Biggest moment for me was HexenMom saying she was leaving. Say it isn't so. However Nick getting his Grimm powers back is pretty big too. :-P
ReplyDeleteNick getting his Grimm powers back for sure! It was so epic!!!
ReplyDeleteSo many great moments in this episode.
ReplyDeleteI loved it when Nick saw the guy in the police department woge!
ReplyDeleteHard choice this week as there were several great scenes but I went with Nick getting his Grimm powers back and kicking Wesen butt...I have been not so patiently waiting for this since the premier and it didn't disappoint - even got a glimpse of Zombie Nick! Really hoping the writers don't drop this story line - I want to see how this whole thing effects Nick, Juliette and Adalind.
ReplyDeleteSad to see HexenMom go but if she were to team up with Mama Grimm and take out Adalind and the Royals, then it would all be worth it!
I like everything about the episode, most especially the continuation of the key storyline with Josh re-entering the scene again.
ReplyDeleteNick getting it on with Adalind. When they're face to face for real next time she'll be all "so you broke the spell...how was I? Now that we've each been with each other...wanna do it for real. You know you want to"
ReplyDeleteSomething about this episode just did not excite me like I thought it would. However, when Nick finally became Grimm and watching him switch to Grimm-Nick and gain some confidence definitely perked my interest. That scene made the entire episode worth it.
ReplyDeleteNick getting his powers back. Finally!
ReplyDeleteSo many good choices. I went with seeing Josh again.
ReplyDeletevery pilot-ty right?
ReplyDeletethey didn't drop the zombie storyline, he kept the powers because he's a Grimm
ReplyDeleteOh totally, but Nick is the hero, and majority of us loved seeing him getting the mojo back. Husband & I had a post T'day and Grimm party and you'd think it was the Superbowl.
ReplyDeleteNick getting powers back and the transformation and awkward leaving afterwards. So great.
ReplyDeleteLol. That won't happen.
ReplyDeleteSo many awesome moment. It was hard to choose a favorite, but in the end, I had to go with Nick getting his powers (and his confidence) back. Other great moments included the entire scene with Juliette's transformation to Adalind and the reaction of Trubel, Hank and Rosalee. I also loved the time that Juliette and Trubel showed up to protect Rosalee, the scene with Trubel slashing the Wesen's tires and the scene at the end with a scared Josh wielding a knife. Great episode!
ReplyDeleteThere was ever going to be only one particular scene on every fans mind this week: Nick getting his Grimm powers back & being a total badass again while taking out a gang of vicious wesen!
ReplyDeleteI could have put this scene and Other as the only two choices on the poll and I think most people would be happy. It was an important scene and so many fans are relieved.
ReplyDeleteI like how it came on gradually instead of right at once. We knew he was getting his powers back but it was nice to see the characters not so sure.
ReplyDeleteI am still holding out for HexenMom, Mama Grimm, and Trubel taking over the whole show or having a spin-off. These women rock.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. They pretty much dropped ZombieNick after three episodes and I think that was a huge mistake. There were so many things avenues they could have explored. I am one of the few that are glad they took their time this season and kept Nick without powers for so long.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see them continue with the key storyline because they dropped it so long ago and it's become a huge plothole. I'm not so sure about Josh though.
ReplyDeleteThat is the overwhelming fan favorite scene. I was good with the case of the week this time but it felt like they were throwing a lot of subplots at us in hopes that somethings would stick.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people feel the same way. I just hope that it doesn't mean that he stops being a mentor to Trubel because that is the role I like him best in these days.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what they are going to do with his character. He was abruptly thrown in 2 weeks in a row now so obviously they have some reason for bringing him back.
ReplyDeleteIt was great seeing Nick kick butt again, but I agree that the awkward parts were enjoyable too because they were funny.
ReplyDeleteWatching everyone's reactions to seeing Juliette as Adalind was the only part of that storyline that I enjoyed. It was priceless seeing their faces. I also loved their reaction when she was Juliette again and especially Trubel is so relieved.
ReplyDeleteActually I stopped writing down scenes in the rewatch because there was no doubt that would be the overwhelming favorite. It was nice to see Nick kick butt again.
ReplyDeleteShowrunnners said the key plotline will play out over the course of the series itself so I'm expecting the reveals and other "key" developments to be gradual per season.
ReplyDeleteI don't really mind waiting as long as they get there eventually.
They're were a lot of favorite scenes but without a doubt my favorite of course when, Nick got his powers back you knew what was coming with that little smirk on his face and we all knew he's back, with his kickass self right back where he left off, Honorable mentions all scenes with Trubel!!!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of Nick getting his powers back for me is the possibility of Nick and Trubel kicking butt together. In my fondest wish, Mama Grimm stops by midfight and helps finish off all teh rest of the bad Wesen.
ReplyDeleteInstead of having every Vienna scene being Adalind and Viktor scmucking about, I hope we start getting answers as to what the Royals' end game is and why the keys are important. That mytharc sucked me in and then we could also see what the Resistance is doing to foil the Royals, getting Meisner back again.
ReplyDeleteOoh wow, wouldn't that be awesome I'd pay to see it:)
ReplyDeleteA spin-off with the ladies would be fabulous! NBC could finally have a show that paired well with Grimm ;-) (I love Constantine but the retention isn't what I was hoping for).
ReplyDeleteWould you prefer with or without the baby? I think I would like them to still have Diana - raising her while working with the resistance to undermine the Royal's power all while checking in every now and then with the Portland group could be an excellent premise...especially since word is bound to get out in the Wesen community of a SuperHexenRoyalBaby that bad guys besides the Royals are going to want for nefarious reasons!
If I recall, there was also a vested interest on Eric's part to bring Nick to Austria. They never really showed Eric's intentions towards him aside from maybe using him to locate the other keys with Nick under the Royal's control so I do hope, once there is interest again to bringing the character back and James Frain is available for a redux, that they explore that part again.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, maybe you're right about the subplots. I can't put my finger on it, it was just... boring. I was juts thinking "hurry up and get to the point"
ReplyDeleteI kinda feel sorry for Erick Evari. He seems tapped to play the Villain a lot. Also ... there is no way he can pass for Indian, which is where the Cult of Kali would of come from.
ReplyDeleteProbably not but its totally within Adalind's character to say something like that.
ReplyDeleteHave more than just one but Nick is getting his powers back was awesome
ReplyDeleteThank you! My feelings exactly. Wasn't he in The Mummy?
