions
    - when he decided to use Reappers as a distraction or even fo for
Bellamy just befre Clarke had to close the doors. Sure, those were
heroic decisions, buy impulsive no less. And then he had Clarke at his
side to ground him. For me it was significant, that he went all furios
and violent upon learning, they lost signal from the Ark and were
possibly never see those left behind (icluded his girlfriend) and only
Clarke reassuring him that he was not alone, seald with sex and
beginning od the new relationship, calmed him down. Maybe Finn is a good guy and can be rational and heroic etc but he needs this constant reassurence of having someone in his life to fight for.
When that person was treatend, he was ready to kill, as seen last
season. Now, at the beginning od 2 season, he had been captured (by the
people he initially wanted to try for peace) and put i awful situation when he had to watch his comrades die because they couldn't stand on their feet long enough, and all control was taken
from him. Then he learned that Clarke is gone, surely taken by
Grounders and maybe dead already. His time is running out and still
even his most drastc choices are fruitless. It's a spiral from here and
we see it, inculding the horrid end. It's all believable, I just wish we
were able to see the process happening more gradually. The conclusion
    would feel more earned.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Finn is really pissing me off this season, just kill him already. And that grounder kid was really stupid, why did he keep trying to make a run for it?

    ReplyDelete
  39. awesome episode, loved the Bellarke hug scene and the campfire scene. Finn is becoming a sociopath - one minute friendly guy with peace on his mind, the next a killer of half a village!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I've seen the signs too with Finn. I like "impulsive" to describe him. It's also obvious that he has a clear disregard for the rules. From extra air-wasting spacewalking to unbuckling his seat belt on the drop ship (which resulted in two deaths of kids who were trying to copy him, the first blood was split because of Finn) to being first to grab bbq without removing his wristband while declaring "I thought there were no rules".

    ReplyDelete
  41. Just one word: INSANE

The 100 is the best show right now, wow.

    ReplyDelete
  42. The third looks like the most probable option but if they can turn around Murphy who btw I am waiting to go back douche mode (I have great appreciation for the actor who plays Murphy. He is really great.) god knows what is in store for Finn. One thing is sure Clarke is not going to take him with her for missions. So he might hang out on Camp Jaha with Raven and maybe his best friend can bring some normalcy to his life.

One thing is sure he will have a redemption either by death or by another greater mood swing.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think Finn has some serious PTSD issues

    ReplyDelete
  44. I know, it's just that I need any kind of consolation.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Best episode of the series so far. I am still reeling in what happened and making sense of it so my comments will come later.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I've looked and can't find any that are free and don't make my firewall ping every 10 seconds! I think my only real option is to break down and buy a TV - maybe I can finagle a way to get a Nielsen box while I'm at it ;-)

  48. The ending was very reminiscent of the Governor massacre in The Walking Dead, which I loved that they went there.

AND... Finn being compared to the Governor is a death sentence for his character. Who would have guessed in season one that Finn the pacifist would kill an innocent villagers.
