With the TV season in its seventh full week, we thought it'd be a good time to ask readers about the new shows on offer this season. We have a poll for the new show that you think is the best and a poll for which of the new shows are your favourite (this is as we are aware that for many, the show that they enjoy the most may not be the best show).
NOTE: These polls cover only network shows (i.e. those from ABC, CBS, CW, FOX and NBC).

ReplyDeleteI'm loving Jane the Virgin (favorite and best) and Constantine (favorite and best). The Flash has been quite entertaining and actually good, so that's tied with my other choices.

ReplyDeleteBlack-ish - I though A-Z or Marry Me would be my favourite new comedy but they are both too average. Black-ish meanwhile is really funny and the twins are especially hiralious
ReplyDeleteJane The Virgin - Never thought I would be saying this but it has such an Ugly Betty vibe and I loved the early seasons of that show.
Runner-up: Selfie which continues to improve and I am going to be really sad when it gets cancelled.
Shows which need to do better but have potential: Constantine, A-Z (though its cancelled now), Marry Me and Gotham
There's no new show this year that I really love. My favourites would probably be Constantine and Selfie. I kinda like The Flash and How to Get Away With Murder too. But the new shows I'm really looking forward to don't start for a while. The Messengers and The Whisperers I'm waiting for you!

My favorites are the same as the best imo, The Flash and HTGAWM.

ReplyDeleteThe Flash has easily won me over by how entertaining it is; though not as good on the drama front as Arrow, it surely has been a blast to watch.
Marry Me just hits the funny bone! I find it hilarious and I have been enjoying it to the fullest. I already watched tonight's episode via screener and it is outstanding.
I agree with Bruce except for NBC Mysteries of Laura

The new shows I've been watching are Jane, The Flash, Gotham, Constantine and Stalker. I'm behind on both Gotham and Stalker but find that they are a lot darker than the shows I usually watch. I am surprised with how much I am enjoying Jane, I wasn't sure what to expect but I like the over dramatic side of it and that it's a comedy as much as a drama. It's reminding me of Secret Life of the American Teenager but with older characters and I really enjoyed that show. Constantine is fun because I've been watching Supernatural for so long it's nice to see another take on the same genre and monster of the week style episodes. Flash is lighter than Arrow which is good because then they would be too much the same show.
