I don't think so. It was extremely unlikely that Martine would kill Shaw right in the first minutes of the episode. From that point on - if they wanted to be at least a little bit true to Shaw's persona and character - it was obvious that she would pick up a fight if it comes head on to her. The outcome of the fight - well, that's a different thing, but they din't show it, did they?
Yeah I don't think that is the suspense at all. It made for a good cliffhanger because it is still a tense situation. The true suspense is going to steam from what happens with Elias/Scarface. Will they make it out alive? 1 of them? Neither?
Yeah it's going to be tough tonight. I like them both as well and really want Elias to stick around. But it depends how it all plays out, maybe a demise is for the best we'll see how they do it. I love the Brotherhood storyline and really want it to continue for a while. Elias going head to head with them makes it real interesting. But having him out of the picture could really fuel their organization as well.
I have been nervous about losing them and then I read an interview in which Enrico said the team would not be as respectful of him after this episode and it made me wonder about his number coming up ----maybe he is not the victim but the perpetrator. I really really want him to stick around because it is nigh on impossible to create such a compelling villain. Then again, if he is dead I suppose his answer would fit that outcome as well.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So much looking forward to this episode!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say the same. I'm almost afraid that Elias might not make it out of this one.
ReplyDeleteOh I just love Shaw! Can't wait for the episode!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's impressive work from CBS to ruin the cliffhanger in both the promo and the sneak peek they release.
ReplyDeleteI try to ignore the fear :) I'd miss him too!
ReplyDeleteNot watching. Will hold out.
ReplyDeleteLol, handy place for a machine gun

ReplyDeleteWell we've already saw what she stores in her fridge, so no big surprise :)
ReplyDeleteEvery week you say this, and every week I have to come here to goad and tease you. Why must you make me do this, DebraFan? Why?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing some of those makeup samples double as hand grenades
ReplyDeletegotta love Shaw's death stare. everything about her is loveable ;)

ReplyDeleteHopefully they survive. I can't bear to lose either of them.
ReplyDeleteBecause it's the only way, I get to see you on a POI comment thread.
