Laurel and Ted's final scene. They are building that relationship up well and it mirrors the comic book relationship.
ReplyDeleteI don't even need them to date. I just love their current dynamic. He trusts her, he believes in her, and still cares about her safety. She needs someone in her life like that.
Love the scene when Roy asked Oliver not to leave him! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteI loved oliver's response to Roy "don't abandon me" .... "NEVER"
ReplyDeleteDefinitely boxing glove arrow. Roy and Oliver bromance. They are the Mc Dreamy and Meredith of this show.
ReplyDeleteI'll admit I struggled to find enough scenes that I liked this week (especially hard when trying to spread the love between the characters). My favorites were the boxing glove arrow, Oliver and Roy's bromantic moment and all of the Laurel and Ted scenes. KC and JRR have serious working chemistry (meaning their scenes don't make me want to break my TV ie Oliver and Laurel).
ReplyDeleteI literally lifted my hands and shouted boxing glove arrow 10 seconds before it happened! That was the best surprise of the episode and it was done in an actual realistic manner, more or less. I enjoyed the entire episode more than the previous weeks. Only wish they would move forward with the Ra's Al Ghul plot a little faster.
ReplyDeleteBoxing glove arrow!!
ReplyDelete- Don't abandon me.
ReplyDelete- Never.
That was a brief but really touching moment between Oliver and Roy.
Can someone pleeeease help me understand this boxing glove arrow as something great instead of cheesy silly? Why do all the comic peeps love it so?
ReplyDeleteBecause it's such a classic and long running comic book thing. It's also cheesy. Green Arrow's array of crazy trick arrows is extremely cheesy. It's the kind of good cheese that only comic books can get away with.
ReplyDeleteBack in the days when comics were heavily censored (look up the history of the "Comic Code" if you want to know more) I guess boxing gloves were a safe, non-leathal way to take the bad guys out. Green Arrow had his boxing gloves arrows, Green Lantern often formed boxing gloves with his ring.
There's a comic somewhere in my collection that makes fun of this "What was with the boxing glove obsession?", but I don't quite remember which one.
