I chose Abby and Clarke uniting. It was teh most touching scene for me.
ReplyDeleteThe whole episode rocked but my favorite scenes were a half naked Lincoln being tortured and drugged. What can I say? The man is serious eye candy. 😄
ReplyDeleteSame. I also liked the scene where Raven tells Abby that her daughter stopped being a child the moment she sent her to the ground. The "adults" should really start to listen to this "kids".
ReplyDeleteThere were some amazing scenes in this one but from an:
ReplyDeleteEmotional standpoint: Abby and Clarke reunite. Eliza Taylor's tears during "I thought you were dead" was so very perfect. Then Octavia telling Bellamy that she couldn't save Lincoln.
Technical standpoint - I loved the direction on Finn's Grounder massacre. Not a fan of the what happened but it was well done. (I don't know how Finn comes back from this. No matter if they find out something is wrong with him or not)
While not a scene in itself, I loved Bellamy/Octavia/Clarke working together. I don't know who dubbed them the Adventure Squad, but I liked it.
OT - Am I the only one who gets confused when spelling Abby? The 100 Abby is with a y.Sleepy Hollow Abbie is with an ie and I have to remind myself who I'm writing about. Ha.
I think so too and I see some serious issues ahead for Abby and Clarke. Clarke is not a kid to be parented anymore. She's an independent woman and coming into her own, leader.
ReplyDeleteYes, and I hope they find a way to work together. Clarke and Bellamy lead the 100 (or what's left of them) and know the ground and the different people that live there, and Abby and Kane (and Jaha if he doesn't sacrifice himself...AGAIN) lead the rest and have different kind of experience, that it's also needed. But right now they're making the same mistakes the "kids" did last season, or handling things the way they did in the Ark. They better listen and learn...fast, or things will get much worse (and I'm sure they will).
ReplyDeleteThe "Adventure Squad" came from a fan that does photo recaps on tv.com. They're really funny, you should check them out. Toni_watches is her name (I think is a she).
ReplyDeleteOMG The "adults" consistently discounting what the "kids" say even though the kids have you know actually survived Earth for a bit and figured some stuff out bugs the crap out of me. It supidity for drama sake.
ReplyDeleteBellamy and Clare reuniting!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely that insane Finn scene. I hope we see more of him like that and not just him trying win back Clarke.
ReplyDeleteIt was that good episode that I would choose all options :D
ReplyDeleteBellamy and Clarke hug!!
ReplyDeletewhy isnt bellamy/clarke reuntion an option?
ReplyDeleteBecause it happened when Bellamy and Octavia return to camp so it's part of that option.
ReplyDeletemy vote is going to that option then
ReplyDeleteDefinitely loved the scenes that followed Bellamy and Octavia returning to camp but must also add that I loved Raven's line to Abby about how Clarke is not a kid anymore and in a twisted way, the final scene ... for just how brutal it was and Finn going all creepy ''I found you'' ... kudos to Thomas for making that scene so creepy!
ReplyDeleteHow do I choose a scene that's the worst EVER on tv in terms of feelings, in terms of everything I stand for, a scene that shattered my favorite character to pieces - but is at the same time one of the best EVER in terms of cinematography and acting?
ReplyDeleteThe scene where Finn slaughters the villagers is the best, but is at the same time the worst. It's horrible.
So instead I go for "other" and chose a Finn scene before that - a scene where he stopped, where he let that poor girl go, where he regained control of himself enough to step away. When he leans back against the fence then, eyes closed, there's so much pain on his face. So much pain. That's also brilliant acting. Why can't we focus on that, Dahne1?
