This was a vast improvement from last week's suckage. Still not happy that Katrina is separated again but it is long past time for an Abbie-centric episode. Plus we got Jenny and Iriving in extended scenes so woo hoo! My vote goes to Abbie and Jenny watching the tape together, bonded as sisters.
ReplyDeleteNo question, that end scene with Abbie, Jenny, and their mom. That was so emotional and deeply moving.
ReplyDeleteI also loved the scene where they came across that replication of the picture Jenny had drawn her mom as a kid. The flashback Jenny had with her and her mom in the car was so heartbreaking, but I love the idea that her mom held on to that picture as she did all those years. Lots and lots of great Mills family moments in this episode.
There was a lot of heart in this episode and it was great to see the Mills sisters in the focus. I think the seance scene is going to be the overwhelming winner this week.
ReplyDeleteI really like every scene that cranky Sickabod Crane. He's so hilarious when he's sick and try to fight a drugged soup from Hawley. I would be happier if there is a scene that IC wake up and he see no one in there.
ReplyDeleteI really like the unveiling of the mural - seeing their movements become more frenzied along with the swell of the music and the way Hawley turns from observer to participant as soon as he sees the emotional effect this is having on the both of them...well, the whole thing was put together masterfully.
