    Sorry, weren't we told that she has a behavioural disorder (I'm lazy to search back the correct kind) wich makes unable to feel real emotions, like love or remorse? I know that she showed some lately, but it was mostly because she enjoyed what she did and because she trusted her partners. "Falling for" someone is a little too much for me - her problem was not the kind someone could outgrow.

    Given the face that Shaw has that emotion disorder, I don't think it's possible for her to "fall for" some random poi who probably will only be in this ep (at least I hope so). I hope it's for the mission and for Root to get jelly and that will get things going:))))

    Asked this question, the producers would probably explain that Shaw has changed since she joined the team. But this is of course bullsh.t. So, I really hope that either it's a part of a plan or it will be just one night.

    I hope so as well. IMHO poking somebody or being bored or happy because something good or bad happens is in-character with her status - these are mood changes of her. I mean it's just about herself. Having feeling for somebody is a different topic.

    My English might be outdated, but AFAIK "falling for sy" doesn't mean just sex. It can be that in the end in the episode it will be just that, but we are talking about now what the SP suggests.

    Root doesn't sound jealous at all. She's merely pointing out a potential Out-of-Character beat (which is the right play from Shaw's POV).
